Buffalo Wild Wings (B-Dubs or BW3s to the loyalists) is strictly passable for NFL Sunday Ticket purposes. Due to the severe and inexplicable dearth of sports bars in this college town, everyone ends up funneled to Buffalo Wild Wings, Wild Wing Cafe (no relation), or McGrady's. All three are pretty generic sports bars. B-Dubs features respectable beer specials--on Sundays, you can get something decent for $3. The food ranges from decent to poor, but you're not really there for the food, are you?
They have upgraded to some decent TV screens, but some are still the old CRT boxes. Inexplicably, some of the new flat screens aren't running HD. Go figure.
It's smoky. That should change once the new law takes effect, mercifully. -

I used to go there weekly (at least) for beer and wings/wrap. This week I went there and discovered that my favorite beer there (Bass) has been discontinued. So, I wanted an amber ale and ordered Dos Equis and asked the server if it was amber or the light one--she said, "amber." She brought tall light Dos Equis for me and my dinner partner. When questioned, she said, "well, it's just as good." OK, I have no patience with idiocy. I'll never return...will not let my business go there.... This speaks to poor management--which never has been good. Often went there with 4-5 servers talking on their cell phones...chatting with each other at the cash register and not attentive to customers....manager--when she's awake--is inattentive as well. If you're considering this place....think twice.

Great place to chill and hang out... but not for wings. Maybe for their "Power Hour" $1 beers.
First, we stood near the door for a good 15 min waiting for someone to say hi or tell us where to go. Many minutes later, we're told we can seat ourselves.
I also prefer my wings of the dry variety. B Dubs have cooked wings with sauce on them. Variety of sauce is ok, I don't ask for much. But I do ask that my wings actually taste like something when I bite INTO them. I don't think they fry their wings... they taste boiled....
One member of our group decided to do the blazin wing challenge. 12 of their hottest wings in under 6 min.... NO ONE wanted to be the one to time us so we sat their for 10 min with a thing of wings.... And when one guy finally does come to do the timing he was indignantly bored the entire time. Way to be antisocial.
Meh. Just Meh. -

Great wings! They have all different sauces so you can choose how hot or mild you want them. Go hungry cause you will eat a ton!! They also have great buffalo chips.... get them with cheese! This place is not a date place.... go with a group of friends.... perfect for guys night out. There are always sports on the TV. The service is not great..... it's usually a bunch of college kids trying to make a buck. But the food makes it worth it. Go with patience and you will have a good time!

Servers and the manager really could care less about the fact that they actually have a job in the SERVICE industry. Maybe provide some service next time.
