My first experience with buffalo wings this past fall at Brown Jug was something I thought better left forgotten. After being a vegetarian for over ten years, I found them not worth the mess to get to what meager meat was left on the bone. But then Buffalo Wild Wings introduced me to boneless wings and my attitude shifted dramatically into the pro-wing camp.
The whole concept of flavors is brilliant. We sampled the spicy garlic (too hot), Thai curry (too blah), Parmesan garlic (yummy), and Asian Zing (AMAZING). I kind of wish I could get Asian Zing wings delivered nightly, though that seems like an unwise move for overall bodily health. It's a little overpriced for the limited amount of product you get, but surprisingly filling. I just wish their beers were cheaper and that they gave more complementary veggies with the wings. I need at least a dozen celery wands and carrot sticks to maintain my veggie-loving sanity. -

If you'd ever been to Buffalo wild wings this one is no different. A lot of Michigan stuff on the walls is all that has changed. Okay food for okay price.

Their blazin' wings are legitimately hottttt. I had trouble taking my contacts out later that night.
3 stars because this place is pretty standard, and I have spent over an hour waiting to be seated--NOT on one of their wing nights! Pretty expensive as far as wings go, but if you do go on Tuesday? Thursday? the price isn't so bad.
The trivia is also fun. -

Excellent wings and boneless wings. I'm especially fond of the spicy garlic and Asian zing sauces, although both medium and hot hold a special place in my heart for their classic flavor. My friends with a higher heat tolerance than I swear by Hot BBQ or Wild. If you're feeling particularly lard-a-licious, the potato wedges (plain) are excellent.
Fairly extensive beer list, albeit with few interesting or unusual choices. They do usually serve at least one Sam Adams seasonal and one Bell's seasonal, and often have dirt cheap Bud/Miller/Coors specials.
I don't recommend the cocktails--they're designed for the novice drinker who enjoys very sugary, fruity concoctions with low quality liquor. I also don't particularly recommend the tenders, which need to be dipped in the sauce--the boneless wings are a better alternative because they arrive sauced. B-Dubs is a poor choice for vegetarians, and an awful choice for vegetarians who don't eat shrimp.
B-Dubs is a decent place to watch sports, but beware: They sometimes hire a live DJ on Friday nights. Aside from this being totally bizarre, they will mute any games so the DJ can play his music, so you may want to avoid this venue for any important Friday night games.
And one final warning: Take out quality tends to be relatively poor. After one too many orders of skimpily sauced take out wings, we've opted to dine in only.Listed in: Ann Arbor Pub Crawl

If you're from out of town, you may not want to eat at a chain that you can visit when at home. That was my boyfriend and my case at least. But after two nights of eating out at small privately owned restaurants and spending well over $200 each time, we were just looking for a place to get some good and cheap eats. This was just like any other Buffalo Wild Wings, but compared to other places in the area, the value was way higher than expected. We ordered promptly, were fed promptly, and my camel of a boyfriend couldn't even finish his drinks before he had another on the table! Samantha was great, prompt, efficient, and friendly. It was just what we needed!

Good wings, hot or mild, with the bone or boneless, Cold beer and pretty good service.
A good place to grab a table and share a drink and a story or two.
Lots of TV's on the walls and lots of seating.
We will visit again when in downtown AA -

Service at this place is pretty good. I've been here a few times for friends' birthday gatherings and the drinks are always delicious. The food is so-so; not bad and not great, but typical for a b-dubs. The parking near this venue is at a premium so it loses a star for that...but once you find parking we are confident you'll enjoy this venue.

I cannot figure out why people love Buffalo Wild Wings...I used to visit the location in Ypsilanti years ago and it was much better. I've been dragged into "A2 B-dubs" as it's known to my coworkers, on many occasions and the food is, for lack of a better term, VILE.
None of the wings are crisp or crunchy. They are decidedly limp, flabby, and mushy and somehow bring to mind a cooked baby's arm...*shivers* I've tried many, many flavors and even tho some of the sauces are tasty it can't make up for the scary texture of the wings.
The sandwiches are all lackluster except for the various permutations of fried chicken-finger rollups...which are ok/edible. The fried appetizers are ok as well, nothing special. Service is always friendly, upbeat, and prompt but I feel bad that they have to serve such gross food. -

Nice place to hang out with a group of friends or a friend to eat, watch a game or have few drinks. The customer service is hit or miss. The younger generation really need to work on their communication skills. I have tried all the variety of chicken wings. My favorite is Caribbean Jerk others I like are: Asian Zing, Parmesan Garlic and Teriyaki.

I used to be one of those people who couldn't understand why people like this place so much... but then I started coming here with some friends to watch the game. And it was fun! (This is coming from a girl who doesn't even like sports to begin with).
It's great to just hang around with friends (this place is open so late, it's awesome), order drinks and occasionally get decently cheap food when you crave it.
If you're getting wings, I'm not a big spicy-food eater, but I love the Asian Zing or Honey BBQ. -

We ate at Buffalo Wild Wings this past Sunday after the Detroit marathon. We were looking for a place to eat and watch the football games and this place was a pretty good choice. The football games were on the multiple TV's throughout the restaurant (at least 25?) and we were able to sit back and eat and enjoy a little football on a Sunday. The waitress was also great as she didn't push us through our meal and mentioned that it was fine if we wanted to hang out and watch after we finished our food.
The wings here are good. Not the best that I've ever had, but consistently good. We had the mild, honey BBQ, Carribean Jerk and Hot BBQ and were happy with all of the sauces. I also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Wrap which was well done - good amounts of chicken, lettuce, tomato and sauce to make it enjoyable. The food was not outstanding, but for your average bar food, it was right on par.
The crowd was definitely there to watch football and that made the atmosphere fun on Sunday afternoon. -

For some reason, I always get horrible service at this BWW, much worse than the one in Novi or even the Ypsi one. If you're going on a game day, be prepared to come early or wait for bit because it gets crowded...unfortunately i like their wings...the caribbean jerk and spicy garlic are tops on my list...the atmosphere's pretty normal for a bar...loud during sporting events and relatively tame on other nights...
If i was basing my review on service, i'd give it a 2/5 but just the wings i'd give it a 4/5 because of the variety and the cheaper prices on certain days. -

I have a soft spot for sports bars. I think they can be a lot of fun, especially if you go with a good group to watch a good game. Nothing beats watching an awesome game with a packed bar full of tons of yelling people and a bunch of huge T.V.s. Well, for some people anyway.
I'm not a huge fan of "B-Dubs". I don't think their food is that great and I don't really like wings so....there it is. My 2 star review, though, is mostly reflective of what happened when I was there for a meeting. I arrived first and was met fairly promptly by the server. I just ordered a water with lemon and it took at least 10 minutes for her to bring it over. The place wasn't even that busy.
Anyway--it is what it is. If a group of friends invite you to come along, there are worse places you could be. I would never recommend this for dinner, though. Tons of other better places if food is your main concern. -

WINGS TUESDAYS at Bdups!!
Extremely popular on Tuesday nights for their 40 cents wings. (Used to be 35 cents!)
My favorite sauces are Asian Zing and Parmesan Garlic.
Dont mess with Blazing - if you really want to give it a go, my advice is take it slow. It can really burn...
I loved coming here late on Tuesday nights(to avoid the crowd) for wings and a few rounds of Photo Hunt. there are also various arcade game booths, pool tables and dart boards. fun! -

For a chain bar, this one is pretty decent. Their food and beer are average but what makes this place great is that transports like my husband and I, who are huge NY Mets/Jets fans, can come here whenever there's a game on and watch on one of the bigs screens. Score.

Now this is the B-Dubs to B at! Unlike East Lansing, they don't charge cover to come in and watch the UFC fights, which is the best function of any BWW. They also have delicious wings, the spicy garlic and hot flavors are my favorites (since yes, I can't handle the blazin').
Overall, it's a good place for beer, spicy wings and hanging out. The quiz game is also decent. Don't expect too much though, people. It's a chain, after all. -

Inflation is a bitch. 40 cents now on wing nights at B-Dubs, huh? I remember when it was 25! Well, I suppose this is still a value for the poor college student. I gotta go hot with the sauces (I stare Blazin' down like no one's business), but l would also get some Honey BBQ ones when I needed a break to cool my mouth down.
On non-wing nights, I have ordered the nachos here. They come with beef chili on top, which for me is no good. So I asked for it without chili, and it came as such. I also asked for the sour cream to come on the side. They were surprisingly good at accommodating my requests. You never know at places like this...
The beer is typical. Apple martini was good, cosmo was so-so. This place used to be absolutely packed, and I have to imagine that it still draws a pretty hefty crowd, especially on sports nights and Tuesday nights. -

I always feel somewhat silly reviewing chains. You either already know you like it, or already know you don't. In my case, I think Buffalo Wild Wings is a sad place to be, but sometimes I am sad, and would like to watch a sports game while murdering chickens.
You know what you'll get: lots of TVs showing every event imaginable, loud bros cheering or groaning, leftover green beer from St. Patrick's day or similar specials, and wings that taste delicious when going down your throat but make you feel guilty afterwards.
Whether that is something that you want, well, that's your choice. -

This place is not spectacular in terms of food or atmosphere. The wings are okay, but you'd think with the word "wings" in their name, they'd be better. But, for the price, I guess they are pretty good.
The beer is mediocre. Newcastles taste like Killians there. The other night they had a special on Sam Adams, though, which was actually pretty good - so I would recommend asking what's on special if they aren't already offering.
The place gets pretty packed on the weekend, but this is not a surprise... it's a bar, with beer, and wings. At least there is a no-smoking section, it being also part-"family restaurant." This weird amalgamation of purposes makes it a weird place to be though. Usually it's full of college kids, very loud ones, or sports fans. The bar area has large round tables with stools. I don't know, the place is kind of big, loud, and uncomfortable. That's pretty much how I'd characterize the atmosphere.
The wait staff is usually pretty attentive but there can be a long wait for food. Thanks to my friend Bobby, just about every waitress in the place probably has received my phone number on any available scrap of paper on the table, so really there's only one question. What gives, ladies? Call me. -

I watched the Michigan game here last weekend, and it was a great place to do so. It was packed with Michigan fans, there were plenty of tall beers and the service, despite the crowd, was pretty attentive. And also, I got much love for the spicy garlic sauce on the Naked Tenders.
Was a little miffed when the big projector screen kept going out, but other than that, it was a lot of fun! -

Before the one in Ann Arbor opened up, I used to go to the one in Ypsi when it was still by the AATA bus station; they moved.
Now that its in Ann Arbor, I have been to BW's several times and they redid their sauces some years ago. It's your typical bar/wing/food joint... this place gets busy, so can't say when it's good time to go to avoid the crowd...
I typically will get the wedges with cheese, onion rings and dozen wings. My sauce of choice is Asian Zing! I don't know why, but I love the Asian Zing sauce - it's sweet and not too hot! They used to have honey mustard - I miss that.... I have tried all their sauces - yes even the Blazin.
I would not recommend Blazin if you are not used to hot sauces. In addition, if you are going to try the Blazin, please put the whole wing in your mouth and debone the wing if you can... otherwise you'll get the sauce on your lips and you will suffer!!!
I know in some places they will do the Blazin challenge - not sure if this place does or not... basically it's - eat 6 blazin wings and wait for five minutes or so without drinking any water. Not sure what the prize is, but if you want to hurt yourself go for it! :) The sauce itself is worth trying once - but you need to work your way up to the sauce. Try wild for some time and jump into blazin if you are ready!
As for the service - it's hit or miss - and it doesn't matter if it's busy or not. I was there when it was slow and your waitress was hard to find... they came by once every 15 min or so to check on you... I would understand if the place was packed, but when its empty it shouldn't take 15 minutes for someone to check upon you.
If you love wings and beers - give this place a try. By the way, did you know BW's used to be called BW3's? -

if you want wings, come here.
i am usually very stingy with my 5 stars, but they said they had good wings, and they did.
i am not saying this place is any sort of culinary genius...i am saying that they deliver the type of cuisine you expect upon arrival.
they have, i wanna say, 37 varieties of sauces (?)...and are not perturbed if u wanna mix and match ur flavors.
i went with "hot," "chipotle," "teriyaki," and "parmesan and garlic." those probably would NOT have been my first choices, but i was sharing a 24 piece bone-in combo with a pal who does not share my passion for spice.
despite that my usual flavors were not the ones ordered (i would have gone "fire" most definitely), the wings were reeallllly good!
the parm-garlic was super flavorful, yet a bit of an overload....the table liked those the best (myself excluded).
the other wings were perfect; traditional flavors and styles that made me sad that we dont have places like this here in LA...i know, i know...we have Wing Stop, etc. ....but there is something about the atmosphere and the vibe of a place like this and in this locale that made it even more tasty.
basically, what i am saying is......
if u like wings, variety, and good beer, come here. Buffalo's really and truly delivered.

How the fart is this place open? The farting food is as bad as it gets. The stupid farting people that give the horrible farting food a good must had been drunk out of their minds before they ate it.
The other night I went here with some friends, after deciding I could not choke down anything at the awful pizza house again. I have been here before, but it had been about 4 or 5 years, so I thought it could not had been as bad as I remember, but I was way off. First of all, it is like walking into the movie Idiocracy. It's an arena of giant T.V.'s with a slam dunk competition on. where some jack hole dunks over a car and the drunk morons go crazy. So I get a beer.....OOOOO they serve beer, how special! Then I tell the waitress "I like beer" and goes to a computer, pushes a button and someone brings me one. Then I say "I like food" and she asks "what flavor goo do you want on top?" I ask for a recommendation and she says everyone prefers the honey bbq goo. So she pushes another button and brings me some food. All the food is garbage covered in a goo. It's all cheap food too. Chicken is under $1 per pound, potatoes are about $0.10 per pound. No steak, or reasonable seafood (the shrimp they serve is not reasonable.) At this point I wish I had a gun to put to my head, if this place can be so popular it has locations all over. I asked someone what makes this place so good, they told me "the goo has what morons crave, they have beer and you cannot look anywhere without seeing a T.V. in case a self made thought tries to enter their head it can quickly be rejected. -

My burger wasn't cooked as I had wanted... the manager noticed my discontent and came over. He immediately took my burger away, brought me some fries while I waited for the replacement and then offered us free desert.

Mmmmmm wiiings....
It's hard not to love a place that serves delicious wings with a gazillion sauce options, yummy potato wedges, ice cold beer, and TVs in every nook and cranny of the venue! They definitely know how to pack the place for special sporting events and hold sporadic wing eating contests (after partaking in one myself, I had to down nearly three pitchers of water and rub ice cubes on my tongue for 30 minutes to get rid of the burning sensation that ran from my mouth down my throat). Oh, but it was well worth it! -

Bad service hinders their very tasty wings. I love their wings, it's hard to find better wings. And it's fun to watch games there if you can get there early enough to find a seat. But I've had numerous bad experiences there. Once I asked for a refill from the server and twenty minutes later it was not refilled. When she finally came back, I asked her again and she said "you know our fountains are right over there". My response was "then what hell is your job?" She lost about $10 in tips from my group right there, my tip was $0.01. Other times I've just gotten snide comments from the servers. So while I enjoy the food, it can be a frustrating experience. But hey, if the waiter/waitress treats you bad, at least your meal costs less.

Oh man, how I miss my college days and Tuesday nights here. I remember taking full advantage of Wing Tuesdays and Leg Wednesday and whatever day they decided to throw on there. The wings are a toss-up: some days they're really good and moist with just enough sauce, and other days they're overcooked and dry and oh-my-god-that's-what-I-ordered. But even on a bad day, the wings were decent. During the weeks when I was waiting for my paycheck, I would order a whole bunch of wings on Tuesday and make it last till *next* Tuesday by eating wings with a side of rice and steamed veggie (asian style, baby). For getting me through my broke periods, I thank you B-dub. The 5-star is well deserved. Oh, and the margaritas and daiquiris are pretty good, too :)

BWW is a good place to watch the game with a group of friends (if you can manage to get a table) and eat some finger foods. I feel like some of their entrees and appetizers are overpriced. The only thing that might be reasonably priced are the wings. Sometimes the wings are delicious, and sometimes they're all bones. Usually they're ok. They also serve beer and I think some mixed drinks so it's not too bad.

This place is always busy. It has reasonable drink specials and great T.V. viewing. I don't think the food needs to be explained because if you don't know what the scoop on B-dubs is yet then you probably can't read this anyway.

Wings are hit or miss here, like many people already commented, they can be good if you get them fresh, or "vile" if you're unfortunate and get an older batch. The service is really the reason for the low ranking, because every single time I go to the A2 B-dubs whether its busy or slow I have a hard time placing my order if I sit down to eat. The take-out service is good with their buzzers, but for some reason when I eat the food there, the waitress' are few and far between and I have to repeat my order more than once. If you are a wing addict then I would say go there for that, but if wings aren't your thing I can't think why you should go to B-dubs in A2.
