Not sure why there are so many bad reviews!
I LOVE ALL THE FLAVORS FOR THE WINGS! ASIAN ZING and MANGO HABANERO MY FAVS!
I am a student near here so sometimes it's just fun to just pop on by to a local joint and just be loud and crazy. PLUS, so much better than campus food.
Not a big fan of the other foods there but wings are definitely awesome!
I love the ambiance of this place. It's so fun!
Me and my friends always have random cravings for these wings! -

Great wings and sauces!
Quesadilla wasn't the best.
Service is friendly and efficient.
The Corona I had was not fresh.
Would recommend, and will return.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Corona, NY
For starters don't let the name fool. we all assume that a wings place would have great wings ? in my experience that was not the case here.
they have a good selection of sauces but the wings lack flavor. parmegan garli & spicy garlic where 2 of the better ones as long as they were covered in sauce.
the asian zing, honey bbq, teriyaki & hot flavors were ok.
fries were good nothing special. to me the best thing was the parmesan garlic chicken flat bread pizza.
the service was fine, food seemed to come out quick enough. as for the place & decor it resembles more of a sports bar than restaurant. there is seating on one side for groups or if u would just rather sit away from the bar area which is kinda loud due to the sports they showcase on the big screens.
overall not a big fan of the place simply because the wings are not that great. -

I love the buffalo ranch chicken wrap but the quality has really gone down a lot recently. They still have good drinks and wing specials though so it's a good place to watch a game.

Review from Picky E.
Stony Brook, NY
i ordered unsweetened iced tea and a buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. i am kind of a jerk (picky beyond reason). i ordered mine with NO ranch and no swiss, extra hot sauce on the side. It came with fries, i normally dislike fries but these were actually good. they were excruciatingly hot though... as a mother with 4 small kids, i am not used to eating food that is warmer than room temperature so maybe that is why i though they were unnaturally hot. the chicken was moist inside, crispy on the outside and not greasy. i will definitely return for more! i love that they have dozens of variations on the sauce.

It was a good place to watch the Giants Game.
The food was just okay. Out of the 3 flavors wings we tried only one was good. the asian zing and the spicy garlic wasn't that great. Didn't taste much garlic...i expected better. the Blazin was the only one that my bf and I was happy about. We end up ordering more of that because my bf like it so much and dislike the asian zing the most. the fries tasted like it was old from the previous day that they just reheated. -

With a name like Buffalo Wild Wings you should expect amazing wings but unfortunately that is not the case here. They have an amazing selection of sauces to choose from but what's the point if neither the sauce or wing is tasty.
The service here is hit and miss. For the most part the servers are good and food comes out quick.
It can be a rowdy place but that's the whole fun of it. If that's not ur scene this is not the place for you.
Can't say much about anything else on the menu. The burgers are ok, the nachos could be better, and the flat bread is ok. If you come here it's to drink and watch a game. -

This review is strictly on the food. We got takeout last night since my in-laws are not going to come in to a noisy place like this. It also doesn't help that we are not sports fans rooting for the teams people who go here are rooting for. I imagine if we were, it would be a different experienced. I'd seen signs for this place & thought the menu might be good so we finally decided to try it yesterday.
That turned out to be a mistake. I got chicken fingers, fries and had some chips and salsa along with a parmesan garlic boneless wing. My stomach ended up killing me afterwards but I think this may be due to the fact that it can't handle tons of grease, I normally eat at home and the food at most chain places makes us ill.
The price is also way too high for what you get. I think I'll stick to Wing Stop. -
Review from Stefan W.
Really mixed reviews, and I think there's truth in everything. With a place like this, either you're a fan, or you're not. If you're into a "local" feel, then the chain-elements of BWW will turn you off. If you "live by your wings", then maybe you'll find these a little on the small side. But here's what I like about the place:
1) Bartender. I don't know him/her, and wouldn't recognize them if I saw them. I don't sit at the bar. But my drinks come from there, and they are SOLID pours. I like to drink J&Gs, and I get my money's worth, every time. These are not weak drinks. I don't order fancy stuff off the drinks menu, but my wife does, and she enjoys them.
2) Sauces. The flavors are good, varied enough to be interesting, but not so many that you don't know what to order. I really like the dry-rub options too - makes for a nice crispy wing. Try the Desert Heat - very tasty.
3) Nachos... Now - these are not "fancy" nachos, but I have a love/hate relationship with this app... Many places use much better "quality" toppings, but they never put enough on, and you're left with a mound of dry chips. What I like about the ones here, is that there's stuff on 'em beginning to end, and you're not hunting around for something to put on the chip. Tasty, satisfying, and priced decently.
4) Kid Friendly - It's loud enough that if you have a few kids with you (and they're not being insane brats), you won't disturb people near you, and there's plenty on the menu that they will like to eat (cheese sticks, chicken fingers, etc). They also really enjoy the NTN trivia games (truth is, my wife and I kinda have fun with that too :)
Plenty of TVs so whatever game you want to watch, you can catch. Service is usually attentive and quite good (though there are the occasional brain-dead servers, but you get anywhere you go these days)
So make up your own mind, but IMHO, these are good, tasty, enjoyable wings in a setting that's lively and entertaining. Still, not SO loud that you can't have a nice private conversation. -

Ridgewood, NY
OMFG LOUD! Quiet the hell down! And this is just from being in there for 5 minutes to pick up food, which turned out to be horrible. It gave all who ate it stomach issues. Also, the spicy garlic chicken was all spicy and no garlic. So, there's another chain to never go back to.

Manorville, NY
Could possibly be my favorite restaraunt of all time.
LOCATION: It's right on 25A in the shopping center across from olive garden and Wal-Mart. It's also right near the Smith Haven Mall.
DECOR: Very casual/sports bar place to eat. Basically a big room with a bunch of tables/booths. Big screen TV's on the walls with either sports or trivia games you can play at your table which is fun. Loud music, usually radio stuff (pop/hip hop/rock).
FOOD/DRINK: The food here is exactly what the name says, wings. They do have tons of other things to choose from, but their main focus is their wings (which are delicious). Asian zing is my favorite flavor of sauce, although I have heard that their carribean jerk, mango habbenero and honey bbq are very tasty sauces too. Their fries are pretty good, very similar to mcdonalds (thin cut, salty, cripsy) They have good salads, especially ceaser. Their chili cheese fries, queso and chips and their burgers are all pretty good too. The food is pretty cheap which is nice and you get decent portion sizes. The drinks are priced good too. Their blackcherry mojito is great drink to try!
SERVICE: If you go with a big group of people (5+) expect to not get your food all at once and to be missing one or 2 things (I always go with around 8 people and usually half of us will get food and the rest of us have to wait a few more minutes before we get ours).. -
Review from Manny T.
Garden City, NY
Mediocre chain restaurant. Overpriced small wings redeemed somewhat by decent sauces. "Blazin" is the hottest, but not as ass-kickin' as many local joints (see Tennessee Jack's http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
The crowd makes you feel like you are in a douche-bag dugout, a jerk-off jockocracy.
In a way, it is an amalgamation of everything that is wrong with America, a homogenized experience meant to provide just about anyone with an inoffensive but forgettable evening, totally devoid of soul. -
Review from Douglas L.
Farmingville, NY
This meeting place for friends, my group of seven sat quickly at 9:30PM. I counted 20 staff on duty.
We each were able to order separate flavors in groups of six. Tuesday night advertises 40c.pear wings, and large coors beers were 3.75. Only sports on TV's there is one in every periphery no matter which direction your head is turned.
The immediate feeling was like visiting a bar from out of state and it was a bit cramped. No real booths to sit in. The room had tables freestanding with small chairs (I'm very brawny). Between them there was about two and a half foot clearance you needed to share space with the neighboring table. A table with a children's highchair blocked the isle way.
The food took a while to come out. Average 12 wings per person times seven people = 84 total wings. Then divide these by orders of six and ten or so flavors and you get 14 different plates.
House salad had the ingredients but came out with a salad dre
Another math equation Divide the total wings by two and you get the number of chickens... 84/2= 42. -

Long Island, NY
I'm unsure about the bad reviews here, I had a great experience!! I never knew that there was a B-Dubs on Long Island, so I was absolutely ecstatic when I realized there was one within driving distance of my house!! The place was PACKED, but my boyfriend and I were seated right away. Our waitress was SO nice and chatted with us for awhile. We ordered a Chilli Cheese Fries appetizer and 24 wings in four different sauces. 24 boneless wings for $17 is a steal in my opinion. The food was delicious, and our waitress was on top of everything. You really can't expect too much going here, it isn't a fine dining restaurant, but the food is good and the atomosphere is relaxed. I'll for sure come back, I love their wings.
p.s. I see many complaints about getting silverware, when you order your food ask for the silverware if there's none out, logical. I do this everywhere I go if there's nothing out - problem solved! -
Review from Doug G.
Kings Park, NY
I'm trying to un-cloud my judgement of Buffalo Wild Wings because I enjoyed myself there, but it was MOSTLY because I went with good, fun-loving people. The atmosphere at BWW definitely breeds a good time. It's just that the food is nothing to write home about.
First off, a $12 bucket of bud lights isn't really a good deal. There's more beer in a pitcher, and if I was paying $12 for a pitcher of bud light on draft I would feel I was getting ripped off (I know a place were I can pay that for freakin' Blue Moon).
The food was too bland for my liking. I got some BBQ chicken wrap thing, which was edible, but relatively small and there was nothing that stood out about it. The nachos came out, the cheese was barely melted, and had the bare minimum of toppings.
I will say this, it's definitely a great place to watch a ball game, but there's a million of those kind of places on the Island and you definitely don't need to give that type of business to a national chain.
Solid 2.5 stars, rounded down. -

Nice selection of beers and the wings are pretty good. Good place to go to put a few back. The rest of the food is nasty though, greasy and food food like. Worst. Pulled. Pork. Ever.

Review from Max M.
Rocky Point, NY
Well...definately not a fan. Chain mentality, chain food. The wings are greasy and saturated. The atmosphere is noisy, bawdy and fun if you're in college or looking for a LOUD night out. But the food leaves a lot to be desired. If Animal House slept with KFC...BWW would be the offspring

Review from ELITIA L.
New York, NY
New place, formerly the El Dorado, Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3 to the locals) is a corporate-chain wings establishment full of big screens Football Americano & young staff uniformed in jerseys. The wings weren't bad (@ $8.29 per doz.), with a variety of about fifteen sauces to choose from. I tried the Blazin', Carribean Jerk, and Habanero Mango. . . . The Blazin was where it should be, an extract sauce that was just hot enough, though the heat scale really should exceed that point for guys that are lookin' for a true psychoactive experience. . . the Jerk and Habanero were nice & flavorful, though easy on the burn. A large range of taps, $6 for 23oz. Blue Points, Blue Moons, Stella's, etc. Not bad, but not worth revisiting. All in all, you won't find me here again unless it's a Tuesday nite, when they offer forty cent wings.
Weak service and no silverware on the table, no matter what you ordered. -
Review from Jennifer M.
Long Island, NY
I thought this place was only in the midwest, so i was pleasantly surprised to find out there was on here on LI. Nothing to see here. Just don't go during a football game unless your idea of fun is waiting a half hour for a table amongst a bunch of dumb jocks in football jerseys yelling and screaming about nonsense. The wings are decent, but the so called "wild" wings which are supposed to be really spicy were actually not that hot at all. The service was average. Nothing to see here, move along.

Centereach, NY
Always a very good time at Buffalo Wild Wings. The food is always tasty and flavorful. Its definitely a good place to stop by for a quick, relatively inexpensive meal. As wella s to hang out and watch different sporting events. There's a a bar area as well with high seated tables and many different types of beer on tap or in bottles. But the real cruxt of this endeavor is in the name. Wings. Many different flavors of wings . Both traditional and boneless. This place rocks. I'm a fan.

Centereach, NY
This is the old Eldorado on middle country road in Centereach. I really wish Eldorado never moved because I think they had a much better menu than Buffalo Wild Wings. This place is always packed with the younger crowed because I think it took the place of Applebee's and TGIFridays. The only thing they really have going for them is the selection of wing flavors and sauces.
For this place to specialize in wings is seriously disappointing. The wings have to be the most meatless, dried out, cheapest wings a place can find. I also had the burger from here which tasted like burgers I have eaten in third world countries.
They do dress there low quality food up and appeal to the younger crowd but I wish it wasn't such a commercialized place and served up more quality than atmosphere. -
Review from Nerissa I.
New York, NY
I've been looking for a strictly wing place on the island for a while. I've been here twice and i like it. I can't say it's the BEST, but it satisfies my wing cravings and i walk out content.

Good lunch deals on wings. Quality varies greatly from visit. They're often undercooked, very small and not very hot. Sauces aren't bad, but they seem kind of sticky and "out of the jar" like. Fries are average but soggy.

Review from Billy T.
Freeport, NY
Took a while to seat the 4 of us and the food is so so. I agree you never get silverware and the service is a bit on the crappy side. But they did not rush us out of there even though it was the weekend. What I did like about this place is the trivia games I could sit there for hours doing that I would just want to bring my own food.

Good BBQ, Typical chain. Nice atmosphere for a game.

Great wings and sports bar, I wouldn't go here if you are looking for real food. Food is typical chain restaurant style, TV dinner level. They even serve it on plastic disposable plates.

Arlington, VA
I went here once when it first opened and I remember being pretty underwhelmed. But I just came back here with my fiance on a visit home and I liked it a lot more than I remembered. The boneless wings were delicious and our waiter gave us a good sauce recommendation based on our tastes. I had the pulled pork sliders and they were really good. Couple that with the Yankee game on TV and I was a happy camper. :)

decent wings. favorite is the parmesan garlic wings. usually go on thursdays for the 60 cent wings, you know when the small wings are kind of affordable. deffanetly a place to go with a group of friends and have a good night.
