I love me some wings. And this place fulfills my need for wings.

I love the setting and atmosphere of this place and the servers are great. Their wings are to die for. Note that their Asian Zing wings aren't spicy at all! One their menu they show it on the border of being spicy but it was not at all. It was really good but not something I would reorder again. I must try their habanero wings next time...

Wow, supposedly the biggest BWW in the country!

Yes, a fantastic 2nd floor that lets you see a huge amount of the sprawling OC, and it fills up to capacity often....250 people!!  They have heat lamps, a water/flame fountain made by an architect who also designed some of the Bellagio...and then went on to build missiles for Apple....or something like that.

But wait, BWW may be loud, and always with a cool crowd, but service did suck definitely on 5/8/12.

Did the "Blazing Hot Wing Challenge" in honor of a friend's bday, you know, typical "I'm young and stupid but invincible too!" type of stuff.  3 of us young guys....at least I think I'm young.

1st time I did this, I beat the time. Had a pic taken so I could go on the digital wall of fame (a series of random photos of other people who also completed the challenge), and got some ice cream (at my expense) and a free headband and coupon for 6 free wings.

    This time:
Complaint 1) no paper towels in men's restroom until one hour later
Complaint 2) no ice cream until 15 -25 minutes later
Complaint 3) no celery and carrots with the Challenge, though they are part of the other meals...not even for my friend who ordered the regular wings
Complaint 4) no official pic taken of the 3 awesome men who beat the challenge

Sure, there was a Laker game on, and it was fun to watch them lose like they could have almost won, but no excuses!

Come on BWW.  Your prices aren't nencessarily cheap.  You could at least provide the service better than a Denny's.

Came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. Both bf and i have never tried BWW but we were excited because so many people are always going out for the wings here!

So what's the big deal? We were unsatisfied. We got two different flavors: the traditional buffalo and the honey bbq. The flavor was there but the chicken was so small and dry. I love chicken but there's nothing I hate more than dry, tasteless chicken meat.

A BWW opened at the block, now known as the outlets of orange, so i asked if the bf wanted to give them a second chance. We both hesitated... But we figured why not, maybe we went on a bad night when we went to the one in Brea. Unfortunately, the wait was too long for our hungry tummies so we'll have to give BWW a second chance some other time.

We would much rather stick to wing nuts in costa mesa where the wings are big and juicy!

I hate the parking to this place but once you get through the doors and grab a seat in the bar area with a cold beer, all is forgotten about the stupid parking.

I tried the blazin' sauce once, oh that was too spicy for me. I like sticking to the wild sauce, the parmesan garlic and the spicy garlic is pretty good too. The mango habanero sauce is a little too sweet for me.

A great place to come enjoy a nice beer, some wings and watch the games. Awesome casual atmosphere. Thumbs up!

    Flavor it!

I've been here a couple time and a few times for pick up.  My favorites are the parmesan garlic, caribbean jerk, asian zing, hot bbq and blazin.  We even bought some of the sauces for the house.  The wings here are pretty small but not bad.

The service is pretty shit at this location.  They take forever doing everything and sometimes completely ignore your request.  The restaurant is huge and there is never a wait.  I like that there are plenty of TVs and its nice for groups.  It's a good place to hang out.

Bdubs! BWW! Whatever you want to call it. This place is the best Buffalo Wild Wings I been to, my second place is the one in Chino Hill, went there when I was in high school. Well this particular BWW has two stories which I thought was odd. The first floor is your ordinary BWW but when you go up the elevator that takes years to move from one floor to the second floor its a whole different restaurant. The second floor has  a full bar as you exit the elevator then as you head in the actual restaurant its outdoors with a fire feature in the middle which is pretty awesome, the music is blasting like a club at night time, which when i usually go.

The food is great here! The wings, fries, and wedges comes out piping hot which is a plus! I usually come in with a group of friends and order the 50 Traditional Wings(Mango Habanero, Medium, Honey BBQ, Desert Heat, Jammin Jalapeno) because it is juicer, 3 Basket of Fries (Super Crispy), 1 Basket of Wedges w/ Cheese plus our choice of beers mainly Shocktop and Shocktop Raspberry (Seasonal).

The service here is always great. The waiters are super friendly especially B.Flowers  he is our waiter most of the time we been there.

I love this place! Probably more for the atmosphere than the food though. Go upstairs to eat, its very pretty up there. Ive yet to have bad customer service but I avoid this place on Friday and Saturday nights because parking is horrible!! There is parking across the street but even then, good luck with that.

So far I've only liked 3 of the buffalo flavors. My favorites are the Spicy garlic and Garlic Parmesan. Also, try the basket of buffalo chips with queso cheese and buffalo seasoning sprinkled on to give it some kick. So good! -drool-
On certain days of the week they have cheaper wings so definitely look into that to get the most for your money.

Hubby I went here when Bruxie's line was waaaaaayyyyyy too long. First time here, and we are wing people (normally go to Wing Stop).

We ate downstairs, because we didn't want to be with the screaming and howling crowd upstairs (some love that, just not my vibe). Waitress was extremely attentive and nice. Loved all the TV's & the setup.

Hubby devoured the onion rings and I did too, but not after they cooled off. However the Fries with salt & vinegar seasoning were crispy and fantastic, even after they were cold. The wings were tasty & hot. We had the Asian Zing & the Spicy Garlic. We also had the Huckleberry Lemonade & Mango Lemonade & were surprised that we received free refills.

Pricewise this was better than Wingstop in my opinion - but not sure which wings I like better....but the sides are better here definitely, and the location is better hands down.

    Will definitely come back!

First off, I have to complain about the service. The fact that this place is practically a sports bar, and it's bound to be crowded when there are major games, such as the Lakers, the staff needs to be on top of things. I think we ended up spending 2.5 hours here, even though we ordered immediately, and eating didn't take too long. We should have been here MAX 1.5 hours. The check.....that took forever. Change? Even longer.

Maybe it's because I came here with a motorcycle group. I think our server may have been a little intimidated, trying to get everything perfect, without making these macho guys mad (even though they're all actually really nice guys),

My BF got winds, with the bone. He got the sweet BBQ and honey BBQ. He had complaints about one of the sauces, I think the sweet BBQ, and how it wasn't even sweet...basically failing to live up to its name. The wings aren't drenched in the sauce, like one would expect, so they end up being dry, after you've taken a bite of the skin. And he wished he would have gone with the boneless wings.

I decided to go with the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap, as I'm not really a fan of wings and it wasn't my choice to come here. It was OK, I woud suggest staying away from here. It reminded me of something I used to get from KFC several years back, just without the Buffalo sauce. It was literally tortilla, crispy chicken, lettuce, shredded chesse, buffalo sauce, and ranch, something I, a college student, could make if I went and bought a nice piece of crispy chicken from a fast food joint. I guess I shouldn't have had such high expectations, but I didn't think it would be equivalent to something you get at a fast food place. It comes with chips and salsa on the side. The salsa isn't the fresh kind that I like, it's the salsa that comes from a jar.

I'd say skip this chain, or at least this place, and find something better.

This place is meant for sports lovers NOT for food lovers. Then again if you love beer, they have a great selection. We went to watch the NCAA games on Saturday. I wasn't that interested in the games so was super happy to see a couple TVs devoted to pre-season baseball and my Cubbies were on the tube.

It wasn't my first time at a BWW so it wasn't any surprise to me what to expect. Definitely get the wings and try an assortment. Mango Habanero is the best with the heat and sweet. Gotta love it.

    I give this BWW a 3.

There was a waitress who had a massive attitude problem - which led me to check her, eventually lose my cool and curse at her then walked out.

The manager stopped me and offered me and my 2 buddies our meals on the house. I declined, but he kept on pressing for us to eat there to make up for the "bitch," who was rude and was seemingly arrogant.

The food was amazing, the management is amazing and took care of us "downstairs." I loved the manager (Easy on the eyes) ;)
The food was excellent but that one experience with that waitress has somewhat tainted me on this BWW. No matter what, and even though we got free wings it was our first impression and not a good one.

I'll try it again, and do an update review.

My brother and I sat downstairs at the bar. Happy hour is great but service sucks. The wings are good, especially the Mango Habanero and Asian Zing. They also have a wide variety of beers on draft :)

Definitely go upstairs.. after we closed our tab downstairs I wanted to check out what it was like upstairs.. turned out that upstairs was way more chill then downstairs.. it's a better atmosphere with happier employees.

Don't get the boneless wings! I'm sure the traditional are good, but the boneless wings are horrible. McDonalds nuggets taste better than these. The worst part is that they put a tiny amount of sauce on the "wings" and then they charge you .60 for more sauce!

I went with 2 other people during a slow period. There were probably 4 other tables. Although the waitress was very nice, the service was pretty bad. We continuously had to ask her over and over for things like napkins and water and when she came by our table, she had forgotten to bring the items.

It was also raining the day I visited. We asked a man who greeted us if the upstairs was open. He said it was open and all of the heaters were running. When we got upstairs, it was raining on all of the tables, so we were unable to eat there. I just thought it was odd that he would advise us to sit somewhere that was covered in water.

Came here in a group of 10 for some Thursday eating adventures.  We were seated in about 20 minutes on the bottom floor at a half booth long table thing.  For those of us that had never been here (myself included), I think BWW should have had more TV screens. ;)

Anyway, our waiter Paul was very attentive to our needs.  At the end of the meal, he split the check (without asking), so for once eating in a group wasn't a complete math headache (not that it still wasn't, but it was at least made a little easier).  He brought out more cups of water when he noticed some people's were running low.  He also noticed our interest in the trivia game that was playing on two of the many screens and brought out the controller keyboard thing to play.  You go Paul.  :)  So waiter service was very positive. :D

As for the speed of the food delivery... well that's a different story but I'll give BWW the benefit of the doubt because there were 10 of us and it did seem like a pretty big restaurant.  :)

As for the food itself, I didn't think it was anything special, but different strokes for different folks (but judging off of other reviewed places, I think we all know Brian's preferences of places to eat out).  I got the 8 boneless Honey BBQ wings (Thursday's only 69 cents per boneless wing!) so instead of it being like $7 it was more like $6.  No economic hardships today!  They were good.  I was satisfied.  :D

Ultimately, I would say it isn't about the food, but more the experience and socializing.  And if nothing else if conversation dies temporarily, you can just stare off into the many screens...

Here's what you do: Go upstairs. Get seated. Order the beer of your liking, some Spicy Garlic wings and Chipotle BBQ seasoned fries. You're set for life.

Careful when coming here during games though, it not only gets crowded but it get LOUD. If you get lucky you'll even get seated by a group of 4 girls there to "watch" the game who practically scream on top of their lungs about some outrageous "oh no he didn't" drama. People get rowdy and silly here so it gets pretty hectic but overall really fun environment to be in when you're out with your friends for a good time.

I'm reviewing again based on my Superbowl experience.

Patriots, Giants Game. Meh, who cares, but we still wanted to watch the game. No one wanted to volunteer their house so I called down to BWW. "Are you guys taking reservations for Superbowl?"

"Yep. Come down and we'll show you the tables and we'll get it set up. It's $10 a head but we only charge you if you don't show on Sunday"

Seemed fair. We reserved a big table and said we were shooting for about 14 people... they were fine with the ambiguous number.

We ended up in the cigar section on the upstairs patio. There were 12 of us, and I have to say, the service and staff were pretty awesome.

The place was packed, but they didn't book it as standing room only. Everyone there had their own seat, and Buffalo had plenty of staff to be more than attentive. Every time you were offered a refill, you got the refill. Every time you added to the order, it came out quick.

At the end of the night the bill came out and our server had proactively divided the bill into groups to the best of his ability. Gratuity was included and we just needed to circle our amounts and hand over a card.

I was impressed. The food was fine, the service was outstanding, and they made what could have been a hectic event into a very fun, peaceful one. Nice work, Buffalo.

overpriced, mediocre food and poor service -- that pretty much sums up my experience here.

    1) service:  one of my biggest gripes is when you get your food but aren't given any flatware or napkins. napkins are essential when you're eating finger food, especially wings, right? when i asked the server for some, he gave me a blank look and i think it took him 5 seconds to process my request. we asked another server & that request was forgotten as well.

    2) food: the wings at wing stop or hooters are defn better IMO. the wings here were under-seasoned and not hot, which made me wonder if they cooked it in advance and we got the last pieces from the last batch.  the hamburger was pretty damn small for $10 and also  bland. i was still hungry after our 18-pc wing order and hamburger, but didn't feel like paying more money for sub par food. that's pretty bad coming from a girl right? how do they manage to feed & fill up the big dudes that come here??

    3) ambiance: the place seems to have a good vibe (the booths inside have their own tvs, upstairs patio was cool) but i would rather take a stroll down the street to another sports bar that also has a good vibe but serves better food for your buck.

My rating for BWW is mainly for the environment of the place. My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here or with friends to just kick it and watch some basketball. I've only sat on the upper deck level is which is loaded with flat screen tv's, large and small booths, bar, fire pits and heat lamps, view, and hey you can smoke up there too!

I've came on weekday nights, and it has always been packed but I've never had to wait. Go during happy hour for for their wing specials Tuesday/Thursday. Lunch special of 10 wings and fries 12-3pm or something like that for $8 is a good deal too. Happy hour is pretty worth it, and there is cocktails on the menu too =]

So, the wings. I prefer the traditional over boneless. Asian Zing, Honey BBQ, Garlic Parmesean are probably my favorites. However! They are just OKAY. The flavor is just seriously whatever and I wish it were more spicy. OR i wish it would offer something that Wingstop is quite known for, dry vs saucy. Sure, there's a spicy level to all of their wings, but the spicy flavored wings are not that great in flavor at all. I've tried almost all of them and after about two, I am so sick of the taste. Order the potato wedges with cheese, yum!

I love the vibe the place gives. I'll be back for sure and quite often just not going for their wings.

    Buffalo Wild Wings! Hollaaaa!

Go with more than 4 people.... Well just don't be the first to arrive.

Drafting this review, my party of 6 is 40 minutes into waiting... And it's 11pm at night. Empty tables are everywhere but apparently they just don't seat people there.

Hostess pointed to an empty table that had just been cleaned off and said 5 minutes.....

20 minutes later.... LO AND BEHOLD! We got seated at THAT empty table.  Hostess?  1-star, for being there....

Server saved this place from a 2-star review.  She was nice and friendly and through a busy night, she got to our table in decent time.

Come here if you have good company and  dont mind  waiting for a loooooonngggggggg time.

    Server? 3-star. Average.

Experience? Personally prefer the BWW in Buena Park.

Hope you all have a better experience then I did on this trip.

Service is ridiculously slow for a Wednesday night. :/

My cousin and I had ordered a beer each and wings. The wings took maybe 30 or 45 minutes to get there, and they were small and gross. I think she got the mildly spicy buffalo wings, but either way, the flavor was funky, like eating spicy plastic.

She got a few more beers, and I've gotta say, the price for beer here is really cheap. However, the place is loud and crazy-crowded, filled with the type of people you'd like to have avoided in high school and college.

BUFFALO WILD WINGS BLAZING BLAZING WINGS CHALLENGE...YES!  I BEAT IT!  IT WAS A WALK IN THE PARK!

I wish that I could say that.  I FAILED!  Completely.  12 wings, 6 minutes was the deal.  No water, no napkins until you were done.  First wing done.  Tears started streaming down my face.  Onto the second one and my tounge starts sticking out.  3 minutes in and I only ate 2 wings. Deep breath.  I bite into the 3rd wing and call it quits.  Yes, i'm a quitter.  Even if I was able to withstand the fiery heat of the sauce that was smothered in chili oil, I was eating way to slow to finish 12 wings in 6 minutes.  My friend who did it with me finished it in 4 min and 20 seconds.  He made it look soooooo easy!

Other than the challenge, I did try other flavors.  Mango habanero is delish.  Spicy with a slight taste of mango sweetness.  If this wing was the challenge, I bet I could've beat it.

Service was great...big screens gallore.  This is the place to go if you love wings, beer and sports!

I really wanted to conquer this challenge but it defeated me.  I may have lost this one but there are many other food challenges out there.  I will win one, eventually :)

Ive became a big fan of wings ever since I started dating my boyfriend and we have been to almost every wing place you can think of. So when the one in Brea open up we were excited to try it out since they added two stories to the place.

We usually go to the one in Irvine and the service can sometime be really bad and busy. I was worried they would be too crazy and we would have to wait forever, But we didn't :) If your like me with no kiddies..I suggest you go upstairs. The elevator takes a while to come down but its worth the wait. There is plenty of seating and big flat screen tv's everywhere so any sit in the house it good. We sat near the street view and enjoyed the sun. I almost felt like i was over but the beach. The service was fast from the time we walked in. I love that the servers names are on the back of their shirts cause I'm always forgetting.

I know this place is still fairly new so will have to check it out again to see if they keep up with the service.

    No reason to love BWW.

The GOOD: TVs & TVs & TVs & TVs. - Great for sporting events
                       Ambiance - Lively & entertaining

The BAD: Draft selection - So listen. Just coz an establishment has a wider selection than Applebee's doesn't mean they can claim a wide variety. Mainly BWW serves the lesser known beers from nationally recognized breweries and world standards. I love Newcastle as much as the next person & that's why most bars/restaurants now serve it.
The UGLY: BWW Wings - I love wings, really I do. I particularly love HOT wings. The hottest wing selection hardly registers on the Scoville scale. And BWW wings are small & barely register on any weight scale.
Carrots & Celery - What kind of wing joint doesn't include carrots/celery with your order? - This crud hole, that's who. They have the audacity to charge money for this apparent luxury. Oh the humanity. The Buffalo Wing gods frown upon thee.

The SUMMARY - TVs are perfect. Fun ambiance. Beer selection is better that average but not up to par for true beer drinkers. It'd be more appropriate to call their buffalo wings, baby chick wings. They charge for basic buffalo wing accoutrements. And what's more their prices can hardly be considered "good".

I've been to BWW on several occasions and have been disappointed every time. The wings are just ok. They do have a variety of sauces, and if you really really like chicken wings, I'm sure you'd appreciate this.
Last time I was here I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and was thorought disappointed. The chicken was dry and I'm sure it was just a frozen chicken patty because it didn't taste fresh. For a sports bar type establishment I thought the portion size was a bit stingy but it wasn't a big deal because I'm not a big eater and it was nasty anyway. On the fried chicken sandwich, you can get any sauce you want. I got the medium buffalo sauce but perhaps that was the wrong choice. However my friends ordered different sauces and reported them to be mediocre as well.

The drinks here are just meh as well. I started with a house margarita which tasted like sugar water with no alchohol. It was only $3 so I shouldn't have set my expectations too high. I next moved on to a mojito. It had no fresh mint and tasted like it was just from a mix...again overly sweet with almost no alchohol.

The service was good. Our waiter was attentive and our orders came out quickly. But the quality of their food is quite mediocre. Unless it is for a special event, I don't see myself coming back. There are plenty of other restaurants and sports bars out there with better food and drinks.

This is one of the best places.  Special thanks to the staff, Erika and the Manager David who really made us feel at home.  Really great food, beer, and staff with an excellent environment! Thanks Buffalo Wild Wings, you have the right sauce! Highly Recommend!!!! Try hanging on the Terrace, nothing like it in the area.

This is a sports fan (read: guy)'s dream! Giant screens everywhere, showing different games from different sports everywhere. Came here for the Niners v. Steelers MNF game and it was packed!! Tons of people everywhere in jerseys, cheering, high-five-ing and generally having a GREAT GREAT time together.

The food was ok, but it gets the job done and pairs amazingly well with the beers. Go figure haha. I liked the mozzarella sticks and the wings. Nachos I would pass on (kinda soggy).

Would for sure come back for another sports game!

I love this place, and I don't usually like wings!!  This place is awesome in so many ways!
First let me start with the place it self. It has a fun and loud atmosphere. I would highly recommend sitting in the roof. The roof has a great feel to it, however there are some draw backs. Only sit on the roof if there is a couple of people in your party. It's super loud and it's hard to talk with a lot of people. Also, a huge let down for me, is they do permit smoking on the roof. It's a little gross to be inhaling second hand smoke as you eat but, alot of people are kind enough to go smoke around the edges of the roof. Also, if there is a big sporting event on TV the roof is busy, but if you want to watch an event in a sports bar like setting, it's perfect. Over all, the place is fun.
Now for the customer service. I've had great and I've had HORRIBLE. One time they brought out cold food and when it was brought to there attention, they MICROWAVED it. Umm, no thank you. Another time they brought my boyfriend and I onion rings and we started eating them and then a waiter came by and picked up our onion rings and said that he didn't mean to give them to us. Okay, that's fine. EXCEPT, he took them from our table and took the same onion rings to the other people. THE SAME BASKET OF RINGS THEY BROUGHT US. That's just not okay. I did send an email to corporate and they invited us back and were well taken care of. We have been back many times and received great service.
Most importantly, the food. I really like the food, and like I said before, I am not into eating wings. I always get a sampler plate and also some wings. I've tried the mild sauce, the teriyaki sauce, and the Asian zing sauce. All are very good. Before I discovered my love for there wings, I had the popcorn shrimp, It was alright. It does not compare to the wings, though.
Basically, If you want the ultimate experience, sit on the roof with some boneless wings and sample different sauce flavors. If you don't have an enjoyable experience they do have great customer service at corporate and they will listen to your concerns and work toward fixing them.

Came here only for the wings!  The honey bbq traditional wings were delicious and I savored it slowly.  My boyfriend had some kind of breaded chicken sandwich that had this thousand island kind of sauce on it which he shared with me.  It was good and it left him hungry for more so he ordered the boneless teriyaki wings which, regretfully, were not so good.  The teriyaki just tastes funny.

Our bill was surprisingly under $20. The wings were at 50% discount during happy hour!

Love the second floor seating around the fire pit to watch the game last night.  Good spot for that.  Note to single ladies, there were a LOT of guys there, but they may be distracted from watching the game and drinking with their Bros.

The service was good, but they were out of Stella AND Amstel on tap.  That seems like a slip for a game night.  I am not a fan of the wings as I am a 5 star fan of Wings 'n Things.  BWW boneless wings are too breaded and crispy.  Where's the meat?   But, it's good in a pinch and that's what I was looking for before going to the comedy club down the street.

I am somewhat torn about this Buffalo Wild Wings.  My first 2 trips were terrible.  Service was awful and I waited almost an hour both times for a simple order of 6 wings.  The waitress pretty much ignored us the entire time and no manger came over to apologize for the wait.  My parents also had a bad experience when they brought my dad the wrong beer.  When he let them know the mistake they told him he would get the beer on the house and they then proceeded to charge him.

The last time I visited, my friend and I wanted to know if they had the Roots channel so we could watch our college basketball game.  They didn't have the channel but proceeded to order it just for us.  The manager was attentive and we got our food in a timely method.  This experience was much better than the first two.

I am hopeful that I can chalk up the bad experience of my first two visits on the relative newness of this restaurant.  As time goes by and they work out their kinks, this Buffalo Wild Wings could be a great place to go catch a game and hang out with friends.

Food: Since I go to school around the area, this is the location of my choice. Every time I go I always order the wings, and I must say that they come out perfect all the time. The wings are fully dressed with the sauce and warm just the way I like it.Too make it even better they have deals like three days a week! Tuesday is .50 regular wings, Wednesday is Boneless or regular wings for .60 and Thursday is .50 boneless wings, what more can you ask for! I always get 10 wings and a order of celery on side all of this for about $7, that is definitely good news for a college student.

Service: Although food is exceptional, I have to say that the service is lacking. Food takes forever to come out, but I guess it is a fair trade off. The waiters are very friendly, but they take forever to bring what you ask for and they are never available when you need them.

Final Verdict: I am loyal customer no doubt, the food is good. I just wished that the service would match up with that.

Ok, I love love love Buffalo Wild Wings! I usually stop in at the one in Chino Hills, but I finally ate at this location for the first time and I was highly disappointed, not in the quality of their food, but in the quality of their service. The service can be described in one word: SLOW. I understand they were busy that night, but it took so long to get my wings that they weren't even hot anymore and I didn't have anything to munch on in the meantime as my celery sticks came AFTER my wings. Really? I didn't realize raw celery sticks required so much preparation...To top it off, I ordered boneless wings and therefore asked for a fork to eat them with, which I didn't receive until 10 minutes later...and the waitress asked how I was enjoying my meal...which I'd be able to tell her had I been able to eat any of it...

Anyway, I'm not going to allow one dismal experience to mar my impression of Buffalo Wild Wings, because hands down, they are my favorite wings. Absolutely delicious! Instead, I don't think I'll be returning to this particular location...I guess it's back to Chino Hills! (:
