I know the first question which will be asked when reading this review, why does a camp ground get 5 *'s? The answer is simple. I review based on how good something is at being what it is "supposed to be", and the Buffalo Chip is EXACTLY what it is supposed to be ... a biker's paradise.
Dirty, repleat with smelly men, 1/2 naked women, mud, harley's as far as the eye can see ... there is literally no place on Earth like the Buffalo Chip. Where else can you:
1) Ride your Harley up to the edge of the stage and watch an A-list musical act perform? Oh, and then instead of applauding you fire up the throttle.
2) Watch fire dancers in the crowd no more than 5 feet from you. Yes, if she lets one of those go you're going to be more than singed. Oh, and no one is complaining.
3) Enjoy a "burnout" every 15 minutes. Yes, just about every 15 minutes someone is burning out their tires on a large pedastol mounted in the middle of the campground.
Take note, although there are some families here, I wouldn't bring my kids as clothing really is optional. If you go, have a grand time ... but keep your head on and don't start any fights because ... well, no one is going to be able to save you here because there is no law.
