Buffalo Brothers is exactly what a sports bar should be. A long bar with several stools, a handful of tables, lots of tvs, and good ol' fried food. This isn't the kind of thing I frequently crave, but every once in a while nothing else will do but a Miller Lite and plate of wings. They have all kinds of greasy dining combos, like pizza, wings and beer; or wings, fries and soda. It won't be mistaken for fine dining or even fine drinking (pretty mainstream brews served here). As long as you know that going into, you'll be as happy as I was to pull up a barstool and pig out.

I wasn't there during a peak time, so I'm not sure how loud or crowded it will get when there is a popular game on, but I'll be headed back here for some March Madness.

It's been a whirlwind of a week: funny things happen to you when you spend your evenings slowly (yet elaborately) discovering the late nights of West DFW, and in this case, we found ourselves looking for a spot to unwind after a night of Yelp Drinking (caps intentional via the citywide HH), and what definitely seemed the correct vibe could have been some sort of campus friendly, roll up your sleeves joint with an amenable tap selection and a kitchen at the ready. There was hope but no promises.

Enter Buffalo Brothers, an already-a-little-sideways with the local campus crowd joint, easily navigated, bartenders at the ready, not so much bustling but full of regulars, a crowd that perhaps wasn't easily surprised but also wasn't much in the way of surprises. I opted in for a bit of BBQ chicken strip comfort food, and quite literally everything was A-OK. They're not re-engineering much here, but what they do they deliver with a smile and when you're so ready to relax, sometimes that's just what the doc ordered. That and some cold ones.

Buffalo Brothers has great wings and I have been here many a time. This last time the wings were way too done and dry.
I wish restaurants could be 100% consistent. If you cook it and screw it up.... Don't serve it!  Simple as that. Don't they realize one bad order of food has a good chance that customer wont be back .

It's a good college bar to chili after long day of work. I sometimes go there on Wednesday's for wing Wednesday where you get 10 wings for $5 and their wings are not bad. The service is alright but overall it's a great place to hung out.

Buffalo Bros is a great hang out. Good food, cheap booze, lots of TV's, great seating for groups, and the servers are always full of personality.

I am struggling about whether to give Buffalo Bros 3 or 4 stars, but I am settling on 3 stars because the food, while yummy, is not why you go to Buffalo Bros. For me, Buffalo Bros is a place you go to watch the game with a fun crowd, where it is not too crowded. Buffalo Bros is great for drinking a goblet of beer while eating bar food and catching up with friends. Buffalo Bros is definitely not a destination, but it is has quickly become a TCU institution and for that, I love it.

This is a great college bar.  Cheap food and drinks right across from TCU.  It's larger on the inside than it looks from the street.  Also note that there is quite a bit of parking in the lot behind the building and on the streets behind the building.

I was there on a Tuesday and all domestic bottle beers were $2 (great deal) and I ordered hot sauce chicken fingers for only $6 and the order was larger than I could eat myself.  My colleague had a pizza and it was also great!

This place is by no means a fine food experience, but a fun place to hit up in a college area.

The perfect student dive bar / eatery. The wings are great, and so are onion rings. Pizzas were a little heavy, and nachos a little greasy, but hey...

The staff was super-friendly, and accommodated a large group late at night. It was THE place for us to hangout during our week stay in Fort Worth.

I ordered 10 mild wings and they were excellent!  They don't bread them, which is a no-brainer in my opinion.  Sauce was well-balanced, not too vinegary and not too spicy.  I ended up ordering another 10!  Of course $5 for 10 wings on a Wednesday night was part of the incentive for that move!!  Service was just OK, but I was with a group in absolutely no rush.  Great atmosphere with plenty of TV's everywhere, although they wouldn't turn on sound of Sabres-Rangers game...

3 stars b/c of atmosphere, beer, wings & pizza. The other two are made up in service. Tonight (1/19/11), we had to wait ONE WHOPPING HOUR to get our ticket. Our beer glasses were empty for ONE HOUR.

This was our second visit to Buffalo Bros. If tonight went well, we'd make a weekly visit (our service last time was stellar). Too bad our server was too busy leaning on the bar and talking to one other table to notice our empty beers, shrugged shoulders and three attempts at verbally getting her stupid attention.

Not happy and sad to say it will be a while before we come back to this awesomely dark sports bar with yummy wings and cold beers. :( Service can make or break you.

I flashed back to my younger college days while grooving to Easy E. and eating really tasty mild wings tossed gently in a butter sauce. The side salad was tasty and for $4.00 you get lettuce and your choice of 5 items to add in.

Parking was wide open out front at the meters, maybe because we missed the lunch crowd by going a little around 1:00.

Once again, Yelp did right by me and directed me to a place I would never have found on my own.

Buffalo Brothers has great pizza and the very best wings.  Awesome place/atmosphere to watch a game.

The New Yorker (with shaved meatballs, onions, and jalapenos) is a damn fine pizza.  So is the Buffalo chicken pizza, although it is very, very rich.

And they have a great special that includes a slice of pizza, four wings, and a schooner of beer for $9.  For some reason that strikes me as a truly exceptional value.  Maybe I'm just cheap...

Best wings in town, hands down.  I live two blocks from a Wing Stop, but if given the choice, I will drive down to Buffalo Brothers.

The cajun is super hot!  As much as I love the flavor, it doesn't like me.  I always get an ice cold Rahr, some hot wings and watch some TV with the hubby.

Great bar, friendly service, kick ass food.

Buffalo Bros is a good restaurant for what it is. It's nothing to go out of your way for, but if you're feeling wings I don't see why you'd go anywhere else.
The boneless wings are large chicken strips with real tasty sauce. They could have more selections though; however, the ones they do have are good.
The pizza is all right but I'd stick to the wings.
    Also, choice selection of beer.

Buffalo brothers is a great restaurant near TCU. It is your typical pizza, wings and bar kind of place. They have a variety of weekly specials so check on their website to see what's happening that day.

The wings are fantastic and the pizza is really good too. They have a daily special that I can't seem to avoid: slice of pizza, four wings and a soda for $6.50. The subs are very good the steak & cheese is to die for.

Their desserts are pretty typical milkshakes, brownie dessert things but they are very good.

If you are interested in their lighter fare they have great salads and you can do a build your own sub with their Boar's Head deli meats.

Service is generally pretty good but expect about an hour if you sit down for lunch. If you are on the go they have a to-go window outside where you can get your food quickly. I recommend this if you need a quick bit to eat before class.

I've been to buffalo bros a few times. They have great wings and great lunch specials. I'm pretty sure they do pizza as well. It's small and almost on campus to TCU. It can get busy at nights, or game days. I'd go again but wasn't a favorite place for me. They have funny shirts though.

This place reminds me of the original Pluckers in Austin before the renovation. It's a small but cozy restaurant near the college campus. The bartenders/waitresses are mostly friendly student types and they offer decent beer specials. BB has a full bar but we usually just grab a couple of schooners after class. They have your usual wings/bar food: sandwiches, burgers, wings, pizza, fries, subs etc. Look on the back menu for specials that go something like $8 for 4 wings, slice of wings, and a schooner of beer. I would say this is my favorite spot that's walking distance from the TCU campus.

Out of all the restaurants on that block, Buffalo Bros. is the best. The staff is friendly and they always have a few cute girls working. Fun atmosphere to get a pitcher and some food and watch a game.

We had the bison burger and the fish & chips.  The burger was exceptional - cooked medium well.  It was very lean yet juicy at the same time.  The fish was also very tasty.  It's great to see some restaurants doing well on this corner by TCU that tends to have a high turnover rate of businesses.

Hooray for good wings!  Buffalo Brothers has much better food than the crap at Buffalo Wild Wings, and they have some great specials.  For $25 we got 20 wings, fries, and a pitcher of Rahr Oktoberfest.  I also tried a slice of their pizza, which wasn't that great, but it wasn't awful either.  Whenever I'm in the mood for beer and wings in Ft. Worth, this is where I'll go.

This wing/sub/pizza place located at the corner of TCU is an excellent place to watch a football game while eating good bar food with beer. Although I would like to see a Hotter wing...I did not feel that was enough to take a star off. The wings are good and the pizza is pretty awesome. They have specials which include pizza, wings, and a schooner of beer...enough said. Any place which had a schooner combined with there combo deserves a 5 star rating.

Great wings and pizza.  They have pretty good daily specials, and the drinks aren't price too bad either.  Great light atmosphere being right across the street from TCU, so you know it'll be a fun, either as a college hangout or a place to relive your college days.  Either get a table or sit at the bar, you can't really go wrong for a place to chill with friends, food, and drink.
