Review from Joseph D.
Dublin, CA
I took my kids (6 and 3) to this same track I went to when I was a kid in the early 80's. I hear there are several other go-kart tracks on mid-Cape now, but for me, this was the original. $6 for each adult, our kids sat in the passenger seats for free. The two seater cars were faster than the one seat cars. We had a blast.
Kids can ride with parents "as long as they can sit upright". Other go-kart places I've been to would not allow my 3 year old to ride as a passenger because of a height limit, so Bud's gets an extra star from me for being his first go-kart experience. -

For $6 you get around 10 or so minutes of driving around the circular track in a go-kart. They have singles and doubles. I believe you have to be at least 8 years old to drive your own, not sure if there was a height requirement. At least 16 years old to drive someone else.
This place is okay. I have really fond memories of coming here as a kid when my aunt would take me for a few days to stay at her house in Centerville. We would always go out and do fun things-the go karts being one of them.
Last week I came down the cape with her and we went here for old time's sake, and it wasn't as great as I remembered it, but then again the last time I came here I was probably less than 10 years old. The track is just a smallish circle/oval and the go karts are the same go karts I went in when I was a kid, and you can tell when you look at them, sit in them, and drive in them.
However, kids won't really care about that or think about it, and they will still love it-no matter how boring the track is or how old the karts are. All the kids there last week were super excited and looked like they were having a great time!
