This place is hidden. You wouldn't even think that there is a car rental place here, but there is and they rent trucks too. Well anyways, the place is run by a couple of Indian guys. If you're nice to them then they are great. I initially reserved my car through Costco and thought it was a great deal. The guy behind the counter was nice enough to check the current rates because he saw that I made the reservation like a month ago. It turns out that it was cheaper now then a month ago and without missing a beat he told me the new price.and threw me a free upgrade. I was like WTf? He said "we like local customers" I certainly wasn't complaining. Great place to rent if you're a local in San Mateo/Foster city area.

The best car rental experience we have so far! We rented an economy car from the Budget website for our 8 day vacation. When we got there, not to mention how fast and friendly service we received, the co-owner Shivam even uprated us a super clean and nice leather seats compact car Free of charge! We enjoyed the car so much and it made our vacation much fun and better! Thank you Shivam! When we rented a car with other car rental companies, they always hard sell their car rental insurance, but it's not the case with the Budget in foster city! Shivam just wanted us to make sure our insurance will cover the rental car and that's it. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back and rent a car from them again!!

Just rented from this Budget over the July 4th weekend and the new owner Drew can't be any nicer!!!!
Picked up my nice and clean and new (barely 5k miles) Ford Focus w/satellite radio on Friday afternoon w/in 5 minutes I arrive at the rental office. Drew is super efficient and get you in & out in no time. And he is also very friendly and easy to work with (unlike some CSR at the SFO location)! Definitely recommend this foster city Budget.
