I promised I would yelp my experience, so here goes. I'm usually pretty picky about how I want my hair to turn out, and I called them because I saw the reviews on yelp, and decided to give them a try. I called on Tuesday, and Amy happened to have an opening on Wed. Went in the morning, and although it's a tad difficult to find, Amy's directions were right on. So anyway, as soon as I walked in I felt at ease. It was cozy, warm and the young lady who greeted me, I think was Ashley was super nice. My appointment was with Amy and she was super nice too. I have to add this because I told Amy that it makes a big difference, if I walk into a salon and the stylists look like a hot mess, I turn right around and walk out. These ladies looked fabulouse and were really nice and helpful. My color and cut turned out way better than I could have ever imagined and I loved my hair. Will definitely go back!!!

I have super curly hair that is really easy to screw up and Amy did an amazing job!! Super decent prices for such a professional salon, too. Highly, highly recommend.

JAMIE is AWESOME! I used to go to salons in SF but moved to the Benicia area recently, heard good things about the salon and have been going there ever since. Jamie is great with cuts and color. She is very professional and does an excellent job. I am very picky about my hair and Jamie will really listen to your concerns and make recommendations so your hair looks it's best. The atmosphere is beautiful and everyone who works there is very nice as well. I highly recommend Jamie and the salon.

Ashley is an AMAZING stylist! You can tell she loves her job, and she's extremely talented. I'm so happy that I decided to try her out based on the other Yelp reviews. My haircut and color look so good!! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, and Ashley listened and asked questions, but wasn't too pushy about her ideas; she ultimately let me decide what I wanted, which is so important. And best of all, she totally delivered. Ashley is very personable, engaging, and easy to talk to, and the price was reasonable. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for my hair but Ashely at Buddahful. Note: they only accept cash and check.

Amy is the BEST!! She has the warmest personality and is so down-to-earth, all while being professional and always attentive, and she is the only hairstylist I trust with my *thick* curly hair--she makes my curls look fabulous every time. I recently decided to have them highlighted, and they have never looked so good. Amy gave perfect judgment in helping me decide just what would look right, and I walked out of the salon with hair that I loved. Especially to anyone with curly hair, I highly recommend seeing Amy. Plus, the salon is so pretty inside and hospitable. All of the staff is friendly, skilled, and try very hard to make their clients happy!

Amy is the best! I have been going to Amy for a long time for cut and color and I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Every time I go to see her I am thrilled with how my hair looks. You can really tell she is passionate about what she does. Amy is always up to date with the trends and is always educating herself with new upcoming tools and styles. I highly recommend Amy Pappas to anyone. She will always be my number one stylist.

Love it! Such a relaxing environment and a fantastic staff to go along with it! Ashley was incredibly professional and friendly. Buddahful and Ashley left me loving my dye job and I even went back for extensions! Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend any staff member, Ashley, Judy, Amy, Jamie, or Barbara to anyone!

I have been to several salons to just get a haircut and color I would be pleased with. Ashley, took the hi lights out, gave me a rich color and did an outstanding hair cut. I can't tell you how many compiments I received from my friends and co-workers. Thanks Ashley for making this old broad feel good about her hair. Like Arnold says, "I"LL BE BACK".

Amazing! Friendly does not begin to describe the staff here, and they are all super professional! Ashley did my cut and did an incredible job. Super reasonably priced, adorable location in Benicia, and wonderful customer service! I highly recommend this place!

Amy is wonderful with my hair color. All of the girls in the salon are lively and professional. Buddahful offers a very calm and relaxing environment. Everything is clean and tidy. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Love, love, love Buddahful & most of all - love Judy!! Judy's been doing both my haircut & color for a long time & she always makes me look fabulous! She is always friendly & professional. Her wonderful attitude is mirrored by the rest of the stylists there so it is always a pleasure to have my appt. The shop itself is beautiful and feels like a relaxing retreat. Highly recommended!!

This salon is as good as it gets in Benicia. Just some background, I have been to many salons throughout my life and this one has most of the things that are important to me. First, you first have to walk past the gate and down a long hallway, but as you round the corner, your see a beautiful salon through the doorway. You will immediately feel welcomed by the friendly staff who work there. That is something very important to me because I have sat in waiting rooms where I am ignored and felt like walking out. Anyway, my stylist that day was Ashley. I was in the mood for a big change and she was able to give me new vamp red hair replacing my boring highlighted blonde hair. Her knowledge of color is pretty amazing and she was able to transform me to a beautiful color in only a couple of hours. The other women in the salon are equally impressive and they seem to work together well. Anyway, give Buddahful a try and ask for Ashley, she always has a smile and she won't disappoint you.

Today was my best visit to a salon, EVER! Barbara did my hair. I have been trying to find someone for over 5 years who can do "random highlights" I like my hair to look natural and i HATE stripes. so far, no one has been able to satisfy my needs. I recently learned the look I liked is called "balayage". The last 2 stylists I have been to had never even heard of it. Barbara had taken a class on this, and although she didn't do it exact, she used foils and got the same results. She randomly went around my head adding highlights and lowlights. She was spot on with the color choices. I gotta say, she did this rather fast too, normally my visits take over 2 hours.. (half the time is spent explaining what i want, and correcting them as they go) I was in and out in a lil over an hour. She also did a great cut. Its nice to know this group of stylists have been together for awhile, so I probably wont have to chase her from one salon to the next.. I look forward to going back to her.
