4765 York Rd, PO Box 917This was always my favorite place to buy riding gear back when I lived in the area and rode.
They have (or at least used to) an upstairs area where you could buy used equipment, which was nice if you didn't have lots of money to spend or wanted to try something new.
I miss horses.
While Bucks County Saddlery is a hike from where I live, back when I rode horses, I found that this was the best place in the Philadelphia area to buy tack and other horse supplies, from trailers to barn supplies to riding apparel. I bought my Western saddle used from someone I knew in the Philadelphia horse community, but I went to Bucks County Saddlery to get my bridle, breast collar, bits, chaps, brushes, etc. etc. This place has everything, English and Western, and you can even order online if you can't make it up there. It's easy to get to, though. Just take 611 (York Road) all the way north from Philadelphia, and you'll eventually see a big white horse statue on the right. That's the saddlery. It's on the way to Peddler's Village. If you're into riding, check this place out. It's like a candy shop for horse nerds.
