Tom Buckley did the video for me and my wife. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we were with the final product. After going to a friend's wedding and seeing a "day of" video, I decided that we should have one too. It's nice to show your guests what went into the day, prior to the ceremony and reception.
Tom prepared a slide show and "day of" video and showed it to the guests at the reception that night. He gave us exactly what we asked for and we couldn't be hapier!
P.S. Please note that the only review that has given Buckley less than 5 stars is a guy who (by his own admission) didn't use his services. Please disregard Joe V.'s review. The review is completely baseless. Furthermore, this is yet another example of how manipulative Yelp's "filtering" process is. Tom Buckley has received nothing but 5 star ratings from all except 1 of his reviewers, yet the three reviews that were filtered out of his page were 5-star ratings and the only person who gave him anything less was allowed to stay on. How is that fair? -

My wife and I just finished watching our DVD from Buckley Videography! Holy smokes we are so happy we decided on Tom and his team to video our wedding last November of 2011!
From the first time we met, we easily got along with Tom. He understood that we were on a tight budget and offered a package that fit just right. He even agreed to shoot video and stills of a special barbershop session with my groomsmen and me getting our hair cut by Victor over at Sweeney Todd's in Hollywood.
Communication between us and Tom before and after our wedding was not an issue at all. Responses were professional, quick, and straight to the point.
Since we couldn't afford for our photographer to shoot my wife getting ready, Tom had his 2 videographers go capture that before the wedding. That was much appreciated because I really wanted those moments remembered for my wife.
As for the editing of the wedding videos, Tom had a few different styles for us to choose from. We chose Cinematic, to bring out Tom's creativity and artistry. If we wanted just "footage" of our wedding, we could've just had a family member go around recording our wedding, right? The beauty of Tom's movie editing, for us at least, was how he used the songs he asked us to choose for the video. He captured our style and the warmth that was felt by everyone at our wedding.
I can't recommend Tom enough to anyone looking for a great Videographer. We put most of our budget into our Photographer and Videographer, and after watching our wedding video by Tom, we KNOW we made the right choice.

Being on a tight budget, my fiancee and I were looking for the best bang for the buck. After researching on yelp and other websites, we came across Buckley Videography website and saw some of his work. Which was really really good.
I began to communicate with Tom to see what kind of packages he offers and how much they run for. The initial price for the videography package was on average with local competitors, and in my opinion worth every penny judging from the videos that he posted. But, to my disappointment, it was out of my price range. After letting Tom know that we were on a very tight budget, he worked with my budget and came up with a package that meets and exceeds all of my needs.
I cant wait to work with Buckley Videography on my wedding day and see the end result. -

We were referred to Tom by a number of couples that he had filmed their weddings and sure enough, once we met with him we realized how detailed oriented, smart and artistic he is. No wonder he's got such a perfect track record.
He was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. He explained in great details all aspects of Videography for the event and suggested many great ideas. We will definitely work with him again and refer him to friends and family. -

I saw the perfect yelp review scores for Buckley's Videography and figured I had to give him a shot for my wedding.
Before you read any further, you should know that I didn't wind up hiring him for our wedding. Still interested? Read on!
We were emailing back and forth just getting details and seeing what packages and options were available, so far so good. When I showed his reel and some of his videos to my fiance, she wasn't as impressed as I was. I suggested meeting him, and perhaps seeing the finished dvd product to see if she liked that any better. She agreed to this, and on Friday morning, I sent him another email requesting a meeting.
Unlike his previous emails which had response times of around 2 to 3 hours, He didn't send any reply at all. First thought that cropped into my head: It's the start of the weekend in Wedding season, he's probably preparing for a shoot. So I waited. And waited. No response Saturday, and no response on Sunday. When Monday evening rolled around with no response, another thought jumped into my head: Is this guy one of those con artists that take the down payments and run? There was a story on the news that we watched recently to that effect, so it was in the back of my mind. Why wouldn't he want to schedule a meeting?
So on Tuesday morning, I sent an email asking if he forgot about us, or simply didn't want our business. Tom responded back 34 minutes later apologizing for not replying to the email, he was with a client over the weekend. Also since we were giving him a choice, he chose the latter.
Of course, it didn't help my suspicions that he wanted to take our cash and not show up at the wedding. Could he have paid his friends for all those positive yelp reviews? Also, his excuse covered the weekend, but what about Monday? However, the biggest thing I took away from his email was that it took him over 4 days to reply with helpful information, but only 34 minutes to write a snobbish reply. To which I say, 'Good Riddance!'
Buyer beware.
To sum up:
Amount of time to respond to an email requesting a meeting: 4 days (with a prompt)
Amount of time to write a snarky email: 34 minutes

My wife and I were very fortunate to have found Buckley Videography to film our wedding ceremony and reception. From the first time meeting with Tom we had a good feeling. Tom was very professional and offered us several different packages and seemed to have a great amount of experience.
On our wedding day Tom was barely noticeable while still being able
to catch all of our special moments.It was very clear that Tom knew exactly the best angles and shots that were going to make our day very memorable. Tom was there for our initial photo shoots till almost the end of our reception. We couldn't have asked for a more professional videographer to work with.
After the difficult task of choosing our songs were very excited to see the final product. Once we got our wedding video we were amazed!!! The editing was great and our songs of choice were timed just right. My wife is a USC film major and she was impressed with the expert and skilled editing of our final footage. Tom was also very helpful when we unfortunately lost our raw footage video and he was able to send us a new copy right away.We have shared our video with all of our family and they are all very impressed.We feel so lucky and would highly recommend Buckley Videography for whatever special moments you want to remember forever.

Buckley Videography was an absolute joy to have video our wedding. From the first meeting, Tom was a very personable guy who had the experience to go through our options for our wedding video. He provided us with great options like doing our slide show and same day edit of our wedding that was shown at our reception as well as a well done documentary style video that was edited wonderfully and told the story of our wonderful day. He did all this at a very reasonable price.
Months later we still watch our wedding video and are so happy we went twith Buckley video. He gave us a DVD and Blueray version of the wedding which captured everything we wanted and also included a short 4-5 minute music video that summarized our wedding nicely. He also gave us all the raw footage and it was great to see all the things that we missed during our wedding uncut.
Thank you Buckley Video for putting together a memorable video we will cherish for the rest of our lives. -

Tom and his staff did an exceptional job on our wedding video. It was everything we wanted and more. They are professional, reliable, creative and worth every penny. We almost decided not to have a videographer because we were over budget. I can not express how thankful we are that we decided to do it. Everyone says that it flies by and I didn't believe them. Man oh man did it fly by! I only remember bits and pieces of the entire day and was sad the next morning because I couldn't remember the things I really wanted to. I was anxious to watch the video just so I could relive the moments with my husband and see how beautiful and memorable everything truly was. Another plus, Tom and his staff were invisible the entire time. We didn't even notice they were there, they fit right in. I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

"Woohoo! As good as it gets!" is exactly how I would describe Tom a.k.a. Buckley Videography. I used his services for my wedding in 2005 and he did such an amazing job. I watch my video all the time. My husband and I started our own wedding stationery company and have referred several couples to Tom who have ranted and raved about their videos. HE IS THE ONLY VIDEOGRAPHER I HAVE RECOMMENDED IN THE LAST 6 YEARS! As a customer and wedding vendor I hold a HIGH respect for Tom and what he does creatively and as a business owner. He gets our vouch and that doesn't come very often!

Buckley Videography ROCKS!! We worked with Tom and from the get go we felt at ease. Once we saw some of his work there was no doubt in our minds to sign with him. We were married in 2003 and now more than 8 years later he is STILL there for us and our go-to person for videography!
We always recommend to our friends who are hesitant about allocating budget towards a videographer to bite the bullet and do it! Cut away from the flower budget if you need to because flowers die but a video is forever!
Now I have two beautiful girls who love to watch our wedding video over and over and over... and over again. I don't mind. :) They watch it so much that the DVD ended up getting scratched up from their little hands handling it. So I turned to Tom for help. After all these years, he is still there for us and REMEMBERS us!! He has worked with hundreds (thousands?) of brides and he still remembers US!?!? Goes to show how personable he is. More importantly is the fact that he is still around. He is a staple in wedding videography here in SoCal. He is here to stay and in the wedding industry that means a whole lot!
Thank you Buckley Videography for our amazing video!! I still tear up when it's on. Your amazing talent to capture all the precious moments of the day is remarkable. Tom is simply a videography artist and the best part about him is he is one of the most down to earth geniune people you will meet in the wedding industry. I was very grateful that Tom was willing to meet me and my groom at (his) recommended wedding florist. The florist I ended up hiring was kind enough to share with me his wedding video that Tom filmed and needless to say, there wasn't much of a doubt that my fiance (at the time- now husband) and I were going to hire Tom's company.
A few recommendations to future brides/grooms that I wish I had told Tom to do: make sure to give him (in advance) your detailed schedule/itinerary for the big day. We were so busy with other aspects of the wedding, we forgot to tell Tom the timelines for both of us getting ready. My husband wasn't able to have himself featured in the getting ready clip as a result.
Thank my lucky stars for Wedding Wire and Yelp. After reading other brides and grooms' reviews, I felt pretty confident this would be our wedding videography team. My husband and I just watched the video. AMAZING! We can't thank Buckley Videography for the beautiful video and memories they captured on our wedding day.
7 Reasons to Hire Buckley Videography:
1) Tom is personable, kind, professional and easy to work with and has a great sense of humor.
2) He is probably the best wedding videographer in the Los Angeles County.

Tom is absolutely fabulous! A friend referred me to him when I was planning my wedding, but after seeing the prices, I was hesitant to contact him. I was only planning to spend around $1,000- $1,500 for a videographer since I already hired an awesome photographer.
However, Tom emailed me and was willing to work with me in terms of budget. After seeing his sample works, I knew immediately I wanted to use him! AND, i wanted the SDE (Same Day Edit)...if you have it in your budget, you MUST get this. Hell, it wasn't even in my budget to use Buckley Videography but I realized that once I saw his work, it was something I needed at the wedding. Plus, Tom is such a nice guy!!!
So far, I only saw my SDE since the wedding was a week ago, but EVERYONE loved it and kept complimenting on his 3 min clip of the ceremony. I can't wait for the actual video in a month! -

Tom is really awesome. He was one of my favorite vendors to work with. He is very kind and professional, and worked within my budget. At first i was hesitant to spend additional money on a wedding video, but I think it's worth every penny! He did a wonderful job editing the video and I asked him to add in an additional slide show, which turned out GREAT. He truly captured all of my special moments in my wedding!!! My family especially enjoyed the 3-min highlights and sent it out to all of our relatives and friends. They love it!

FANTASTIC! I CANNOT say kinder words about this man. He is AMAZING. His talent and work obviously speaks for itself but on top of that, he's actually a GREAT guy. Totally reasonable and willing to work with you and your budget!! What more can you ask for.
The Fiance and I actually weren't even planning on hiring a videographer but after seeing Tom's work, we had to meet him and now he is the first vendor we have booked! So excited for our wedding day.
You won't regret it ladies. He loves what he does which can only mean a wonderful wedding video!
