    my adventurous 12 y/o daughter and i just got back from a whitewater rafting trip down the rogue river in oregon.  we stayed the night before and the night of our return at the buckhorn mountain lodge.  what a great find!  lynn and will, the hosts, have built a beautiful, small lodge with multiple independent quarters on a breathtaking piece of property.  we stayed in the bear paw tent cabin.  it was spectuacular, comfortable, light and airy with two canopied queen beds, a porch with a swing and a separate sitting area.  elegance in the forest!  lynn and will are excellent company and lynn's breakfast was beautifully presented in the main house and scrumptious to boot.  a private multicourse gourmet dinner in their beautiful dining room can also be arranged for a minimum of 8 people.  lynn was flexible and had breakfast ready for our crack of dawn departure and even offered to drive us  to the meeting place for the river trip.  we enjoyed ourselves both before and aft r our 4 day rafting experience by relaxing in our beautiful tent cabin, playing pool, wandering the grounds picking blackberries and watching the deer!    we'll be back!  http://www.buckhornmou...
