Pizza at this place was just average...not too impressive over your common Pizza Hut and Domino's choices.
However, the cheese did taste like it was fresh out the cow and the crust was, well....crusty and delicious.
Still wasn't enough to have me begging for more, though. Seemed like something was missing to make my medium $22 pizza more enjoyable.
Wow, $22. Just thought about that one... -

Yeah, I'd say this place can't get higher than 3 stars at this point. The service was slow and the food is average at best.
I had the stone-whatever garlic shrimp. It was pretty OK, nothing spectacular. It was soaking in tons of garlic and butter which is alright. It probably wasn't the freshest of shrimp but it was still good. The bread (read: dough balls) they serve with this appetizer could be left off. They were done but just smothered in this garlic and cheese spread that was powdery dry. It was probably the only thing that would have provided any flavor for the dough balls. Just not good.
I then had the tilapia for my main course. The fish itself was tasty. Tilapia is an extremely mild fish so even if you don't typically like fish, tilapia is a good way to try. This dish was a little to lemony/capery for my taste. While the fried fish filet on top was tasty, the linguini was a little much for my taste.
Those two items and a coke cost me nearly $29. I didn't feel like it was a $30 meal.
The atmosphere is modern and clean. Our waitress seemed nice enough though a little uptight and way slow on the service.
Overall, the place is not bad, it's just not that great. -

All I can say good about this place is they have cheap beer. The food though, @#%*ing horrible!
How can you mess up wings? Well they did. The wings were the worst I have ever had. Man they sucked. They had like no sauce on them at all and were baked instead of fried. The pizza was a whole other level of bad. First off I paid 3$ to add prosciutto, and instead my pizza had thick chunks of ham on it! I was like wow! I will never return here and would not recommend anyone looking for good pizza to do so either. Pizza hut, papa johns, or little Caesars will save you $ and time and taste better. In my book that means this place is the worst. -

Went in for take out. While I waited the staff was very friendly. The setting is very cool. Looking forward to my cheese, green pepper, mushroom pizza.
We had to wait for a while but the TV's and live music made the time go by. That being said it was pricey for the quality of pizza. -

Went for the first time today and ordered a "Build Your Own Calzone" with shrimp, cilantro, bacon and black olives. The calzone was huge and ended up being super tasty. The marinara sauce was great and the bread portion of the calzone had a great texture.
-1 star because the food took quite a while to come out.
-1 star because, while a nice guy, the server was a bit inattentive. It didn't appear to be just mine either but all of then.
Verdict: Stop by at least once, unless you're in a hurry. -

This place has potential, but clearly poor management. The "open kitchen" experience misses the appeal if there are cooks in the kitchen with long hair and no hairnets or hats. The host, nice as he was, should not be trying to hide eating at the door in-between guests.
The physical atmosphere is very nice. I was there on a Sunday and a weekend buffet was offered that looked like "cream of walk-in"...just clearing out leftovers. The horror.
Opted to order pizza. My guest enjoyed his pizza...a meat lovers type pizza. I tried a bite and it was tasty. The crust was good as well. I ordered a pizza with duck confit and I can assure you it was neither proper duck confit and most likely not made there. Very disappointing. The best thing I had was the Caeser salad and garlic rolls, which is a sad state of affairs. Nice, but I didn't come there for that. Both of us ordered an Arnold Palmer drink (half lemonade/half un-sweet tea) and were appalled that the lemonade tasted like Country Time Lemonade drink mix.
I truly want the place to be better, but right now, it needs work. For now, I'll make all of the above at home and get a much better result. -

We had the Artichoke dip with white and wheat bread 'pizza twists'. Great bread, crispy enough on the outside and soft in the inside. Great atmosphere, for casual dates or family gathering. Dim lighting but good for a great meal.
Had the Build your own pizza, white regular crust. Sauce has a kick of flavor that was perfect.
Sweet tea was ok- not sweet enough for me.
Otherwise, a great eat, across from the Mall of Georgia. Good priced. -

Good pizza and bruschetta! Decent service, cool atmosphere. Terrible lighting in the bathroom, it was so dark I couldn't tell what color the walls were!

Hate to be critical but nothing special. Our server dissapeared into the bathroom and did not wash hands according to my friend who was waiting to get in after him. But, that was just my experience the last time I went. The food is blase.

Whoa. It seems as if the owners want to imply quality with the "Buckhead label". Falls short on quality and combination of ingredients. Very overpriced. It is an outfit that tries to be something it is not. Pass on it.

My husband and I have gone here a couple of times and it's become one of our regular places to eat. Their pizza is really good (not greasy like some other places) and I really like their flatbread. Their Greek salad is excellent. I love coming there on Friday nights and Saturday nights and listening to the local bands. Definitely a relaxing/chill kind of place.

I have been here several times and each time I seem to like it less. Their pizza menu is great but the service...not so much. I think that if they made the pizza the same way (fresh and perfectly cooked) like they did when they opened I would give more stars. Whay I really want is a California Pizza Kitchen and since there is not one nearby I would settle for this for pizza menu variety. Seems as if the management needs to crack the whip on the servers and do a little QC in the kitchen.

Service at Buckhead Pizza Company is comparable to customer service at Wal Mart, but with Target prices. Server took over 20 minutes to get drink order, and over 20 minutes to get drinks. They were never refilled by the server, the manager or anyone else on staff. Pizza took over an hour to get to the table. The quality of the pizza was lacking. Flavor- blank, Topping portions- Very light (And I don't like a cluttered pizza Very Very light may be more appropriate), Doneness- Still a little doughy in the middle however after waiting a hr your afraid to say anything cause it may take another hr. We attempted to speak to the manger, and when we approached the manger on duty (The bartender point them out) they were too busy texting to look up and see that a patron wanted to speak to them. Worst 2 hrs of my life. I honestly feel they owe me for enduring this horrific service and bad food. Showed up at 18:15 EST left 20:22 EST over 2 hrs to be server eat and get check!

Buford, GA
Myself and some friends recently visited the new location in Buford and was less than impressed. The hostess was less than attentive when we arrived. After we were set, we had to ask to silverware after the appetizers arrived. We gave their spinach dip a try, it was adequate at best. The pizza was fair and the remainder of the service was the same. The atmosphere was cool. In summary, there are plenty of better pizza options.
