THEIR CON JOB & SHODDY WORK COULD HAVE KILLED US.
Don't be fooled by the large number of vehicles being worked on at this hack shop. It's a con, and so is the owner/manager. The reason there are so many cars there at once is because you must return, many, many times to get the initial repair right. Even then, it will only be temporarily remedied. The electrical lighting work on our truck took three trips to secure (and they didn't even replace wires, just re-twisted existing ones for $200+). But terrifying, life-threatening complications came from a job I've since been told we didn't need: manifold gaskets (the engine only had 14K miles on it). They knew we were going on a cross-country trip and scared us into to thinking we needed this fake work. Not only did this shop's mechanics badly damage our distributor doing this bogus job (it took 4 additional visits to make that created problem "appear" right and 2 weeks later we're in Baton Rouge broken down with it again), the truly SCARY ERROR they made performing this unnecessary work was their careless reattachment of the manifold to the exhaust and muffler . (Btw, they blew out our muffler and had to replace it). Their haphazard, mangled screw job to the manifold became dislodged during highway travel and CARBON MONOXIDE EXHAUST CAME INSIDE THE VEHICLE! We were stranded in rural Mississippi with no safe way to continue; the mechanic we found in that state also noticed they didn't properly attach the muffler they blew out either--it was dangling. After paying these criminals $1400, they could have KILLED us with their rip off scheme and ineptitude. Kelly, the owner/manager, is a thieving con man; his staff is incompetent and, more importantly, dangerous.
