    Love it!

Bucciero's Pizzeria & Restaurant reopened for business recently, now located at 87 North Main Street across the street from their former location. They also have another location on Oakwood Ave in North Troy (former Bongiorno's Pizzeria). I stopped in here very recently to pick up dinner for the family. I clipped a coupon out of the The Troy Record for Buy an 8 Cut 2 Topping Pizza and Get a 6 Cut Cheese Pizza for $3 (more than half off).

The new place has ample table seating for dining in and a bar area. However, at the time of this review, Bucciero's Pizzeria was still in the process of obtaining their liquor license. The menu offerings include pizza (6-8-10-24 cut), strombolis, subs, sandwiches, salads, wings, appetizers, and Italian dinners. A children's menu is also available (dine-in only). Pepsi products are served here.

I ordered an 8 cut round Sausage & Peppers Pizza ($13.45) and a 6 cut square Cheese Pizza ($3), which was ready in about 25 minutes as promised. All I can say is, the pizzas were terrific and well executed! This is the best pizza I've had in Mechanicville. The pizzas had a slightly thick crust, with a light soft texture, not doughy. The toppings were generous with a good pizza sauce, lots of cheese, green & red peppers and chunks of Italian sausage, very filling to eat. My folks and I enjoyed the tasty pizzas for lunch and dinner the next day.

I'm a big Bucciero's fan, but I really preferred the recipe they previously used. Ever since they moved into the new location, the pizza just tastes a bit different -- almost mild and restrained (I think that's the word I'm looking for) compared to what it used to be -- and I don't think it's as good.

Don't misinterpret that, though: Bucciero's is still _very_ good!

One thing that Bucciero's requires major props for is their responsiveness to large orders and catering requests. A few months ago I had a relatively large party that I needed to provide food for. The Italian dishes were taken care of, but we also wanted pizza, wings, etc. This came as soft of a last-minute decision so we didn't give Bucciero's a whole lot of advance notice, but they were great: they were more than happy to work with us and got the food delivered with perfect timing.

Came here after a nice day of golfing. Just wanted something not too heavy and fulling. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with ff's. It came out pretty fast and it was good. The chicken was bigger than the bun and it was seasoned perfectly, their ff's were crinkles fries and were good also. They also have a full bar, with peroni on tap which is one of my favorite beers. It is rare to find it in a bar let alone on tap, so I was super stoked about that. I still haven't tried one of their pizza's so that is what I'll be ordering next time. Good atmosphere and the waitress we had was great.
