I actually crave the Hanover and Northender subs. They raised their prices a little this past year, but you are ALWAYS filled up with either the fresh bread or the packed salad to go boxes.
My only complaint is that the salad is sometimes still a bit wet from being washed, but that's a small price to pay for the always perfectly ripe tomatoes and generous toppings.
The servers are very friendly and can definitely remember faces and names if you go often. Awesome service!! -

I love sandwiches, Its my favorite thing to have for lunch. . anytime of day actually.
This place has the best chicken salad sandwiches. There isn't anything in the chicken salad but some awesome seasoning and a bit of mayo but you can add whatever you want to your sandwich.
The array of food look fresh and good! Service was nice and fast!

After having this great sandwich shop in my building for years I finally gave it a try. I don't know why it took so long but definitely glad I finally did. My go to sandwich has been the Honey BBQ Chicken which comes with lettuce, tomatoe, and cheese. The chicken is grilled and is smothered in the honey BBQ sauce, and at $6.50 it is a bargain in the financial district. I've also tried the chicken salad, which people rave about, it's seasoned chicken with just the right amount of mayo, sometime simple it best I guess.

I have to admit that $5 for a foot-long sub raises serious doubts in my mind about the quality of the ingredients. I don't think Subway is that cheap. They are tasty, though, rancid or not. All wraps and subs are $5 (after tax!); the chicken parm and buffalo chicken highlight the offerings. Made on baguettes that appear to be made fresh on site, too.
For those not in the mood for wraps/subs, Buccieri's also has some good lookin' soups & salads. -

I used to be 100% addicted to the convenience factor Buccieri's offered for me due to the fact that it's practically in my office building, and it's decent food that is always quick, but most items on the menu are quickly tossed together and while quick and filling, definately will never have you say "Yum."
They basically prepare every sandwhich the same way. Generic grilled chicken dunked in the seasoning of your choice (parm, ceasar, greek, etc) and they toss it in a bagguette (baked fresh all day long, one major plus). The lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh and flavorful; the ingredients always are, generally speaking, but the quality of presentation, construction, and 'recipe' leaves a little bit to be desired. The parm sub blows- it's not even breaded chicken. The italian cold cuts are pretty good,a nd they are very generous with the fresh mozzarella, so that's definately worth a try (the hanover and north ender, for example).
The soups are good too- i've never had the salads, but my coworker ggets them alot,a nd she's very picky, so they must be pretty decent. The meatballs are good too if you are in the mood for a meatball sub (cures hangovers by the way).
All in all, Buccieri's is a great value, clean, quick, and convenient. The guys that work here are really nice too, so you won't ever feel rushed or have to deal with rude staffers.
So in short, great value, decent quality, nothing gormet.... but what is for 5 bucks in the financial district?!?! -

It's been a few years since I've worked downtown, but I always loved going to Buccieri's for their Italian subs. They would make mine to order - ham and turkey with prosciutto, lettuce, tomato, oil & vinegar, and their red hots (which are easily the best in town). To make it all better, the bread was clearly baked within the last ten minutes, always. The owner is always super friendly and often in the mix with everyone else. Highly recommended.

Buccieri's is across the street from where I work, so I usually stop in once a week. They will pretty much put anything on their freshly made bread, or into a wrap for $5.50 (they used to be only $5). For the most part, the sandwich will be as good as what you decide to put on it. Their cold cuts are usually pretty good, but i have had more than one encounter with some really fatty prosciutto, so i stay away from that now. I usually stick with the chicken, which is usually pretty good and seasoned well.
They have awesome home made meatballs for their subs, but their chicken parm isnt that great cuz the chicken is just standard grilled chicken with no breading. Their sauce and cheese is really good tho.
The staff is really cool, and they always know exactly what i want and are making it the second i walk in the door.
They also recently started taking credit cards as well, so its even more convenient.
In conclusion, if you want a cheap sandwich or wrap, this is the place to go. They will pretty much put whatever you want on it without charging any extra. $5.50 everytime. $7 with soda and chips. -

I love this place. Not only is it convenient (right in my bldg!) but they have the freshest bread I've found in this area and high quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very personable and get to know you by name which adds a nice personal touch. Highly recommended!
