So i came here with my a big group of people and we ordered alllottt of food and desserts. I am not a reliable source to review Italian food because alot of it is done poorly and i'm a food snob. I'm not really a fan of italian food because i feel it all taste similar, at least all the different pastas with all the same sauces. Its always boring and predictable to me because i feel like i can make these things at home. But in the spirit of Konnies Bday i just kept my mouth shut and attended. (always get suckered into going to italian places when i go with a group)
Now they serve the food family style here where you can order a small which feeds like 2-3 people and the large which feeds 4-6 people.
What we ordered:
Fried Calamari
Large Pizza Angelou
Quattro Al Forno
Gnochi al Telefono
Large Chicken Marsala
Large Penne San Remo
Tiramisu
Strawberry Cheesecake
wow now that i list all the things we ordered we sound like fatties lol
all the food was okay...the chicken marsala was good but it wasn't really anything great or delcious....the Quattro Al Forno was just a mixture of different types of pasta all in the same pasta tomato sauce...it was typical italian fare...really boring...dull because it all tasted the same...the Penne San Remo was pretty good I liked the sun dried tomatoes in it.....The pizza was okay....i've had better...not worth ordering...if you must it wasn't bad...the crust was super thin...like mary kate thin...but not in a good way...
however...the tiramisu was really good...they used alot of rum because you could taste it...that was the highlight of the meal lol i was glad i ordered that...cheesecake was ehhh...nothing special...it was the cheesecake part and then the crust was like crumpled on top...seemed like a cop out to make cheesecake to me...
overall i probably wouldn't come here again on my own accord but if other people were coming like in a group i would go...
side note: the waiter was a total sweetheart...he gave my friend two drinks on the house because it was her birthday...like two mondo drinks where she was red in the face after them...he was so nice...that kind of made the night...because we were a large obnoxious group who couldn't make up our minds and he was super patient and answered all our questions and gave his own sugguestions...nice service...typical food...nothing special...but overall nice time...he took pictures for us that was nice too...
Today is World Pasta Day and Buca di Beppo is Celebrating by giving away a single serving size of their pasta w/ marinara or meat sauce and a package of dry pasta to take home. Plus, if you have those $10 off $20 coupons, you can use them with this promotion. So, being the deal lover that I am, I make it a point to give Buca a try today.
I just got back and I'm totally stuffed. The food was OK, but C&O's does a waaaay better job at the whole family style Italian food business.
- Complimentary Bread was served cold. Enough said.
- Caesar Salad was drenched in dressing and was overly salty.
- Pasta Carbonara was yummy but way too rich.
- Pasta with Meat Sauce was ok. I've made better at home.
Service was a little slow, but they were way understaffed. I only saw one waiter for the whole restaurant! I felt really bad for him too when this crazy women came in demanding beer and getting pissed because they didn't have sandwiches and pizza by the slice on the menu. *awkward turtle*
On the plus side, the bill came out super cheap! Lunch + leftovers for the next couple of days only ended up costing $12.05 (before tip). Overall it wasn't bad, but with so many better restaurants out there, I probably won't come back of my own accord.

My friends and I were seated in around ten minutes, and for the most part, we were treated really well! The food was good, but it wasn't as if I've never had better. We definitely over-ordered - one large chicken carbonara and one small baked rigatoni. 5 girls...
Next time, we're definitely bringing the guys over. We each walked out with a take-out box that made our bags smell like an Italian fridge of leftovers.
I had the best thin crust peperoni pizza ever in California!it was tasty and a small size pizza was enough for two people, the price was good too only $15 they also have a good wine list so i will definitely recomend this place i dont care much about the decor but the food and the service is good.

I love me some large portions. And this place is the place for just that. This is probably on the top of my list of fave Italian joints so 4 stars for that. But... 1 star off for that one particular server. I've been here lots of times and always had awesome service. Their awesome streak came to end just last week. I came in fairly early, around 5pm. So no crowd yet. We were seated right away and then it happened. Then most lethargic server I've ever come across comes over and lazily asks us what we want. No "hello." No "how's it going." Hmm. He even walks like he just got out of a coma. He delivered the yummy food but never came to check in on us (and I desperately wanted some crushed pepper so I had to look for one myself). I would understand if it was busy but no! Totally empty. Oh well, I love this place though so he in particular won't stop me from coming back!
At least me and my friend had a good laugh along with the good food.
I come here only when I have a $10 off a $30 purchase coupon or a $10 off a $20 purchase coupon. (Yes, I am a coupon queen.) But that doesn't mean that the food here is so terrible that I would pay for it only at a discount price. I'm just not a fan of food in ridiculously big portions. Even the lunch entrees are too huge for me.
Another thing that I'm not a fan of is being short-changed. At Buca Di Beppo, the servers tip themselves a little before they give you change and let you decide how much to tip them. They give you bills, but they don't give you coins. For example, if your bill total is $21.64, and you put down $25, you will get $3 back instead of $3.36. The first time my friend and I ate here, we thought our waiter was just forgetful, and we didn't mind. However, I got short-changed every time thereafter. Now I've learned to have exact payment ready whenever I eat here and keep coins in my purse. I'm not sure if there is a restaurant policy to not give coins to customers. O_o
The food quality here is not bad at all. There are 2 entrees that my friends and I always enjoy: Linguine Frutti di Mare and Chicken Carbonara. Shrimp and baby clams in Linguine Frutti di Mare are fresh, and the mussels are not small. My most favorite is Chicken Carbonara because I like prosciutto and tender chicken breast in creamy Alfredo sauce. Italian soda in strawberry flavor is also awesome. It completes my meal at Buca Di Beppo.

OK so I am a bit biased maybe seeing that I was part of the original crew that opened this place about ten years ago. But that kind of gives me favorable insight regarding the quality of the food and how it is prepared. Now I don't know the staff currently working here, but I will say that the dudes in the kitchen at the time did an absolutely fantastic job. Buca was only open for dinner in those days. The kitchen staff got there every day in the AM. and began prepping everything for dinner...All day. Nothing was ever used over for the following day. I mean nothing prepared. Of course ingredients and what not were used. The delicious sauce was made in a HUGE pot fresh every day etc. I think that is awesome if you ask me. I know firsthand that there are many eateries that don't follow this principle. They cover food material in plastic and put it in the fridge for reuse. I haven't eaten at a Buca in quite some time and I do know that they are open for lunch now but let's just hope that they have stuck to their guns and not given in to their bottom line.
I could go into many of their great dishes but my main point was about the quality. It's topnotch as far as I know.

I wasn't really a fan of Buca in the past, but as of lately, I'm starting to learn to like it. We usually go here for our department dinners, and because it's family style, we order tons of food and i get to taste a lot of different dishes.
They have good calamari and warm spinach salad.
The rigatoni with sausage and bolognese sauce is very good. It seems baked, because the cheese they put on top gets a little brown and crispy. The lemon chicken is also delicious. It comes with capers, which I don't like, but the chicken by itself is good.
We ordered this huge dessert platter with four different desserts: cheesecake, chocolate cake, apple cobbler, tiramisu. The cheesecake had strawberry topping poured over it and was delicious. The chocolate cake had a little too much icing and i would prefer more cake to icing. The apple cobbler was amazing! I didn't try the tiramisu, but those that did said it had a lot of alcohol in it.
I've been dragged to this place more than once. I'm not overly enthusiastic about Italian food, having spent too many years eating it back on the East Coast. Oh yeah, and also growing up, since it was my father's favorite. Oh, and did I mention that I'm not partial to tomatoes or tomato sauce? Deck stacked against me, right?
So, this place is starting to grow on me. I've gotten to the point where the decorations have become amusing. The food isn't so bad. With reservations, the wait isn't too long. They have a liquor license. The menu isn't what I think of when I think of "healthy," but hey, you can always do health food some other day. As long as you don't have a problem with crowds, and you're with enough people that the portion sizes make sense, then go for it.
The best time to go is...definitely for lunch! We went there on Father's Day and the food was great. Though the salmon my dad ordered did look a bit "dry," but the pizza and pasta and salad ..and bread made up for it! Our waiter was nice and didn't constantly bother us..yet was attentive enough to frequently fill our waters and ...give us more olive oil and vinegar to go with the yummy bread!
The only down side is that the tables don't seem very sanitary. When you accidently put your elbows on the portion that isn't covered by paper..it's sticky *cringe* Also, I noticed that there was a group of five (3 guys 2 girls)..that was squeezed into a booth made for four people..I kinda felt bad for them. And yes, they can be a bit pricey so having a coupon goes a long way! Overall, good food (but stick to italian dishes) and attentive service.
I've been here a few times and the food has never disappointed me.
The decorations are fun to look at and the staff is friendly.
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this place :(
It's really not bad, but hmm maybe it's just me :/

I've been here twice now and both times the service has been mediocre at best. Although the servers have never been rude, they have consistently been very slow about taking our order or bringing the check. Overall, the staff here just seems bored and unenthusiastic. As far as the food, it's been good both times and at good value in my opinion.
Buca should only be utilized in large groups, otherwise youll walk out feeling cranky from hearing people sing happy birthday, and waiters rushing around with giant plates and beverages all night.
The food is mediocre, i felt like anything that had noodle involved came out all noodle! noodle di beppo they should call it! Where are the giant happy meatballs and the tomatos in teh sauce? Must still be in those giant cans they put the dishes on top of!
If you can ignore the food, the place is actually really fun and a delightfully loud place to go to. Lots of stuff on the wall (and ceiling!) to look at!

The food: simply awful. How do you screw up spaghetti and meat sauce? Oh they find a way, my friends. They find a way.
And God help you if you order anything that may have taken something other than a monkey to prepare, like Chicken Parm or Salmon. Sheesh. It's as if they hired normal, average line cooks and told them to forget everything they ever knew about preparing food.
However, the service was pretty excellent. The waiter really tried to make us happy and the wine presentation was flawless. Of course the wine sucked, but, what do you expect?
The interior was cheese-ball with the b/w 8x10s from the Godfather and Goodfellas hung up next to the Catholic iconography and archetypal Italian nick-nacks. I'm not Italian, but I was slightly offended anyway, at least from a design standpoint.
The family style serving dishes were kind of silly, but I suppose that appeals to families with young children and big groups of people that were too lazy to dump a box of mac and cheese into a pot.
Next time, just stick with spaghetti-O's. It's a wash, really.

So I thought we scored when we were mailed a $10 off a $30 purchase coupon in the mail. How bad could it be right?
The wait wasn't too bad. No more than 2 minutes. Considering it was a Friday evening I expected a little bit more, but then again it was raining, and most of the 3rd Street Promenade crowd was out somewhere else. Since it was easy to get a table, I figured we'll probably get our food pretty quickly right? The guy who blew me off (chubby Hispanic guy with the shaved head) when I asked for more bread might have been a clue that everything would take FOREVER. Try an hour for the food. If the food was actually tasty, I wouldn't have minded waiting. Negative ghost rider... I'm far from a consistent cook, but I think I could have done better.
3 rounds of Happy Birthday in I'm still thinking, this place must be used to dealing with larger groups. How could the food take so long when the restaurant wasn't even completely full? Seriously it was maybe like 60% full, and yet our food took forever to get.
I'd skip the trip here. Andre's next to the Grove is my fall back Italian place.
Oh, btw. I'm guilty for not having checked out yelp before going.... Seeing the reviews I probably would have skipped dinner here...

Buca Di Beppo is one of those places you either love or hate. I'll pick the second one. The problem with this place is the food. Sure the atmosphere is "fun" (if not painfully annoying at times) but the food is 1)bad 2)to big in proportion and 3)takes forever to get.
Trust me, there are much better italian places in the greater Los Angeles area. Don't bother.
I should have expected something to be off when they took me on a tour of the kitchen in order to take me to my table which was only 10 feet from the hostess stand. (I feel bad for the people who end up sitting at the booth built into the kitchen.) In any event, I had never been to a BdB before, but when I lived on the east coast, friends used to rave over it. Maybe I'm more critical, but this place was nothing but a more expensive Olive Garden, filled with mediocre food and screaming kids. I have yet to try the other Italian restaurants lining Ocean Blvd. around the corner, but they have to be better than this.
I used to really enjoy this place with it's kitchy walls plastered with pictures of old Italian guys playing checkers and nuns on bikes. It was the first chain restaurant that fooled me into thinking that it was a mom and pop sort of place.
A couple of nights ago, we visited the 2nd St. location and pretty much lost the craving to ever go to any other Buca again. The prices have inflated and the food tasted overly salty and generic. We ordered the garlic cheese bread which used to look like a pizza. Now it's just six pieces of the focaccia bread with some cheese on it. The frutti di mare was super salty and the seafood in it was NOT fresh.... Also, it cost $8 for a large domestic beer...
All in all, it was probably the last experience I will ever have at a Buca unless a coworker makes me go there or something. So sad... another place bites the dust.

Every time we we go to Venice to get Tattoos we always make our way to Buca Di Beppo.
Since we have been going there for years now the food which is by the way not the best but definitely not the worst. The Service just seems so much worse the last few times we have gone. At first the service was great and it slowly just kept getting worse. The wait alone is almost so not worth it.
However If you want to go to place to get big portions and split the food. This is the place to go. There portions are so huge it always almost has to be split with others.
The drinks and desert's at Buca's are also pretty decent as well as the prices.

I'm an extremely picky eater. I don't do most condiments, and I certainly don't do tomatoes. I usually avoid Italian eateries like the plague. That said, this is the one of the places that our company frequents the most for lunch. They call to make a reservation for 15...in the pope room.
There's no greater joy than having a bust of the pope stare at you while you're eating that 4th helping of fettuccine -- the Catholic guilt kicks in and you start thinking about starving children in underdeveloped countries, you don't feel like gorging yourself with an obscene amount of food anymore.
As much as I want to give Buca a one-star, everyone else thinks this place is pretty decent. I'll settle with a three-star.

Many thanks to Redondo Bucca Di Peppo for enduring my loud roller girl friends on my birthday. Your wait staff is top notch and has a great sense of humor.
The food, as always, was delicious.

Okay, when you've had THE BEST homemade Italian food, well... nothing quite compares.
And yes, "the Italian" and I went here out of desperation. we wanted a lot of food, and a lot of starch.
Calamari - eh, so-so.
Bruschetta - boo.
Chicken with Lemon and Capers - edible, but lacked flavor.
Rigatoni - boo.
All in all..... we liked the drinks. Haha!
Sorry Buca... I know it's just not fair...
They did it. They gave away those party favors and you have to come back in order to redeem it. My friend won the Gelato, which I assume is the most popular one since they were out of half of the flavors. Apparently Wednesday is kids night, because I was surrounded by them, kicking and screaming.
I had the gnocchi, which was decent. The small portion feeds 2 with leftovers, but then again I'm usually there with a friend that doesn't eat a lot, and neither do I. It's fun to share food.
The calamari is REALLY good. As usual, the Mango Berry Martini is yummy. My server was attentive. Drinks got there quick, food got there quicker. Love you Buca, just don't surround me by screaming children next time.

Buca Di Belcho.
Are you a broke-ass college student?
Do you have a family of 9 hungry wolves?
This is your place. The portions here are so unbelievably big that an American would even say that they are massive. That's saying a lot, people.
The food is so-so and you will definitely have leftovers to take home with you. Seriously. Thinking of getting something light like a salad? Great idea of you want to eat 2 acres of spinach!
This is a great place to go with big groups if you want to pay only on one check.
Don't half step. Order something that will taste good as leftovers.

Horrible.
I went here only because I got a gift card at my company party. I never thought I'll eat spaghetti that makes my high school cafeteria food seem decent. As a matter of fact, I would've rather had SpaghettiO's instead if I knew I was going to have some overcooked soggy excuse for a noodle with some bland generic sauce on top.
There were tons of little kids in there and it's another sad portrayal of what average families are feeding themselves today.
Oh, and the place was covered with horrible decor of mysterious pseudoerotic angel paintings. Something else i wouldn't want to expose kids to.
Bleh.
In general, this place blows goats. My friend used to work here, so that was the only reason we went. Since he quit, I haven't been back, and I don't think I'll be returning any time soon. Probably the next time I go, will be some random evening when I'm in a city I don't like or know, and Buca di Beppo is sadly the least offensive thing around.
I do like the cesaer salad, because their dressing is very fishy. Real cesaer salad dressing is made with anchovies you ignorant chuckleheads, so deal with it. They also would give me extra anchovies on the side, which I lovingly scattered all over my salad. Probably the best dish here, unfortunately.
None of the other food I can remember eating, as I usually lose my vision about 1/3 into the meal. The combination of heavy starches, nasty tomato-based sauces, and sweaty patrons makes me black out. I generally come to when I'm at home on my toilet crying.
Since my friend worked there, I also got to hear the stories of the shenanigans and debauchery that takes places within the employees there. Gross. Just kidding, I don't have any friends.

for those of you that hate the food or have never been to buca. the only menu items i stand behind are:
1) chicken marsala (sweet sauce that you will want to dunk your bread in)
2) eggplant parmesan (not even a fan of eggplant but this stuff is sliced so thin !!!!and fried mind you!!! layers of fried eggplant and cheese stacked on a plate and smothered in sauce)
3) the pizzas are thin crust and crunchy - delicious just find the one with the toppings you like
4) the green beans are pretty delicious!
5) tiramisu for dessert
i worked at buca for a brief moment in time and during training we had to try everything on the menu. so from a palate that has sampled the menu in it's entirety - the above get five star.
2 stars for all the memories from college. I used to come here often for family-style dinner/celebrations with college friends and dates. It's fun, reasonably priced, casual, big-portioned (aka great for big groups), and colorful.
2 stars for the memories created two weekends ago. With my really really light wallet, I wanted to treat my cousins and aunts out to lunch because they were visiting from Korea. This place was perfect.....for my cousins who eat a lot, for my cousins who are picky eaters, for my aunts who loved the many hilarious and cute photos, and lastly for me and my non-profit budget. :)

Came here Monday night with a friend and had a rather pleasant experience... the waitress errr server was later to be found out her first day serving and she did an EXCELLENT job at it! I can't remember her name for the life of me but she was a host for a while...
At any rate got seated in the rear room and it was completely empty when we arrived! YAY and a First for this place!
We ordered off the Mio (single serving) menu and had the lemon chicken and salad.. The Lemon Chicken was DELIS!!@ Cooked so well it was cut with a fork and the pasta was done perfectly!
The sald was good however could have been a bit more fresh (in the sense it seemed too seasoned)
The service was quick and efficent... well it was our server's only customer until near the end...
Will I be back .. if someone else is driving.. Living in Hollywood and going to SM for dinner is very far and with gas I would stick to walking to Maceli's down my street which has less of a chain atmosphere

Can I get some freshly made food please?!?
Yuck, this place has food that fresh from the can (or the Tony Roma's take and bake lasagna box)! There is absolutely nothing endearing about this crowded mess on 2nd St. They made an effort to, what I can only imagine, authenticate the place by throwing up pictures of Frank Sinatra on the wall and vines on the ceiling but the amount of unnecessary "flair" in the tightly packed restaurant is more annoying than endearing. Additionally, the crowd is often loud with teenagers or kids and I have oft left with a pounding headache and empty stomach.
Don't waste your time looking for a spot in the crowded Promenade parking structures. Opt instead for somewhere like Sapori in the Marina (for couples) or C &O in Venice (for families or groups).
Approx. $40 for two people
Even though Buca is a chain I still think they deserve some credit for what they do. I mean, the place lets you walk through the kitchen before getting to your table and still manages an A on its health inspection.
Food: My favorites here are anything prepared in the parmigian style (eggplant or chicken) and the macaroni rosa. The macaroni comes with a pink sauce (alfredo + tomato), curly hollow pasta (macaroni), broccoli, and some peas. Sounds simple, right? Well, it is, but it's damn delicious. The pizza here is kind of crappy though. Everything is served family style so you can get huge plates and share. This is especially useful for catering as you don't really have to worry about portion sizes. Also, most of the desserts here are worth trying.
Atmosphere: Where else can you go to stare at a bust of the Pope or images of a young, lithe Sophia Loren? Buca tries very hard to be unique in its decorations and definitely succeeds. I must say that it is a little discomforting to have a religious figure stare you down as you soil your face with red sauce.
Service: Can be slow, but they're used to having huge parties. I came here for graduation and there was no problem squeezing my family and friends into one of the rooms.
Parking: There are tons of garages around 2nd street owned by the city (I think). They have a 2 hour free period and then start charging a steep rate after that. It maxes out at $7, I think.
Synopsis: Not sure how authentic this place is, but my stomach seems to think highly of their food, so I have to agree.

When it comes to eating as a family (and thats how my WORK does it best) the best spot for lunch (or dinner) is Buca. Its a chain, so i base it against all other chains.
Ordering two large portions of food can feed 6 very hungry employees, or a large salad with that and you'll be taking food home. We always order a single ginormous meatball, and the apple and Gorgonzola salad, and usually we end up getting the Linguine Mare. Its got a pretty good presentation too because they bring it out sealed in foil and when you open it up, steam just billows out.
It doesn't hurt that you can order alcohol there either.

Having lived in Santa Monica for several years I had always been curious about this place and finally made the fatal mistake of coming to it last weekend. As I had feared this is basically high school cafeteria food, there are plenty of warning signs including the tacky decorations, the hostess who is eighteen years old, the TGIF feel to the place. Save your money, and save your palate from this gastronomic assault on your sensibilities.

Honestly, everyone and their mom has probably had Buca Di Beppos before so if you haven't here's the rundown, it's all family style so everyone shares (yay sharing) and they give you hella food. And the food is all decent. And the decorations are tacky. and they have a pope room, and that's about it.
this place is good for large groups, but if you had less than 8 people i wouldn't bother, in fact make that 10 people.
I enjoy it personally but the whole over the topness or the place can be a bit much for some people.
I almost give it 4 stars, but you know, for being cool you should not like this place. But I did! I think it has a very favorable quality and experience / price ratio. The place is cute, service is good, portions are huge.
Regarding food, nothing too exciting, but nothing pretentious ether. Nor overpriced. I had an apple and gorgonzolla salad, with iceberg lettuce, some dried berries and walnuts, and it was what you expect; nothing you cant make at home, but very well presented and compared to buying all the ingredients at the supermarket and preparing it at home, a good value proposition.
Then a classic fresh mozzarella and fresh oregano pizza. Nothing revolutionary, I agree, but good stuff. Tomato of the pizza had some chunks of fresh tomato, which is a good plus.
Another reason for not giving it 4 stars -I just remembered- we had 3 (three) birthday parties, so three times we had to sing Happy Birthday. Yeah. three stars is good enough
I am rubbing my eyes right now. Ok, couple of four-star reviews, one five-star. I rubbed my eyes again. Yep. Still the same count...
Today, after an afternoon of shopping at 3rd Street, I said to my lovely wife "Say...why don't we just dine in Santa Monica?"
We strolled under the sunsetting skies, enjoying the warmth of the summer, and the buzzing streets filled with shoppers, lovers, kids and tourists. And mama mia, we found Buca Di Peppo.
We were sat at a table fairly quickly. Server was polite and attentive. We looked at the menu and ordered calamari (small) and Fettuccine Supremo (small). The calamari came with tentacles and we love it. But the Fettuccine was....well, just an insult to our taste buds.
Ok...one thing I do recall is that this is not fine Italian dining and we ordered the food that mind. All we just wanted was something fun and hearty and filling. The decoration was interesting. Then and there we placed our appetite on the betting table.
Sure the Fettuccine Supremo can feed an army but where were the greens (broccoli), reds (bell pepper) and the carcass (chicken breasts)? Not to mention the gravy was so starchy that they stuck to my teeth, gums and side cheeks. I bet this joint just bought over Argo & Kingsford's. Don't get me started on the cheese. The dish is so cheezy that it makes BayWatch Cheez-O-Hasselhoff . (once filmed on the San Mo beaches) look plain and dull. Oh how about this...the dish is so repelling that it actually made Olive Garden's dishes look a little better. And we hate OG just as deep...
We ate two or three mouthfuls of Fettuccine Supreyuck, and we asked for the check right away. We paid $30 something dollars and we left right away.
Buca Di Crappo wasted our time like some cheap magazine. What a rip.

The food took forever and the restaurant was not even full. In addition, the Angelano pizza had a missing topping...which is not good. Super expensive, for the quality of food they give. For me it's quality over quantity always.
Ok um ... the people that actually gave this place a review as if they really expected more than they received seriously surprise me. So you knowingly went to BDB and were disappointed? I ... I .. I just d-don't get it.
You mean you didn't expect to see 6 200-lb adults stuffed in a booth gorging themselves on pasta and pizza? You expected the pasta to be delicious and tasty? Like ... um ... where do you live again?
OK - it was random, but yes we went. Uh our waitress was a peach, real sweet girl, could actually upgrade restaurant jobs, great service. The pasta was gross but surprisingly the pizza was really good. It's just the way I like it. And the hot rosemary bread was really good. The waitress' only downfall is that she told us a small size feeds 2 people when really she should have said 2 REALLY FUCKING FAT people or 4 people our size.
Oh well.

The feeling and food is just similar to any Buca branch I ever been to...
The usual large portions (I really like the way they make the fried calamari) , polite servers and black & white portraits..
The pasta isnt really anything to be impressed about, at least its not instant ramen and ketchup... Come to think of it, instant ramen noodles are more tasty than ordinary spaghetti noodles....
Sadly no parking (park in the building in front) and they dont validate parking...
This is a really good place to bring a group too. The food is pretty standard for most Italian places, but it's by no means bad at all.
Definitely go with a large group because almost all the dishes have huge portions. And when you go in a larger group, the price goes way down.
