I would honestly give more stars if I could...SERIOUSLY.
I ADORE every morsel created at Buca's..I REALLY DO!
Every time I'm in Daytona Beach I go here and STUFF myself like a pig, just because the flavors here are sooooo delicious.
Do yourself a favor and GO HUNGRY so you can get the full experience. The prices are good too and the portions are HUGE, just like Nona's! Mangia!! Mangia!! the decor is straight outta Sicily and is very cozy. Desserts are to die for guys, and I'm not a sweet-tooth junkie, but it's a MUST here indeed!
Try it for yourself and see, I can't wait to return!

Wow, this restaurant is bad. It is so bad it is almost criminal because of the prices they are charging you, unless you count the food you can bring home to feed your dog, (if he will eat it).
When my family first entered we thought it was a sort of ripoff of a really good, small Italian home style restaurant that is around the corner from my office in Coral Gables, Randazzo's. It has the same, over the top, tacky atmosphere and it serves huge family style portions. That is where any similarities ended. While the portions are huge the food is uniformly awful.
Everything described on the menu is only vaguely close to what they are serving. My wife had the spinach salad. It did have spinach in it but that is where it's relationship to any other spinach salad ended. No bacon, no eggs, no warm vinegary dressing but tons of tomatoes. My son had the fettuccine carbonara which was described on the menu as being served with Alfredo sauce???? I think that those are two different pasta styles/sauces, hey, but what do I know? But even with the "Alfredo" sauce it was completely tasteless. My son kept dumping cheese on it and even resorted to putting pepper on it in an attempt to add some flavor (he is 10 years old and pepper is a last resort for Him). I ordered the short ribs in a Barollo sauce. The only time the meat that I was eating was even close to a short rib was when it was attached to the same animal. It was more like some kind of overcooked pot roast in a ketchup/sugar/molasses sauce.
The menu is set up like a steak house so none of the entries comes with any sides, you need to order anything you would like to accompany your entree such as mashed potatoes for my pot roast. There are two serving sizes for each menu item, overwhelming and obscene and both are wildly overpriced (for what you get).
If you care only about volume this is the place for you. If you have taste buds you would be better off at Krystal down the street.
