When my hair stylist said he was moving, I knew I would follow. Alex has been cutting my hair for years! What a great surprise to see his own little magic spot in this great store. I love going for the good haircuts, then looking around at the amazing selection of products
The owner is always delightful and has a fun story to share.
Who says change is bad, in this case it is perfect! -

I went in for a 'walk in' wash and blow out by Alejandro. This was a little bit of heaven. His wash and head massage was more thorough than any I have had recently, and the price was so reasonable for my mass of long curly hair. (40$). He was very helpful and it was such a nice neighborhood stop, I will always stop in for my hair care needs, and dermalogica brand:)

This place is fantastic! I'm not a product maniac, but it seems like I always get attached to hair products that are only sold in salons - and never in the same salon or for very long. So I'm running around the city and the internet trying to find refills for what I use every time I run out. Very irritating. Bubbles and Shampoo solved that problem for me. I found them on Yelp and, with a sigh, decided to try yet another store for what I need (Pureology, Renee Furterer).
Not only did they have my brands, but *gasp* (take heed Pure Beauty, ye of the uninformed and heavily manicured sales staff!), the woman behind the counter actually knew everything about all her products, recommending a slightly cheaper alternative made by the same company under a different name.
I've been trying to find a new shampoo/conditioner combo for my highlighted hair for a while but have gotten tired of the search (and poorer for it!) because every time I try a new product, I have to buy a whole bottle to find out it doesn't work. Not here. She recommended a few different brands, gave me some great advice, and sent me home with a few samples, one of which works beautifully. Hooray!
I love this place!!! -

OK bumping this place up a star because they were very pleasant last time I went in. Either they saw my review and changed their ways (yes, I know, I flatter myself) or, more likely, I caught them on a bad day the first time around.

I gave it some extra stars because it's great to have a local product source. Beyond the convenience… Read more »

I stopped in randomly to look for a hard-to-find nail polish shade I love, and they had it! The owner was so nice -- she even offered to order it for me if I needed it again and couldn't find it there. I love that they carry Dermalogica, too -- a huge plus! All in all, a good experience : )

Everything beauty-related product you'll ever need is here. They even have a little salon in the back. Behind the counter are the dermologica products & there is a whole shelf dedicated to it.

I've been using this one brand of hair gel for years now and I refuse to use anything else so on a dare I went to Bubbles to see if they carry "my" brand. What do you know, they do and they carry the whole line. Score!

S and I randomly went in here Saturday when we were at the noe valley fair. It's a whole store filled with hair products... not too exciting to me, but rather more exciting to him. The woman there seemed to know what she was talking about and be knowlegable about the products. S picked me out 2 products, told me I needed to buy those, so I did. Ive used one so far and it works great. If you are a local, which we are, you get a punchy card. The punchy card is one stamp for every $5 you spend. We already have a lot of stamps and we get $10 off when it's full, if we don't lose the card first. :) I'm sure our household will be back to get more products, since both s and I love ours so far.
Listed in: Noe Valley is Awesome!

I love this little shop and have never had a bad experience with customer service. Staff is helpful and guarantees the products. THE place to get quality shampoo, color and nail supplies and I usually get a parking spot right in front of the shop.

Arrived around 2:50 on a Sunday. Sign on door says "OPEN" - small note taped onto door says be back in 5 mins. Walked over to 2 other shops to window shop & wait. Came back 10 mins later...still no one there. Waited another 5 minutes & still no one showed up! LAME. This is why small businesses like this fail. I will not go back, who knows if they will be open or not.

I very rarely write reviews on yelp unless the service I received was egregiously bad or perfectly wonderful. Sad to say, this place fits in the former category.
These people are charlatans. I went in today to return a product that was sold to me. It was an eye gel that had already been opened before I had purchased it and had a "Try Me" bright orange sticker on it. It had obviously been on the floor as it had already been opened and had that sticker on it. The manager (owner?) told me that it was open because I had opened it at home (which I had not!) and that the sticker meant "buy me" but just said "try me" instead. She then gave me another one of the same product that did not have the sticker and was closed with a protective plastic on the nozzle (that the first one did not have) and when I pointed out that it did not have this sticker, she said that some of the products do and some don't have this sticker.
I bought this with a $111.00 credit that I had. Now that I do not trust this business as much as I did once, I don't want to be roped into buying more products from this store.
Please do not visit this store. They give mom and pops a bad name. The next time I want to purchase beauty products, I will go somewhere like Macy's. Unfortunately, this kind of business practice gives a bad name to all small businesses.

I was in the neighborhood and discovered that this new beauty supply store had just opened up. They had a good selection of products and they carried the Rene Furterer and Murad products that I use . The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. I will recommend this store to all my friends and plan on becoming a faithful customer.
