This place is so cute! They have the best little girls clothes ever! I believe they have boys clothes as well but I have two nieces and tend to stick to the girly section

The staff is super friendly and always willing to help and work with you to find exactly what you are looking for.

From jewelry(great prices on their crystal bracelets), hair accessories, leggings, tutu's, shoes, flip flops, this place has it all. I can always find something here

This boutique has great quality and stylish kids clothing.

Clothes can be pricey but they always have a HUGE sale section which is a great score.

    love!

Great Neighborhood kids' shop. Cute funky t-shirts and good quality items and service. I have purchased several items for my son, nieces and nephews, and friends' children - they do a nice job with presentation if you are buying a gift.

Easy to get to if you live in Pac Heights, Cow Hollow, or the Marina.

I keep returning to Bubble because they have unique gifts that you can't really find anywhere else.
It seems like all my friends are having babies lately and my first stop is always Bubble to see what kind of fun gifts they have. I've been a big fan of the "Pee Pee Tee Pee" and I think we've actually bought all that they had.
They also have a great selection of San Francisco wear like onesies and hats, etc.

What makes Bubble different from all the other Marina baby stores?

It actually has a 50/50 ratio of clothing for girls and boys!
The owner works in the store, has children and is super friendly without being overbearing .
The tee-shirt selection is by far one of the best.  Super soft, stylish tees!

Solid clothing store for a San Francisco baby and a perfect place to stop in and pick up a cool little gift.

I love my nephew.  He is the cutest little ball of dough.  He's still at the point where he has Michelin tire Man balls of fat around his arms and his legs.  And his head is way too big for his body.  And his fingers aren't really fingers, but just little moldable mounds of play doh.  And doesn't it just melt your heart when you give your finger to a baby and their fatty non-hands just kind of grab and squeeze it?  And they look at you - well, my nephew looks at me - in that confused but adoring and dependent way and smiles.  And he doesn't know that 20 years down the line, he once looked admirably at crazy sweaty kooky unmarriable lonely Uncle Ed.  But somewhere, somehow, a bunny hops and a baby duck quacks and a sun shines and a flower blooms.  Because that's how I feel inside when he smiles at me.

I haven't seen my nephew in around 6 months, but he is about to turn one-year old, and we all know that other than Noe Valley, there are no babies in San Francisco.   So how am I supposed to know what size a one year old baby is?  How tall is he supposed to be?  Like what, 3 feet tall?  100 pounds?  They grow fast nowadays, don't they?

With a recommendation from Nish (the man's an encyclopedia of knowledge, folks), I ventured to The Neighborhood Where We Dare Not Speaketh Its Name to get him a present. Yeah, the place is over-priced, and I personally think that it's a little foolish to show off your baby in urbanwear clothing, but hey, that's why I ain't making babies. And I came out with an apparently trendy but adorable in that bunnies-hugging-puppies-kissing-a-kitten-wrapped-i n-a-flower-swimming-at-the-beach-way beanie.

I want to get the nephew used to beanies.  Cause after all, you just know my nephew's gonna be a gangsta.

I don't have any kids but this is where I'd shop if I did. Very cool clothes for the happening little people in your life - we're talking labels like Antik Denim, Kingsley, Shrunk and Room Seven - I would imagine Maddox and Shilo would shop here, but not Sean Preston.

I stopped in one early evening, just to browse. The owner was super friendly and we chatted a few minutes. She told me that they have birthday parties there, and kids can decorate their own t-shirt, too. Sounds like loads of fun to me: kids are crafty, in both senses of the word, and this store seems to get that!

I always thought a good game to play at baby showers is every time someone utters the word, "cute" while the knocked-up lady is opening presents (as in, "Oh heavens, that is soooo cute!!"), he/she has to drink. I've suggested this festive drinking game at the past three baby showers I've attended, but as yet it has been meet with a cool reception.

But I won't be stymied for long!! I recently showed the aunts and grandmas how to liven up a baby shower by getting my gifts from Crafty Kids. A rad (don't say cute!) pink onesie with AC (lightening bolt) DC on it, for example. Or a black "concert" shirt that says, "Ozzy Newborn." And, "I did it all for the cookie."*

It was more than a little disturbing that brands like Juicy Couture and Seven make itty bitty clothes for itty bitty rich urban hipster babies, but damn are they cute! (Doh--bad me, drink!) Go now (March) for the 50% off sale so you can be the cool kid at the next shower without having to take out a second mortgage.

*Friends and I have come up with some of our own baby shirt sayings that we might share with the sweet proprietors of Crafty Kids:

    Now that I'm safe, I'm pro-choice
I ripped mommy a new one
Mommy just wanted a back rub
I like to hit the bottle

The ONLY place to buy baby gifts! Are all your friends procreating? Are you sick of buying the same old pink blanket and blue onesie? Are you painfully hip and blessedly single and have no idea what a onesie is?

Then Bubble is YOUR store. I guess they have like kids events and stuff but who cares? Not me. I totally don't care about that.

What I DO care about is making my dropping-like-flies, wing-women-turned-mommy gal pals feel like they're still sorta cool even though they have barf all over their Prada shoes. Enter Bubble--the only store in town that sells baby shirts that say things like: "Sorry Boys, I Only Date Rock Stars!"

Or for my cousin who used to be quite the alcoholic until she got bit by the maternity bug (sad, really, she was a riot): "I Drink Until I Pass Out," with a picture of a little bottle on it. The upshot? Everyone at her pearled out, Junior League baby shower sat in shocked silence, and my cache went up like a zillion points. Eat that, baby brigade! :)

Or for my friend who used to be a model: "Does This Diaper Make My Butt Look Big?"

Seriously, if you want to buy the ultimate baby gift, items with an actual sense of humor that are in fact edgy and not sickeningly sweet, hit Bubble immediately. The baby will look cool, you'll look cool, and the parents will feel fuzzy all over as you bring back memories of days when they were still fun people to hang out with. Remember those?

Seems like everyone I know is having a kid this summer!!
Crafty Kids is a funky little kids store with some pretty cool stuff!
I went in with my list in hand and spent way more than I wanted to, but I think I got some pretty cute stuff! This is no Baby Gap. I love all the little conversation baby -T's. Another cool thing about this store is if you have your friends address, they will wrap up and ship your gifts for an extra $10. Great added bonus for a lazy gal like me!

I'll admit that I'm not the best at picking out kids apparel. This, I believe, is a knack that you pick up a) once you're married or b) if you're a woman, however, for some reason this cute kids store (Crafty Kids) on Fillmore, caught my eye last week as I was walking home. I think it was the 'I did it all for the Cookie's' cookie monster shirt I spied in the window that was playing off the similar sounding Limp Bizkit song.

Anyway, after lunch on Saturday, I made it my job to seek out the coolest of cool kids shirts for a few of my nieces and nephews back east. At first I couldn't focus. Too many shirts. Too many kids. Too many sizes. What sizes were these kids anyway? The owner finally walked over and asked kindly if I needed help. Apparently it was obvious that I did. I decided to focus on each kid and eliminate their gift in sequence. She asked me a few questions and we started going through the shirts. Elmo. No Elmo. Skulls. No Skulls. Bon Jovi. No Bon Jovi. This went on for awhile until I finally decided on a few based on their availability and my apparel goal for each kid.

After what seemed to be at least an hour in the store a female friend rolled in whom I surprised with my nonchalant 'Hey what's up?'. I didn't know if I was a) cool to be hip to my nieces and nephews or b) gay to be spending my Saturday afternoon at a Children's boutique. Anyway it was all good till my effort to be funny turned awkward with the fog in my head from my hangover not yet lifted. Friend: What are you doing here? Me: Um, you know I always hangout out in kids stores on the weekend and pick up chicks. Friend: Um, and do what? Pick up on married women. Owner (chimes in): We have a lot of pregnant women come in here. Me: (Speechless) Uh, yeah scratch that. I don't know what the hell I'm saying.

Thankfully my friend knew me well enough to not take anything I was saying at the moment as too strange and after an hour I'd finally decided on four shirts which the owner then wrapped for me.

Bottom line. If you've got nieces, nephews or special little ones in your life, take a moment to stop in here. 5 stars for coolness (these will be the coolest kids on the block back in VA) and kindness (as I mentioned the owner was super helpful). Prices aren't cheap though so bring your American Express ... Black.

What was once a gift shop is now another baby store.  Trendy and hipster clothing for ritzy kids from newborns to toddlers.  Perfect shop for the posh marina mommies and those seeking unique and fashionable gifts.
I actually was in the market for a baby shower gift.  I had a great time browsing the clothing and accessories.  Found a cute one-piece tee and a baby medical kit.  They have those slogan tees like "iRock" , "J'adore milk", "chick magnet", as well as stylish pants, other separates, etc.  Lots of adorable, sophisticated, pricey clothing and baby gear.
I guess if you want your baby looking elite and A list, this is a shop for you.  It is kinda fun to dress a baby like a baby, they have the rest of their lives to look otherwise.
It is a great shop and I like to support the local small businesses.  Different merchandise then the other baby shops in the neighborhood but same concept as Pumpkin on Sacramento, a pioneer shop for similar clientele.

    crappy customer service.

i walk in there cause they had the cutest baby shirts and i was looking for yo gabba gabba shirts for my 10 month old son.  when i walk in, i asked the lady who worked there, owned it, i could give a damn, and she gives me a disgusted "what???!!" response, and i'm taken by surprise because i don't think that's the way to respond to new customers in the store!!! so i repeat myself and she said flat out, no, with that ugly ass face still plastered on her.

i may not fit the bill of the typical clientele of the marina cow hollow but i am still a potential customer, beeotch. i should have messed up the folding of all the onesies she had laying out. screw her, i wasn't gonna spend my money on someone who could give a damn about my experience at that store.

i'm writing in caps so people could see a crappy review for such crap ass customer service.

i don't give reviews often and this is my first negative review... but it must be done.

this was my first time purchasing baby clothes and i've always walked by this place & thought it looked cute.  i was right, it was cute & had cute clothes.  the clothes however i thought were expensive for baby clothes, especially when you can go somewhere else and get a better outfit for the same price.  this is still not the reason for my review - my reason is because once i realized that i could get a whole outfit for the same price as a shirt from Bubble, it was too late - i had already made a purchase, which ended up being a fatal mistake because they do not offer refunds, only store credit.  not to mention the lady at the desk was less than nice about it.  i am young & don't have kids, nor to any of my friends, so what am i supposed to do with this store credit?  you guess it, nothing.

when i do have kids and when my friends have kids, you can bet i won't be going to Bubble...

I love Bubble for all their cute t-shirts and adorable kids clothes. I have a little girl and love their range of clothes but for all those moms, dads, family and friends trying to find cute boy clothes, this is the place to go. My girlfriends who have only boys tell me there is only cute clothes for girls out there, well I tell them to go to Bubble because they seem to understand this and go out of their way to find great things for boys too. Always found the staff to be very helpful as well.

    Hi Ms. Gaba Gaba-

I normally respect everyone's reviews as they are a matter of opinion but your review is a big stinky bunch of gaba gaba!!!  I was in the store being helped by the salesperson in question when you entered the store and asked the salesperson, "Do you carry Gaba Gaba tshirts"? At that point the salesperson looked at you in shock (I did as well) and responded, "What is Gaba Gaba"? You then responded, " Gaba Gaba is a kids tv show".  That was the end of your conversation with the salesperson, all of 2 minutes long, and in that 2 minute conversation you were able to determine that she was a "bitch", that she was rude and had a nasty attitude. Well lady you are full of Gaba Gaba! The salesperson was absolutely kind to you and there was not a hint of rudeness in her response towards you. She was a little puzzled as to what Gaba Gaba was???? As was I in truth but in the end no one was rude to anyone. I don't know why you felt the need to bash this young lady for no absolute reason but whatever rubbed you the wrong way, it definitely was not the salesperson. My advise to you is to go back to Gaba Gaba land!!!! If you choose to stay on earth then learn to be nice and give honest reviews!!! I am not a big yelper but I felt compelled to respond to this review as it is an absolute crock of Gaba Gaba!

And to the salesperson, sorry I don't know your name, thanks for helping me pick out 2 of the coolest outfits for my nephew, both of which were  1/2 off - sweet deal!. I will give it to him next week for his birthday. Thanks again for always having an awesome selection and great customer service. I am off to put my kids to bed.  Peace out and Gaba Gaba to all!!!

I am visiting from out of town and was looking for some special gifts for my sister in law (due in Dec).  I stopped by this store (in addition to many others in the area).  I thought the onesies/t-shirts were cute, with funny catch phrases for parents.  I bought a little cardboard book about the Red Sox.  When I got home and was peeling off the price tag, I found that the price on the book was $3 less than sticker price that I had been charged at Bubble.  I guess this is legal, because looking at the website it seems that they have done this with all their books, but I didn't see it at any other store and it seems really dishonest to me.  I would never shop here again, and I wouldn't recommend shopping here to anyone I know.

this store is just TOOO CUTE that it makes my teeth hurt ... not only is this a children's boutique store, it's also an activity center where they do lil fun stuff with the lil kids for an hour while their mommies are shoppin aways in the marina district ...  they have soo much cute clothes, from antik denim, juicy, true religion, etc ...

ended up getting a shirt that said "pooparazzi" SOOO cute.. TOOO CUTE! c'mon, u kno it was cute... it was like $60 but SOO worth it ... lol, it made me laugh when the employee asked me if i was from LA because she said that it wasn't that popular in SF but that LA people were all over that shirt ... GO FIGURE, we're all about papparazzis ..oh and another shirt, that was TOO cute, sesame street's ernie and bert and had the words "bringing sexy back" but can't beat the pooparazzi shirt .. ;D

oh wells ... it's def worth checking it out if u have lil babies of your own, nieces, nephews ...

If you are looking for a very special gift, or something fun and unique for your little one this is the spot. They are very friendly, helpful, and make the shopping experience fun. The owner Marina is often on hand to make recommendations and search for the items you need from other stores if they do not have it there. They take excellent care of their customers should you need any additional assistance. If there is ever an issue with any product even if it was on sale they do all they can to ensure a great shopping experience. Not a discount store, but worth it.
