We came here on a Friday night at around 8pm. The front area was empty when we walked in. I didn't realize how big the place is until I went all the way to the bar and saw a whole other room.

I usually complain about the waitresses in place, since NYC tends to have slow, unfriendly waitresses, BUT the waitress at bubble lounge was very nice and helpful. She kept coming in and checking on us to see if we needed anything, even though the place was starting to get packed.

They have a great wine selection by bottle. Only a couple of popular wines by glass (I found my fav wine region Cote Du Rhone by glass here).

Will come back again for sure.

A beautiful and classy lounge with 2 levels. My friends and I reserved a table on a friday night at 11pm. When we entered the lounge, the 1st floor was bustling with lots of people and had a very nice vibe. We were led downstairs since all the spots upstairs were full but we were soon given the option to move upstairs, which we did.

The Dj that night played a pretty good mix of hip hop and top 40s. It's not the best place if you want to dance though as there's no real dance space. Most people there were very content to just stand or sit on the comfy couches and plush chairs. Overall it's a pretty nice place to just hang out with friends over drinks.

    Bubble Barn.

    Large Lounge.

Half the women are size eight or larger. Some are even size ten or larger.

My hunch is that nobody who actually lives in TriBeCa has ever set foot in here. It's Jersey/Queens.

This is the type of place where the men's shirts are darker than their blazers or suits (black shirt with a grey blazer, etc..), which is the complete antithesis of prep style. A Wahlberg family Christmas.

On first blush, this place seems cute and stylish. However, after about ten minutes, it starts to look trashy.

I came here for a networking event, which was held on the lower floor. The space was good for the event, and I could imagine an even more packed event in this non-pretentious space. The only red wine by the glass, a cab mix, was very good ($13).

I'd definitely come back for a more intimate gathering, too. The upstairs was a bit more swanky and had more character than the bottom room.

A super cute lounge spot that reminds me of an eclectic living room.

Came here on a Tuesday night for a private birthday party. The entire downstairs was where the party was held which is an great size for a party of 50-75 people.
I like the way they have different seating clusters for groups of 2- 6. The chairs are super comfy.
The DJ was ON POINT!!! Old school R& B and hip-hop, which a little house... I was in dance music heaven. I wish there was an actual dance area...little hard to shake it next to people who just stand there.
Drinks were ok... they didn't have corona.. :( they are little on the expensive side, but that's trendy Tribeca for ya.

I'll come here again... It's not overcrowded, they have good music and that's just about all I need.

Step back in time with the decor and ambiance here .you almost expect to see old Hollywood celebs toasting each other ....and this vibe is exactly why my son's engagement party  could be no where else .

    Classy & elegant ....positively Swank
Fabulous Hors d'oeuvres , tip top Martini's ,wonderful champagne selection.
This is a great place for small and large gatherings and they have a few options/packages to choose from .

Also a great place to just enjoy an evening with that special someone ,or a girl's night out .

Be prepared to saunter like a cat on a hot afternoon ,soak up the energy and feel the vibe whilst the bubbly flows .

    Pricey but worth it !

    A Tribeca Gem !

Came on a Saturday Night (1/14/2012)
Pretty good music. (top 40, dance, hip hop). Crowd was classy, well dressed. No line, no cover, party of 7 girls easily accomodated with a table, with no prior reservation. What a pleasant surprise. No hassle at all. Had a great time. It had the right amount of people, full but not crowded.
Only cons were drinks are expensive and there's no dance floor. We danced by our table.
But still, I'd definitely come back.
Oh quick tip... This is one of those places that already adds 20% service charge to the bill. Keep an eye out for it.

Fancy schmancy lounge perfect for that special date / occasion.  We shared the chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream and caramelized bananas, out of this world!  She got the Brazilian sangria and I went for the orange old fashion, both exquisite and true to our tastes.

Speaking of old fashioned, loved the classic decor, straight out of an old school Paris brasserie I swear.

Thursday night, unbeknownst to me, is burlesque night!!  Wasn't sure how this was gonna turn out when I heard them announce that the "special performance" would be starting soon, but it was very classy and well done, made the night even better.

Bravo to Bubble Lounge, well done.

very nice spot for Madmen like night. From outside it looks like an average God Forgetton local bar but when i stepped inside I was pleasantly surprised by semi-regal interior slightly spiced with pricey brothel vibe. High ceilings, chandeliers, ruby red colored sofas, cushions and ornamented sparkiling tiles-

they have an amazing choice of champagne for bubbly devotees and appetitive hors-d'oeuvres.

Cons: lights are not dimmed enough, its a bummer especially when i forgot to put my make up on. Brightness kills all the romance and mystery that this place could wrap itself into.
there are not enough people on a weekday so dont expect to have fun night out. However, its a perfect date spot-very romantic and cozy. And be ready to spend solid stack of cash cuz bubbly tends to be expensive

Best spot to get your bubbly on in Tribeca!  Great for champagne and cocktails before a dinner out.  The lounge-like seating is comfortable and the list of bottles extensive.  It's also a fun spot as the night gets later...however, it becomes more of a party as the night goes on and less ideal for intimate conversation.

Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood and enjoy bubbly.  But be sure to bring your wallet as the drinks are not cheap!

A classy lounge with nicely dressed people. Came on a Friday night with a friend. There were some reserved seats, but got one immediately. We were only on the first floor. It was quiet enough to have a conversation, dim lighst and comfortable sofas.
I've passed by many times because I used to work in the area and saw private parties often. Should be nice for a private birthday party.

I arrived to the Bubble Lounge one cold and brisk winter evening (yeah, I've been meaning write this for a minute now) having no idea if this was gonna really be my 'thing' or not--champagne lounges sound a bit extra (yet I love a quality wine bar--does that make me a champagneist?)

What a great looking space and wonderful vibe. The layout and decor worked for me as I got to choose from a variety of seating options (cute and lounge-y up front? barfly chic? table talk tina?) and soaked in all of the creative artwork.

The dinero spent by the Bubble Lounge to get themselves seen by listing themselves with living social was well spent because I never would have known about them and I haven't stopped talking about them since!

I will say there was some delay with seating and service, mainly because everyone seemingly showed up at the same time. Seriously, one minute I'm waiting for my friend to arrive and them BAM, mad people walk in and the place is packed!

Eventually we we ate (nibbled--the portions are doll-like) and drank the following:

Mini Black Truffle Baked Potatoes (Sour Cream on the side)

Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies (Vanilla Ice Cream on the side)

    Bubbly Cider
(Absolute Pear, Creme de Gingembre, Pineapple Juice, Passion Fruit Puree, Passion  Fruit Puree, Champagne, Lime Juice, Muddled Apple)

    Bubble Bellini
(Enrico Prosecco, Peach Purée & Peach Schnapps)

    Lychee Martini
(Skyy Citrus Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Lime Juice, Lychee Puree)

    Champs-Elysees
(Graham Beck Brut, Hibiscus Flower and Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur)

Across the board, it was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and made sure to tell folks we knew about BL.

Nothing memorable at all about this place - went here only because my firm organized an afterparty. Usual wannabe-trendy-but-really-its-a-dive place like so many others, except this one is in Tribeca instead of the LES. The upstairs section is a lot better than downstairs, which reminds me of the dark basement where serial killers take their victims to be butchered.

An upscale lounge for people with a reserve section in the basement, this place is a place people go to dress up and hold a date at or hold their parties. Often closed for private events, this location has a lot of events - from the speed-dating over to wedding receptions.

There's a lot of champagne here but it's definitely not for the beer-swilling crowd. And they close the bar downstairs earlier than the upstairs, though.

    Bubble Lounge, GOSH!

I absolutely love everything about this place.

    What keeps me coming back:
    the decor is uber-chic,
the drinks and food are absolutely amazing...
    and of course...
the champagne list is truly impressive (it's a separate BOOK!)

Bubble's staff knows their stuff,  the ladies are attentive, fun, and  flirty (not to mention GORGEOUS!) and whatever comes to the table looks gourmet and artistic.

I come here for birthday parties, for Girl's Night Out, for a sexy date, for good music on weekends...it has it all!

    A true 5-star NYC spot!

Some might find reclining velvet couches a better alternative to chairs. In my opinion, the angle is not conducive to conversation. I expected a bespectacled older man to pop out, ask how I feel about my mother, and nod thoughtfully while scribbling on a notepad.

To my great surprise, there was only one waitress working last night. One. She was very polite, but it's hard to give every table more than a cursory glance when you are hustling back and forth without any help.

Previous reviews are spot on about the minuscule portion size. The appetizers could really use a 'roid hook up. It is not exaggeration to say that the potato skins were the size of the first two joints of my thumb. And I don't even have man hands!

Bubble lounge may have been hot way back when - but that's if you enjoy  overpaying for gimmicky drinks topped with champagne.

When a friend visited from SF, we intended to have a fun girls night out, and figured Bubble Lounge might be an appropriate place to begin our night - yes, our nightmare. The hostess was rude and gave us the "bitch, you dont look rich enough to chill here" scan - maybe she was right. When I saw the drinks list, i did a slight take, then I did a double take when I actually tasted the drinks. Repeat after me...

    really nothing special.

So, yes, the experience wasnt god awful, but i certainly didn't go running back....it really just wasn't anything special

If you've been to the Bubble Lounge in SF, I believe this is the same Bubble Lounge (as the matchbox had both the NY and SF addresses on them).  The NY Bubble Lounge is similar to the upstairs of the SF Bubble Lounge as far as decor, but the prices for drinks are surprisingly cheaper in NY (who would have thunk it?).  But I guess that's because shots are WAY smaller here than the ones they serve in SF.  They're served in this cute little miniature champagne glass looking cup...very appropriate for a place called the Bubble Lounge.

I came here on a Friday night to meet up with friends for drinks, and it's a great lounge to go to if you want to catch up with friends.  It was mellow enough, even on a Friday night, to be able to have conversation and hear the people you're talking to.  There are plenty of chairs and sofas around, so you won't be stuck standing up all night.  And the bouncer in the front isn't power tripping at all...very nice guy, but he will tell you to take off your hat inside.

However, the reason for my 2 star review was because when I was checking my credit card statement, I noticed that they overcharged me by $20.  My bill was $31 for 4 shots, and I left a $4 tip ($1 for each drink), so the total was $35...but my credit card statement showed that I had been charged $55.  And before you start thinking that I was hooking up the bartender or anything like that...nope.  This was the only round of drinks I got that night, so why in the world would I leave a $24 tip on $31 tab.  Doesn't make sense even if you want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they couldn't make out the handwriting.

So all in all, I wouldn't say not to go here, but I would caution to check your credit card statement in a few days to make sure you weren't being overcharged on the back end.

Came here with my boyfriend and sister because Another Room was too loud and crowded. We ordered a bottle of champagne and a bottle of red (blended). The waiter opened our champagne and a lot oozed and spilled onto the floor. Both the champagne and wine were OK. The menu overall was super expensive. We also tried the apple salad and duck meatballs, and a soft chocolate chip cookie served with ice cream, all of which were good.

Although there's a great atmosphere and ambience (feels very French burlesque) I would most likely not return due to the price points and the fact that my palette isn't selective with sparkling wines or champagne as I don't really care too much for either.

I came here on a Friday night after dinner. I was  impressed by the decor of this place and I was equally impressed by the prompt service. Although i didn't get any of the signature cocktails, I did get a chance to peep the menu and it looked quite yummy. Not knowing anything about champagne, I let my drinking companion do all the ordering and just stood there cluelessly twirling my hair and looking around. After all was said and done, the waitress promptly escorted us table, set up our bottle of champagne in ice, popped the cork, poured out two glasses, and left us to our own devices.

I think this would also be a cute spot to start out for a girls night out!

I was tempted to give it 2 stars because when my friends and I called to reserve space for a large birthday party (50+ people), they kept reassuring us that it would be no problem and that we didn't need to make a formal reservation because it doesn't get that crowded.  Um.  Hello!  It was packed!  Half of our friends couldn't get in :(  However, the manager tried her best to help us out.  Next time, I would just push harder on getting a formal space.

Anyway - I enjoy everything else about Bubble Lounge.  It's a very swanky space and has a great ambience!  I love champagne and Bubble has a nice menu of champagne cocktails.  The space is not really well tailored for large crowds, so I think your experience can be hit or miss, depending on how crowded it is that night.  The bartenders are quick, so you don't have to wait long (even when super crowded at the bar!).

After getting kicked out of one bar, we made our way over to BL which was going to be open till the rest of the wee hours we were willing to stay out. Now I've been by the SF one tons of times but never managed to go in, and have missed a number of events there. Leave it to me to cross the country before experiencing it as the original.

I like the balance of retro and modern chic design. Dimly lit with large, comfortable lounge chairs to relax in. Had a few of their signature cocktails, some good convo and definitely some interesting people watching. Don't try and go down the stairs towards the back door. It makes the managers that work there very nervous. I honestly thought it was the way to the restrooms! 4.25 stars.

Remember fantastic Latin music blaring on this particular evening. Couples dancing in pairs rocked the place! Champagne was bubbly fizzy and flowing. Good times were had by all. It's a rich crowd, or at least it was that night, lot's of older, yacht type gentleman with khakis and their collars up, accompanied by their pearl wrapped wives. None the less, the music made everyone laid back. I've been back since and remember having a good time still. I'd def recommend this place to anyone.

Disclaimer:  SF location was a fantastic experience, I was actually a bit disappointed in this location since our experience at the San Fran location was the extreme opposite and one of the best experiences.

We had coordinated out arrangements for 10 about 2 weeks in advance.  We arrived about 15 minutes late and they had put our reservations down for the night below on a Thursday, that caused our table to be occupied.  So they sat us by the door until it was free.  I do have to give them credit for accommodating, but make sure you get the reservation correct, we had emailed about it for a couple weeks in making the arrangements.

Being avid champagne drinkers I was looking to getting it on.  Now has always the selection is good, but I would hope being a Champagne bar so we opted for our 2 favorites the Billcart salmon Rose and Krug.  Service was horrible and for what you pay for a party of 10 drinking fine champagne, I think warranted better service.  In reading other reviews I have the same complaints - Having to flag the server down and ask for refills.

I was obviously part of the ordering party and the server never even bothered to pour me a glass of my $450 bottle of champagne or  but made sure everyone else did including my male counter part.  In fact everything I ordered or asked for I had to ask my Matthew because the server really didn't pay me attention.

I at one point ordered the cheese plate with balsamic and candied nuts.  Instead a marshmallow and strawberry found platter came out "compliments of the house"  But no cheese platter.  Seriously were is my cheese platter and for over a triple digit bill, I don't think strawberries are anything special - I see them as a staple for Champagne.

Anyway, I had to order my cheese plate again, which came out with no balsamic reduction like it was suppose to, just the candied nuts, nor did she bother to tell me what kind of cheese there were.

MUSIC - WTF, I thought for a second I walked into the 1990's.  For a second I thought it was karaoke!  What was really weird one of our guests loved the DJ, I thought the music was really bad remixes of Hot Tunes 1992.

Overall I wouldn't return here but I will continue to go the San Fran location which somehow got it right.

I love everything about champagne.  Except, maybe, overcharging for it.

My friend had a film shown in Tribeca and we stopped her for the after party.  Lots of artists and filmmakers and actresses hugging and kissing and laughing, and me thinking how gd far from everything Tribeca seems.  As I was there for moral support, I ordered a glass and it was expensive and mediocre.  I want to say I'd come here again but I likely wouldn't the sparse seating areas were just not luxe enough based on the drink prices to lure me back.

Had a taste of this place at the Yelp Country Club Event and was excited to visit. Went here on a Friday night with the girls and had a good time - mostly because of the atmosphere of the BL and the good conversation. The service was lackluster, our waitress wasn't really around when we needed her and when she was she kept taking the menus so each time she back we had to ask for another menu to pick a different drink or dessert. Finally, I just hid the dang thing so we didn't have to keep asking!!!

The champagne cocktails were just okay. I had the 'Pear to Remember' (Champagne Paul Goerg Brut, Pear Purée, Cointreau) which was forgetful and the 'La Pompadour' (Champagne Taittinger Brut, Pomegranate Juice & Absolut Mandrin) which was a step in the right direction. Overall, it was just okay and I was expecting to have my socks-rocked for $16 a pop!!! Sad day. :(

However, on the bright side, the space is pretty cool. Tons of old fashion coaches and chairs which make it feel very homey and inviting, a DJ spinning music at a good volume so you can still talk, and awesome ball light fixtures that I kept staring at like a kid. Plus, the desserts were amazing we ordered the Chocolate and Caramel Fondue (Fruits, Marshmallow and Assorted Confections) and THE BEST WAS some Raspberry Ice Cream sandwich concoction!! So good - see the pic!!

Would I go back you ask? Yea, but I'd go with a date that was paying. ;)

    Cheers!

I attended an Asian Singles Meetup held here and invited one guest.  Our group utilized the Krug Room in the lower level for mingling, sipping champagne with chocolate, and learning more of each other playing the ice breaker box game.  Bubble Lounge is a good venue for speed dating or a singles gathering as well as a special post-dinner date.

When specifically requesting my all time favorite renowned Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Brut from Paris, France, the bar tender confidently acknowledge my order as he is definitely no stranger in the industry.  Whoa!  Someone actually knows what Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Brut is aside from the French or wine enthusiasts.  For one glass of any champagne is priced at $16.00 which is average yet reasonable.  The decor including facilities are adorned with gargantuan replica champagne bottles.  I have yet to taste Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Rosé Maison Fondée as I LOVE champagne!

The Champs-Élysées Champagne was also served bubbly flavorable.  Bubble Lounge serves all champagne in champagne glass flutes, which for $16.00 one should not expect plastic or cups.

Want to impress a date? Go to the Bubble Lounge. Have a special anniversary coming up? Go to the Bubble Lounge. Celebrating a promotion at work or sign a new client? Go to the Bubble Lounge.

You get the idea -- if you like champagne, have something to celebrate or just want to leave an impression on someone, check this place out.

I recently went to their location in the Tribeca section of New York City and cannot wait to go back.

The swanky decor, low lit lights and candle covered tables make for an intimate date, girls night out stop, classy party location or upscale client meeting spot. But, be prepared to spend some money - champagne by the glass starts at $15 and goes up to $24.

They do, however, run specials as well as participate in group coupon promotion sites like Groupon and Social Living -- which is how we learned of the place. It worked out they had also had a sale, so between three of us for the cost of one drink each we got an entire bottle.

    Some tips if you go:

*Ask the server to suggest a champagne. We each told the server our tastes and then asked him to suggest one that we would all like. He did, and we really liked. Plus, their champagne bottle menu is as big as a karaoke song list book.

*Don't pour the champagne yourself. After our first glass we went to pour the next round, and the server came right over and poured it instead. They continued to make sure our glasses were never empty.

    * Make reservations and go a little later. We went about an hour after they opened, and although they immediately asked if we had reservations, the place had only a few people in it. But, the longer we sat there, the more people started to come in. From what I hear the place gets packed the later it is.

Bottom line, this place is classy and swanky, but also not stuffy. It's not somewhere I can afford to go every weekend, but it's definitely a place to go for special occasions or if you're trying to impress someone.

Way overpriced.  I mean, the decor is nicely done and there is a huge selection of champagne.  But everything else is just ok for the price:

Service:  Ok.  They brought the food and drink.  And the bartender was helpful in recommending a champagne- let's give him 4 stars.  But it wasn't anything spectacular.

Champagne- Not a huge fan, so maybe that's why I was not thrilled.  I tasted "C's" champagne and it was alright.  I actually had a Long Island and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Food- the dessert fondue was fine.  I've had much better and could probably make it up real quick at home from stuff I could find at 7-11.

Ok, fine, etc. really summarizes the entire experience.  But I think there are much better places to spend your money and have a lot more fun.  But if you really really love spending $18+  (way +++ for most) for champagne, you might really like it.

What can I say about the Bubble Lounge? I seriously couldn't have been more disappointed than if I was 5 and just found out Santa doesn't exist.
This was my last stop on a night out with friends and I was sorely disappointed by the service, the crowd, and the selection of wines. This place is supposed to be a champagne bar but their selection of champagne was truly terrible.
All in all this is an overpriced bar with unfriendly people where you can't even find your favorite champagne. Not worth it in my opinion.

    Santé, Bubble!

The space is beautiful and charming.  Champagne art adorns the exposed brick walls.  Dim lighting and plush red couches are perfect for lounging.

Like all Manhattan nightlife venues, experience varies based on the night you go / the parties they're hosting, etc. Romantic happy hour in the winter.   Late night / year round Bubble lounge is ideal for groups.

The bar serves more than just bubbles.... but if you visit a champagne bar, order the champagne!

I went to Bubble Lounge to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was her choice and when I checked out the menu I was a little disheartened to see that the lowest price for a drink was about $15. However, it was her birthday and that's where she wanted to go, so I figured it couldn't be that bad.

We had a reservation for 9:30 on Saturday evening for 7 people. When we were seated in the lounge there was only enough room for 6 people, so two of the girls had to share a chair. No one seemed to mind too much about sharing so we didn't say anything to the host and the host didn't seem to care enough to offer us another seat. We each ordered a drink, most of us had a glass of champagne, and two of the girls ordered dirty martinis. I ordered the pomegranate and mandarin champagne.

When our drinks arrived, my champagne was given to a friend who had ordered the  pear bellini. When my friend inquired as to why her drink was a pink (pomegranate) color, she was reassured it was the peach bellini. It wasn't until after my friend had sipped my glass that the waitress corrected herself and moved the glass in front of me. To top it all off the champagne was room temperature. I was annoyed.

The two orders of dirty martinis came out sans olives. When one of my friends asked for the olives, the waitress brought out one skewer of olives for her drink and ignored the other drink missing olives right next to it. My other friend had to get the waitress' attention again to get a skewer of olives for her drink. Needless to say, the service was not great.

In addition, it was a balmy September night and the windows were opened to give some air circulation which just made the room feel sweaty and hot, especially for the two people who had to share a chair.

All in all, I think this lounge is over-priced, the drinks are mediocre, and the service was bad. I wouldn't recommend this bar.

Bubble Lounge disappoint me in a way that I even don't want to spend too much time writting about it. If the place is cozy, intimate, beautiful or not... well it could be. Not my fave style tho. Mostly I want to honor the hostess who was one of the nicest I have ever meet. Unfortunately her name was "hide" because it was really loud. At least the DJ was good and we enjoy some of the MJ old hits very well mixed.

Being Bubble lounge I guess is one of the best offers for champagne lovers, endless offer all kinds, by glass, bottle and Champagne Cocktails, however for another kind of drinks I have try much better. I needed long time to decide which one I wanted since the offer is also wide and all of them looks very attractive. We decided finally to try Champs-Elysees (Graham Beck Brut, Hibiscus Flower and Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur) served in a flute cup, and The Calabria (Hennessy VS, Gingerale, Lemon Juice, Muddled Strawberries) served in a short glass superpacked with ice and strawberries pieces. I didn't like it any of them. My friend ate the flower in the bottom of he Champs-Elysees and it was good. She told and I readed it in her face. Interesting.

Bubble Lounge is just about the ideal lounge in my mind. Swanky, cozy, great atmosphere. It has its own theme (that would be the Champagne) to distinguish itself, but one needn't be a Champagne connoisseur to enjoy the place. The back area near the bar was happening (that would mean noisy) and would be a great spot to hang with some friends or meet new ones, while the couch wall up near the front fulfilled the needs of those of with a little more intimacy (that would mean two people on a date).

I had to go with one of their specialty Champagne based concoctions (Champagne Bollinger, Stoli Orange, Grenadine and Orange Juice) and it was very tasty, and unique (that would mean it was unique for me - my first Champagne-based cocktail). Service was most excellent.

My only grievance would have to be with the prices. I'm not saying they're not appropriate or worth it (they are, for the most part) but it has the effect of putting Bubble Lounge more into the "special occasion" category rather than the casual "lets stop by here and down a few drinks" category (that would mean, I'm going back, just not all that often).
