Palo Alto, CA
I happened upon this little store while I was in downtown Los Altos. The shop owner is super nice and helpful. There is no sign on the storefront, but the owner said that they are working on it. It's not your typical consignment/Goodwill store..this is a gently used or new baby and kids boutique shop.
I enjoying browsing at the items here..I took my time and felt very welcome. The items are well priced...the brands are a range from carter's to upscale items, which gives people a lot of options. I asked her about crib sheets, blankets etc. because I did not see them on display and the owner told me that she has stuff in the back which she was very happy to show. I loved shopping here and will definitely go back!!! -

Truth be told, I really want to give this place two or three stars but I give it four stars because I like supporting local businesses, especially those run by women.
Now why do I think it truly deserves two or three stars? I am the Queen of used (pre-owned) shopping for kids. I am one of those moms that goes to every single consignment store from SF to the South Bay and I go to tons and tons of church/charity rummage sales to pick up clothes, toys, and gear for my kids because garage sales aren't cheap enough.
Yes, I understand that this store is a boutique, but you would think that in the Los Altos area, the brands would be of higher quality. Unfortunately, it's a kids consignment store with very limited stock as in no more than one small rack for each age group ranging from 0 - 5 ish. I was hoping that with the limited stock, you would see more high end brands such as Jacadi, Hartstrings, and me and Jessica Alba's personal favorite, Ella Moss rather than mostly Gymboree, Gap, and Cherokee. According to the owner, the high end brands sell out very quickly so in theory, you would need to be lucky or visit the store every day. As for the toys and gear, it's also very limited and what gear they have in the store, is just the average swing that you can buy for a lot cheaper at Kid to Kid in Santa Clara.
Now for the positives... I do have to say that the very few pieces of high end brands that I saw in the store truly were very well priced. There was a NWT Jacadi dress for only $26 and a Marie Chantal smock for $15. The owner is very friendly and the shop has a small collection of new items.
I definitely will need to visit this store frequently to snatch up the high end brands but for those that are looking for a consignment store to buy discounted kids clothing of average brands, definitely shop at Kid to Kid or the Kidz Shoppe. But if you are in the market for some expensive kids clothing but don't want to pay the new price, then shop frequently at Bubble and you might get lucky. -

I came to this store after reading about it on Yelp. The store is small and needs better signage to show their name on the street, but it's a cute shop. They opened not too long ago and their inventory is nice, but really limited. I was in the market for infant girls 0-6 months and they really only had one tiny rack of stuff. They do have new items and gently worn. Prices are pretty reasonable and the new items are somewhat pricey, but it's Los Altos so it's on par for the area.
The gal who owns the shop is super nice and helpful. I live in Belmont so I don't get down to Los Altos too often and wouldn't make a special trip to come there just for this store, but I would go back in a few months to see if their inventory has grown. -

My friend and I stumbled on this place while walking around Los Altos. I think the lady who runs the store is very nice and personable.
I watched her interact with her customers and she was kind and not pushy and helpful.
We bought a nice outfit for a friend's first baby and she carefully wrapped it in a beautiful box.
I'd recommend this place for your baby's needs.
Tip: Some items are new and some are gently worn. -

Although the women who run the shop are very nice, I have bought some items there that were supposed to have been cleaned but were not. The worst one was a very large rug that the owner specifically told me she had clean with a carpet cleaner. When I unrolled it in my sons room and put him the bed for the night I noticed a large stain. I wasn't upset about it because it was only $25 for the rug and I know that when I buy used things they won't be perfect, and that's ok. But when I went into my sons room in the morning the smell was unbearable! That rug was full of mold spores and we had to have it hauled away by waste management. This rug should never have been for sale in that shop...or anywhere.

Just opened a few weeks ago in the space previously occupied by Green Fairy (and All About Mom&Me before that).
They now accept clothing from individuals and local school fundraisers to sell on consignment, and the seller gets 40% of the sale price.
Selection so far is nice but limited, but prices are decent for gently used items ranging from $1.99 for some very cute hats to $10+ for nicer brand-name items (Petit Bateau, etc). Most of their clothes are nicer brand names. Also have some cute, new items like Stephen Joseph raincoats and ponchos, as well as toys, books, etc. Worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.
No website, but they're on Facebook. -

What a great discovery! We bought a baby swing at the store today and my baby loved it. The price was right. The store is super cute and has new and gently used items. Mimi, the owner, was super nice too. We will definitely go back.

My kids are having growth spurts by the minute, or so it seems. I found this store on craigslist after reading an article about recycling kids clothing. Of course, I had to look them up on yelp. It's a fairly new store so I decided to stop by for a visit. I wasn't expecting a whole lot since most consignment stores I've been to have nothing really special to rave about. As I got a closer look, I started getting excited. It was like walking into a botique shop. Everything was well organized and very clean. There was even a sweet, clean smell lingering around the store which you won't find in a used clothing store. The owner, Millie, is very friendly and helpful. You can tell that she has put a lot of thought in her shop. Everything on the racks from toys, to books to clothing, have been meticulously detailed. The clothes on the racks are all pressed and washed. Everything in the store looks brand new and some are. Per Millie, she will only take items that are very well kept ,which means, absolutely no stains, rips or any other blemish. As I started looking around, I saw many unique items that you won't otherwise see in retail stores. There was a really cute red coat that caught my eye, It was made by a french designer. I ended up walking out with two ponchos for my girls which would probably cost me well over $50 retail but I only paid $17. She doesn't have a lot of inventory for bigger kids but she's working on it. Other available items include a variety of nursery gear, maternity clothing, toys, books, diaper bags, nursing pillows and many more. I can't wait to go back and do more treasure hunting next time.

Thank goodness for Bubble Kids!!! Our 18 month old Paola is never without just the right look, fit, style & most importantly price. The service is friendly, helpful & se habla español! I'm so lucky to Live near by, but if I did not it's right in the heart of Los Altos and worth the trip with all the children centered shops, restaurants and bookstores near by.

Second hand clothes in excellent condition and for really really cheap prices. Totally worth the visit. I will come back for sure. They also have used toys for sale. My daughter was playing around as I was shopping, very convenient. The owner is very nice and helpful. Made me feel very comfortable. If you are not into second hand stuff, there are also new items, isn't that nice? Love the store. Highly recommend it!

Store is extremely organized with a wide selection of clothes for a variety of ages. The owner is very attentive - she took the time to look in the back for something I was looking for (that wasn't on the floor). I found the prices to be quite reasonable and I'll definitely keep this store on my radar.

Very cute store. Well organized and tidy, with a great little play area for kids. The owner is super friendly and helpful. The selection isn't huge, but the items are of good quality and in great condition. Will definitely return!
