Review from Ben R.
I found this place to be middle of the road, a poor draft selection for such a large place, however the location is convenient.
The food we ordered was quite acceptable all around, $1 more to upgrade to the onion rings is well worth it. They were not overly breaded or soggy with oil. The wings could have used a little extra sauce, but the flavor was pretty good.
As for the experience, the TVs are well positioned. Our waitress didn't seem to understand what was going on, she brought us the wrong beer, but ended up taking it off the bill, food was a little slow. I wouldn't mind coming back if I was in the area, your options are limited.
Added bonus: they just redid the bathrooms. (spring '12) -

We've gone three times and will never go back. It's clearly a "local" hangout that doesn't like outsiders to come in. The wait staff has been slow every time and the other people there don't enjoy you in their bar.

I came to Bubba's for an Oklahoma State alumni football watch party. I didn't know what to expect from a name like Bubba's but I figured it could either go good or bad.
The parking is pretty bad so plan on finding somewhere else, like the bank across the street. When you walk in it feels like an Icehouse in the middle of Houston, which I dig.
Our waitress was pretty slow, but she was dealing with a lot of people in Orange. The burger was tasty and the fries were good. Nothing amazing but still pretty nice. A friend had the cheese fries and loved them, only ate about half of the order because it was a crazy huge portion.
The beer is only served in bottles :( but I guess thats a first world problem.
I liked how they had a sign below their TV's telling you what football game they would be showing. They also have a lot of those TV's so pretty much anywhere there was a good spot. By the end of the night the place started filling up with a fun and young crowd. Will have to keep this in mind for the next time I go out.
Check out an OSU game here if you bleed orange. -

I went to Bubba's on a Tuesday night and had dinner and a few drinks. Prices were very reasonable, the food was very good (not amazing) and service was excellent. The only problem was the karaoke that started about 9 pm. The music was too loud.
I'll probably go back, but maybe on another night of the week. -

We are OSU alumni and went to Bubba's for our first watch party. I was happy we did. The burgers were small but had a great flavor and were plenty greasy for bar food! Cheese fries were also yummy and beer was reasonably priced.
We took our kids and their friends and they were the only kids there. But, it was a day game so I think that was fine. I would not have taken the kids if it were a night game.
Overall, I liked the place. It was a great place to get a tasty burger and cold beer and there were a ton of TVs. I liked it and will go back. -

Oh Bubba's. Been a while since we last hung out. But from what I remember, you had so many TVs, great bar food and cold pops sitting nicely in my table's bucket that our server constantly refilled ... until it was *time* to go home.
I've only been to Bubba's on big game nights - baseball and basketball - so I don't know how their everyday scene is like. But with a happy hour starting at 2pm, I wouldn't care. Just pour me a cold one, please. And while you're ESPNing, do give their chicken tender basket a try. -

We drive past Bubba's continually and from its unassuming exterior and small parking lot overcrowded with large trucks we always joked that the place must be loaded with grumbly past their prime pot bellied men chewing tobacco, drinking beer and reminiscing about the good ol' days... boy were we wrong!! We had to fight our way past all the college age kids watching basketball to get a table (fair enough it is march madness) and the mood inside was pretty chilled and unpretentious - just a typical laid back sports bar.
Beer is cold, wait staff are attentive and friendly and the multitude of TVs are always tuned to sports.. we'll be back! -

I go here for OSU watch parties. The atmosphere is always fun, and the waitresses work super hard to accommodate our large parties. Beer prices are reasonable. The food itself is mediocre - standard bar food. I only order it because I'm there and I'm hungry but wouldn't go there just for dinner.

It was a Friday night and I wanted a burger and beer to start the weekend. Bubba's from appearances is a very inviting, non-pretentious place. Like most things in life, looks are deceiving.
Maybe its was because I was hanging out in the wrong section of the bar, mingling with a bad clique, but this place just made me uncomfortable. Not inviting. Outsiders not welcome.
Beyond the people, service was unacceptably slow. The burger was good and the beer was cold but I can get that at lots of places. -

From the outside, this place looks like your typical college frat boy hang out... once inside, that changes. For a Friday evening, I was surprised this place was practically dead! It's a pretty big space and there were no more than about 20 people there. Now normally, I'm all for places that aren't crowded with balls to the walls, but for it being so slow you think you'd get attention from the waitresses. No! They were very unwelcoming! I think what bothered me more was the fact that this place closed at midnight (MIDNIGHT!) and we were being rushed out. WTF?
I may try going back another night to see if there's any difference... but it might be a while to get over the ill feelings I have toward this place.Listed in: I want my money back!

Bubba's has reopened! I was told by my waitress the former manager had a little problem with TABC and that's why they were closed for a few months for "remodeling." It's now under new management and everything inside is the same; full bar, buckets of beer, only the menu has been scaled back a little. Still a great place to watch games and drink a few cold ones. One minor change, the menu states they will charge an extra $1 per split tickets, really? I guess we were lucky, they didn't charge us that day. Welcome back Bubba's.

Came here for lunch and got the burger basket with onion rings. The rings were good but the burger is bland. Ten bucks with tax and tip. The inside has a lot of tvs giving it credibility for a sports bar; however I probablly would not come here again.

This place has horrible customer service. My softball team plays for Sportsmonkey, and we get coupons for free pitchers of beer. So 9 of us went into this place to order food, and get a pitcher of free beer. We got a lot more than that.
When trying to use our coupons the waitress ripped one out of my boyfriend's hand, and said just one while storming off. A teammate and I went up to the bar to ask for the manager, there wasn't one there.
The bartender walked off when I was speaking to her. She called the manager to come up, because the tap on the Miller Lite wasn't working.
While still trying to order from the bartender our waitress came up to my friend, and asked, "why are you being such a JEW about a pitcher of beer?" Which by the way, my friend is Jewish.
Finally, the manager, Anthony showed up. After speaking to him, we got the situation some what settled. On top of everything else, the food was way overpriced, the service was horrible, and the staff there is unprofessional.
Before we left, Anthony, the manager came back over with a huge wad of dip in his mouth, to ask if we were happy with the service. Nice gesture, but we could hardly understand him with the avocado seed size dip in his mouth. -

Had a lay over at Bush Intercontinental @ 5:30 on May 4th. Only had about 30 minutes to grab a nice cold one before starting on another flight to my destination. There were 2 bartender and lovely lady and a grumpy old, big guy who was slower than molasses! I stood there at the bar for nearly 15 minutes before I spoke up and asked if I could get a drink, which he replied in a snooty manner that he would be right with me once he put down a napkin and walked away to do absolutely nothing. Then tried to pawn me off on the other bartender, which I would have rather her give me a drink instead of him. I've been in the restaurant industry for over 15 years now, and that big guys attitude when I said I would that go get a beer from someplace else who didn't treat me like crap. I'll never come back to your place. Flying is already stressful enough, we don't need to have rude, snooty people make it even more stressful.
