Because of it being very outdated and a little worn out It's a bit of a dive restaurant. However, the burgers are outstanding and the fries are also quite tasty. I think the staff may need a vacation but overall it's a decent place to stop in and get a quick bite to eat.

First things first, strip mall joint's boasting "American Food" and "Mexican Food" always make me a little nervous. Especially when they have a menu longer than the US constitution...
First impression as I walked in the door was dive. I looked around trying to figure out what was going on because it wasn't apparent if I should seat myself, or wait to be seated. The only word I could find to describe it was "gross." I read once, I believe in Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations," that if the front of the house isn't clean, don't expect the back to be either... and they were so filthy I almost walked out. As I turned the waitress finally greeted me, and I was too hungry to be rude and walk out.
The burger I had was mediocre, at best, lacking in flavor in the meat and the veg was pretty low quality ... but then again, maybe the ick-factor of the place dampened my palate. The wait staff was inattentive, at best, but finally warmed up right as I was about to leave (convenient, methinks not). The place was cheap, but I'm not willing to settle for sub-par food when I could go to McDonald's for the same price and probably get something that tasted better (and as a rule, I don't eat fast food...).
I think I'll be skipping it next time. -

A girlfriend and I went to this small hole-in-the-wall place on a Monday morning. Extremely small and as in a previous review, I didn't know if we were to seat ourselves or what.
Service was slow. She was slow to take our order, slow to serve us and the place was NOT that busy.
I ordered an omelet and it came to me partially cooked. I couldn't choked down the rest because my stomach was turned. My eggs should not be runny. Yuck! The home style potatoes were the only thing that was good.
I will NEVER go back to this place. -

Always a good place to go for basic diner fare. Good burgers and burritos, also great for a hangover breakfast!

We've been for breakfast a few times. Good breakfast choices. Good, hot, fluffy pancakes...yummy breakfast burritos...omelets.
Coffee is sometimes not very hot. Look for a coupon to keep the check down.
Haven't had lunch or dinner yet, but have heard good things about burgers and tacos. -

Our family decided to try this whole in the wall restaurant hoping for a hidden gem. We went for dinner and it was definitely a "meh" experience. The waitstaff was friendly and nice, the atmosphere was what one would expect in a small diner, but the food was on the bland side.
I think we'll definitely be back to try out their breakfast based on previous reviews! -

OK, this review pertains to breakfast at Bubba's as that is pretty much all I've ever had there. Yep, this is a basic diner-style bacon-and-eggs type of a place, and I love it. Get there early enough and there is a cheap breakfast special - eggs, hash browns, toast, and (2) bacon or sausage for $5.25. Bargain!
3 Brothers Restaurant isn't too far away, and they are also good for breakfast in Cameron Park, but Bubba's is cheaper, quicker, and Susan is our favorite waitress anywhere. Yay Bubba's! -

Stopped in for lunch around 2:30 the other day. Place was empty. Server had no energy but sure loved to talk.
The food--ordered the French Burger. It was great! like a patty melt but also with bacon, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, pickle and tomato. Great meat on the burger, didn't look preprocessed. Fries were also golden brown, crispy and salty, just like I like them.
I'll definitely go again. A great burger and fries lunch for a fair price. -

This place is a basic diner type place for sure, and does a nice job of it. I had the Fajita Omelet for breakfast, and thought it was pretty decent by diner-food standards. Also, [relatively] healthy compared to the other orders at my table. It's good ol' fashioned American Cookin', and as such doesn't have many frills. Pretty sure that I'll be back here soon!

Good food. Good price. Waitress was very busy and yet did an A+ job. We live nearby and will check it out again. Maybe breakfast next time.
