My dinner group decided to try this place out, mainly in part due to their $5 entrees (Different Special for each weekday evening) and $3 glass of house wine before 7 p.m.
Wednesday was Ravioli with Zooma Zooma Sauce - it was very tasty.
We all tried the Ravioli and one person got the baked ziti with meat sauce. It was all good.
For dessert we all shared the Mama M's Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie - Yum! and the Chocolate Gelato - again Yum!
Service was fine, we did not experience what some reviewers talked about.
The ambiance was nice, both booths and tables, dimmed lighting, no windows so it really got dim once they dimmed the lighting, huge bar area with T.V.'s, I really enjoyed the experience. If I am over near Whitlock for dinner and am craving Italian, I will stop back in. -

I'm going to chalk our experience up to everyone having different taste buds. I really want to like this place. It's so close to home, it's absolutely beautiful inside. The staff is so friendly, and the owners very approachable and outgoing. It would be a great place to meet friends for wine and apps, or dinner and conversation. But I am a very picky eater. And I should also add, I cook a lot. It is rare I see something on a menu I have not dabbled with myself. That can make eating out at times pure bliss, or not.
We had calamari, which was cooked nicely, and came with a spicy marinara sauce. The crab cakes were recommended to us because they were entirely lump crab meat with no fillers and had an interesting sounding sauce on the side. They were as our waiter described...but I would have prefered seasoning in the crab meat to layer with the flavors of the sauces. Our dessert looked beautiful: a giant portion of Tiramisu. The marscapone cream was delicious, however it was drizzled in chocolate syrup instead of the shaved chocolate I would have chosen.
This restaurant is definitely a part of the community. I wish the owners the best of luck for years to come. There is a separate dining room for groups and parties. With the prices on the menu not sure if we will be back though. -

I was so excited to eat at Bubbalini's because I am new to the area and love Italian food. My culinary background is in Mediterranean cuisine so I was sure I would be in for a treat but was completely disgusted with the food. The salad was horrible and the fried stuffed olives do not keep to truth of menu. The salad tasted like dirt (don't think the lettuce was washed) and the olives ended up being a big glob of fried cheese with a thick breading and minced olives.
The sad part is that the food was not the worst part. I ate one bite of my salad and then 1 1/2 olives and sent both items back saying that they were inedible. The owner then came out and told me his food was world renowned and that he would not return any of my money. The funny thing is that I had not asked for my money back but just wanted to have something in front of me that tasted good. He lacked class and so does the restaurant. Do not recommend to anyone unless you want bad food and bad service. -

We went here not too long ago and we loved it! It is a great place to have a family meal or a romantic night out. Victoria was our server and did a wonderful job in taking care of us. We had the Calamari, which was great! Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything was hot and fresh. The atmosphere was very nice. There are pictures of Italian people lining the walls while 'Ole Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) sings in the background. It is reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. All in all, we would definitely go back!!
