We went to a number of liquidators looking for furniture for our new startup. I can tell you that Tim really gets it. He knows how to make deals happen and he understands his business. There is a reason why he went from his garage to being one of the largest liquidators in the area. They have an enormous selection of high quality new and used office furniture. He prices everything himself so you know that you won't overpay and he is consistent with pricing.
While its probably possible to troll through craigslist and find cheaper deals here and there, Tim and BT is worth their weight in gold in just getting everything you need done quickly and delivered so painless and hassle-free at great prices! Thanks Tim, you'll definitely get an honorable mention in the book! heh.
Just a tip, if you bring in a 12-pack of michelob ultra, he'll give you the friends and family discount. -

Went here this afternoon in search of cork boards, white boards, and display cases. Didn't find the display case I need, but this place is huge, has a ton of great stuff, and they have great prices! Left with three pieces in good condition for less than I expected. I totally recommend this place and will be coming back.

I found these guys on Craigslist while looking for a bookcase. I needed to match one we had borrowed and trashed (oops). I found the EXACT bookcase here for $30 bucks, it was in a bit better condition than the one I had borrowed.
Anyone, they have a couple of acres of warehouse space (no exaggeration) dedicated to used office furniture, with a smaller showroom of new stuff up front. If you have to furnish an office, come here and negotiate a cheap price for used stuff in good shape. A lot of nice stuff, plus a HUGE collection of secure file cabinets and desks from ex military contractors. The sales staff is great, and the warehouse staff is very helpful. We had to remove the back seat of my car, the guys happily helped me out.
It doesn't get any better than this. -

If you are looking for office equipment on the cheap, this is the place to go. I couldn't believe that HON two drawer files were only $30! What a deal.
Lots and lots of very nice office chairs when we went by today. I would highly recommend looking here before paying full price somewhere else. Also, the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. -

We picked up bunch of stuff including conf. room table, chairs, filing cabinets and cubes from them. Tim is an excellent sales person and very nice guy. They definitely can give you a good deal on used office equipment. To those who are looking for a great deal, I would suggest to just go straight to these guys. No reason to shop around when these guys give you the best price there is. I personally think we couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else for quality of the furniture that we got.

Also, the YELP phone number 408.263.0804 is correct. I have found that other websites may have an incorrect phone number. I asked them about that and they said they knew about it, tried to change it, but haven't had any success. -

The building is MASSIVE and they have a ton of stuff. Everything from top notch Herman Miller Aeron's (around $500) to equipment that looks straight out of a chemical lab. Although I was unable to find what I was looking for, I ended up spending an hour exploring the multiple rooms and left with a very positive opinion of the employees and the company as a whole. If you are in the market for used office furniture this is a great place to go!
Knowing what they have - If I need office furniture in the future, this is the place I will go. -

I had gotten tired of going through $300 chairs from various office supply stores. I happened to be in the Bay Area and decided to see what they had over at BT Express. I ended up buying a "like new" Steelcase Criterion that would have cost me over $800 brand new for much less!
If you are in the market for office furniture you could save yourself some $$$! -

Out standing! My wife and I went down to BT Express Liq last Saturday, just an hour before they closed, to buy four office desks, a conference table, chairs and some other stuff for our new office. Tim, the owner stayed an hour late to help us out and gave us a killer deal. We saved over a thousand dollars compared to another used furniture outlet in SF and saved about five thousand compared to buying new stuff. Super nice people and very fare pricing. We then used one of their delivery contractors "Mikes" to get the furniture to our office and setup. Again, outstanding service. It was a tuff upstair location. They did a great job. Everything showed up in great shape and was setup right.
Our new KO Websites office is looking great, thanks to BT Express and Mikes delivery service. Thanks guys!

Staff was extremely helpful, and someone guided me around the large warehouse and helped me make my decision.

When I phoned about standing desks, the receptionist suggested that they had all sorts of new and used stuff, and I should come on down and check 'em out. What she didn't mention was that they were closing in another hour and half (3pm), and I oughta hustle.
I was a little frustrated when I went to open the locked front door (with the open sign tucked inside). But then the owner came out and let me in (despite the fact that they'd closed 15 minutes before), cheerfully showed me around, and explained that the receptionist was new, and that he'd been out when I called or he would've told me what he had.
It's a giant space, with all sorts of good stuff, and they certainly are pleasant to work with! -

I created a yelp account just to leave feedback here. I ordered a new desk on Amazon and needed to buy a chair for it, just not online since I'd like to test it out.
Searched on http://Craigslist.org and found BT and the Yelp page. Stopped by there earlier today during lunch and they had a wide variety of chairs, desks and price ranges for all.
The chair I got was priced for $100 and it looks and feels brand new. The owner came by and as he walked me to the desk he said it's mine for $80! Great service, no pressure to buy since you walk around and pretty much test the chairs out and once you find what you want you're good to go.
Definitely would refer this place to anyone looking for a chair. -

Tim, the owner, is wonderful person with a good heart. He was willing to give teachers first pick, who I feel are unappreciated and underfunded, of resources that he had available before giving it to the public. He wants to helps people who really need the supplies and not scavengers. He does so 3 to 4 times a year. What an awesome company!

I went there three weeks ago, I've been looking for chairs for my office for a year. I can't afford $300 new chairs but I want nice quality. I'm very sad that I hadn't heard about them earlier. Right away, they had what I was looking for, so gently used, they look new. They were totally cheap, they let me pay and gave me 7 days to come pick them up without cost.

I really like this place. I got a couple office furniture from the place before by 1/3 of market price, very good quality. People there are really nice, especially Tim, the owner. Yesterday, they were giving away a lot of left over furniture after their move to teachers and students. I got a file cabinet, an office chair and some hanging files for free. Not only they are free, people there even helped us to load the furniture.
I definitely would go to their new location again for my future need. Great place to go. Great deal -

The only place I'll ever go for home office-type of furniture. Prices are dirt cheap and the selection is huge. They have every type of chair imaginable, if you can't find a chair you like you don't know what you're looking for in the first place.
They also have conference tables, desks, cabinets, drafting tables, etc; anything you'd expect to find at a home/business office. They have side office spaces along the walls crammed full of more stuff than the main floor area. Check the pictures and see for yourself. Give yourself about 30 minutes to just walk around the place, an extra 30 minutes on top of that if you plan to test out some furniture to buy.
Special mention to Tim, who is about as straight up a forward and honest businessman you'll find. The word liquidation usually brings up a caution flag for me where they just want your money, but the vibe I got from Tim is that he just wants to make sure your needs are met. He'll answer any questions very honestly, no pressure and not trying to steer you one way or the other, and will leave you alone to wander and explore as long as you need.
I tried out about 25-30 chairs and found the perfect one that I'm very happy with, and would go back if I ever needed another one, and would also recommend this place to anyone who was looking for one. -

Shopped twice and came hom empty handed b/c decor didn't match our colors.

If you're looking for an affordable chair and one that you can try out, this is the place to be. I sat on about 150+ chairs and immediately narrowed my selection down to around 4. I believe Lisa was the elder lady who showed me around, incredibly warm, patient, and considerate. Her husband Tim came in at the very last minute, asked me which I liked best and gave me an offer I could not refuse. Easy. Did not think I would end up with the chair I did, but I'm very pleased. Tim is great! From the first time we walked in he was friendly and helpful. We bought 80% of our furniture there for our office. Over a course of the year Ive had to move 3 times. We of course we had to change our furniture to fit the new place. I decided to call Tim and ask if he would buy back the furniture and sell us some other ones that would fit our space. He was so accommodating. We took really good care of our furniture so he gave us a fair price for it. It beats craigslist and garage sales to sell you furniture. I must have done this 3 times with Tim over the past 3 years. What a great economical way to furnish your office. Huge warehouse too.

This place is an office graveyard, a labyrinth of discarded desks and filing cabinets. I came here for office chairs and picked up two beauties at $25 each, one purple and one teal in great shape. But I ended up wandering all around looking at the bizarre stuff that went way beyond office furniture. Around every corner is another room full of surprises: Brass camels. A new pair of winter work boots. A fake crocodile-skin case full of 8-tracks. Rows of East Indian inlaid end tables. But mostly it's lots and lots of reasonably priced used office furniture. The owners are super friendly and the workers help you load your car up. If you need a computer desk or filing cabinets or one of those huge leather executive chairs that lets everyone know you're the boss, this is your place.

After a friend told me about finding chairs for his office for $25, I expected low quality, well-used. Was I surprised! Near new and some brand new office furniture of every description. I was able to get 6 conference table chairs, a Herman Miller Aeron Chair and a Teknion cabinet, all in excellent, gently-used condition, for about 1/3 of the retail cost.

While driving down Tasman, you start to see fluorescent sandwich boards directing you to an office building that houses BT Express Liquidators. If you need any kind of used office furniture at low prices, this is your place. It's really low on frills (think large, cavernous office building filled with furniture) but makes up in volume. There are cubicles, desks, chairs, shelving systems, filing cabinets, and pretty much anything you'd need to fill an office. Tim, the owner, is friendly and very helpful. If you're starting a new business or have a business and don't want to pay retail to outfit your office - check out BT.

Went down to BT today to get a 2 drawer file cabinet for my home. The owner, Tim, gave me a fantastic deal, and his worker helped carry the heavy thing to my car. The showroom is humongous and it was like walking through a maze sometimes, but they have each room numbered to make it easier for their customers. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to purchase office furniture for their home or business to visit this place first. They have some really great stuff and I doubt that you will not find what you're looking for.

I was amazed every time I turned the corner and saw a room bigger than the last, full of gorgeous cherrywood boardroom tables, executives chairs, desks, and tons of nice office furniture. I went to this place with my mind set on a steelcase chair. My friend and I went here based on the reviews on Yelp. The place is much bigger than it seems. The really expensive chairs are shown on their showroom in the front as you walk in. I asked about the Aeron chair and was quoted about 500 for a used chair. Not wanting to spend that much, I went to the room with all of the office chairs. There were hundreds of them in all colors and sizes and particular rooms where chairs were less than $20. I finally picked out a chair after walking around the place for over an hour. The prices were very reasonable, so I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a professional grade chair at a good price.

So i was on my never ending mission of finding lateral file cabinets for our Facilities! And tried out a craigs list ad! Tim & Lisa were so nice to respond to my request ~ IMMEDIATELY" ~ offering to help us out in any way they could. I can't tell you how helpfull they were! They also blasted an email to their friends to join in our efforts!!! They're first agreement were to help with 4 cabinets; after a few hours of comunicating we ended up with a Truck Load! This place is huge, there are so many rooms I couldn't browse in every one of them. They are jam packed with all kinds of different office furniture and chairs. I had so many to choose from it was a bit daunting. Friendly folks work there, and I found a great chair which fit my budget. Very happy with my experience, and will be a return customer for sure. I can't recommend this place enough, it's worth the drive!

BT is the place to go to outfit your business. We run a camera rental house and most everything in our office and warehouse came from Tim at BT. We scored a bunch of nice tech work benches, tall sturdy rolling stools to match. Industrial quality carts to move gear around. Shelving. Desks. High end power strips. Tim really has it all and he and the whole crew are really down to Earth and easy to deal with. Setting up an office can really nickle and dime you to death, so go down to BT and save a bundle on your core equipment and furniture.
