Where do I start...Tina and Lori are awesome!
I went in for a shoot because I was going through a break-up and needed quality time for myself. I decided to do the "white sheet" photoshoot! OMG they made me look like a model! haha well atleast that's what I told myself. The pictures were amazing! No joke!
Also, keep in mind the shoot was totally nude! I had never done anything like it but I admit I felt at ease and it was a great experience!!!
I will definitely go back....It's a bit far from where I live but worth the drive! -

I had wonderful pictures taken from Lori. I took them about a year ago but still love them. The reason I'm putting 4 out of 5 is the price. It is expensive!! I was also told I couldn't order pictures or canvas in the future because they don't keep the files. Because they have strict copyrights, they also do not provide digital images of the pictures you pick. Still very wonderful pictures were taken.

I did a Boudoir photo shoot with Lori and got a good deal on Groupon--$99 for a Boudoir Photo Session, One 8x10, and hair and makeup. I opted to go for the extra white sheet "look" and that ended up costing me an extra $175 (it was supposed to be $100 since I asked for it when I made my appointment, but it wasn't noted). It was hard to schedule and appointment since it was a Groupon; thus, her calendar filled up really quickily and she has odd studio hours. But I finally got an appointment.
I show up and Lori did my hair and make up. She did a wonderful job and I looked great. The photo session was cool, and posing for a photo is a lot harder than it looks. I was definitely breaking out in a sweat holding some of those poses. I felt completely comfortable with Lori and was laughing the whole time. She helped me choose an outfit and she has some accessories if I wanted to borrow them.
Then I had to make another appointment to view my pictures which ended up being another few weeks. Went in with my boyfriend and we sat in their very nice viewing room as it did a slideshow of the pictures. Here's the hard part: choosing the pictures. The coupon comes with only ONE 8x10 and many of them looked really good. I had a hard time choosing.
In addition, if you want to buy extra prints, they are VERY expensive. $100 for another 8x10 or two 5x7. I'm sure this is standard pricing in the industry, but I definitely wasn't expecting to shell out as much as I did for this Groupon. From talking to friends, there are many places that do good Boudoir photography work with packages that cost similar to what I ended up paying, but you get more bang for the buck. Oh well.
Bottom Line: Am I glad I did it? Yes. Do the pictures look amazing? Yes. Does Lori do a great job? Yes. -

Lori Brystan is an INCREDIBLE photographer, and her work speaks for itself. Throughout our entire shoot, she made me feel so at ease and comfortable, which garnered the best results in the photos themselves. The entire shoot took about 3 hours total, she does everything including hair and makeup, and even helps you change looks if you're doing more than 1 look. I have to say, I was a little concerned going in without a makeup trial since I'm really picky and usually never like when other people do mine, but I was SO impressed with how everything turned out! All my friends who have looked through my photos also complimented the makeup that Lori did. I definitely recommend Lori for any photos you're taking - whether it's engagement, wedding, or personal. No one else compares!

Hard to believe it's been almost 20 years since meeting Lori and finding Brystan Studios! What a BLESSING in our lives to have Lori capture new LOVE between my husband and me all those years ago. We treasure the photos that make time stand still and bring us back to the essence of that Love that has carried us through.... Lori doesn't just snap a photo, she peers into your Soul and actually brings that into FORM through her incredible GIFT as a photographer. She has continued capturing our treasured moments through the family photos with our daughter throughout the years. From the precious Angel picture at two, to the magical fairy girl in the tree at four, all the way to her Senior Portraits and our Holiday Cards. One of the greatest gifts I have ever received was a recent photo shoot at Brystan Studios. I have heard for years that Lori is the best photographer ever but not until I got to experience her did I know that it so true. First of all she makes you totally comfortable and has a special gift of finding the beauty of every client she photographs. The whole experience made me feel like a princess for a day and the photo's are a true work of art that I will cherish forever. Thank you Lori....you are not only kind and caring you are an artist!!

Lori Brystan is a professional photographer, and she is incredible! I had portraits done to celebrate my birthday and I'm glad I found her studio. She does everything herself - hair, makeup, styling, lights, etc. She directs you but takes into account anything specific you want or are looking for. If you want the standard cookie-cutter photographs that you would get at Sears, then go to Sears. If you want incredible photos that you never imagined anyone could take of you, then go to Lori. She is amazing! You can see some of her portfolio on her website, http://www.brystan-stu.... Like I said at the beginning, she is a professional photographer, which means that you pay for the sitting and you pay for each photo you buy separately. You do not get any of the negatives or digital photos - those belong to her. So the entire thing is likely to be very pricey, but you get timeless photos in exchange, which to me is worth it.
