I haven't bought art here, but I have had them frame a few pieces. They do some of the nicest framing work in Palo Alto. I just got a painting framed here. They had a lot of nice options and were really flexible in showing me a wide variety of possible frames that could work with the painting. When it was finished because it was a large piece (48"x48") they delivered it and even hung it up! Then, since I just moved, they realized I had other artwork that wasn't hung and they asked if I wanted help with that. They were nice enough to help me hang up all of the art in my house!
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because they aren't terribly fast (framing took 4-5 weeks) and they are a little flaky (they take a long summer vacation and close up shop for a month or so in the summer).
If you're not impatient and you want a quality framing job, I'd highly recommend them.

A decent all around gallery showcasing sculpture, photography, painting, and drawings. Genres range from modern to abstract contemporary. Some of the pieces feel "student made" but others feel professional. On my visit it seemed like they were transitioning a show so art was laying around and there weren't any titles or numbers underneath pieces. The owner was nice though.

I haven't bought anything here, but I get all of my art and pictures framed by them. I think they do the best frame job in Palo Alto. I got six painting framed about four months ago. They show you all the possible colors that could work with your pieces and all the different ways they could frame them. They do a great job but take a long time 4-8 weeks. Also it's hard to get a hold of them unless you drive down to their shop. Other than that they're the best in Palo Alto.

This boutique gallery in the middle of Palo Alto is fantastic. New local and National artists are featured for a couple months at a time. The pieces are predominantly modern/contemporary. The owner, Karen Imperial, invariably has artwork up in the window and throughout the store that will catch your eye.
