History
Established in 1982
Bryant Electric Service has operated as a family owned business for more than 25 years. In the beginning, it was just Craig Bryant and a truck. During the boom of the 1980's in Austin, Craig was able to start hiring Apprentice and Journeymen Electricians. Eventually he was able to move out of his home garage and into an office/warehouse in South Austin.
We now have a fleet of trucks and qualified electricians on staff. As a diversified company, Bryant Electric Service has worked on projects that range from new construction to electrical remodel on both the residential and commercial level. With three Master Electricians currently on staff, Bryant Electric Service is able to meet all the electrical needs of our customers from a small service call all the way up to a full remodel.
Meet the Business Owner: Craig B.
Craig Bryant was born and raised in San Antonio Texas where he graduated from John Marshall High School. After graduation, he tried to go to college to become a teacher, but after observing a junior high class one day, he decided he wanted to do something different. He had tried his hand at electrical work with a friend's dad and decided this was what he wanted to do. After moving to Austin in the 1970's, he worked behind the counter at an electrical supply house and met many contractors and customers who needed electrical work done. After learning the trade while working for other electricians, Craig worked on side jobs and received a number of referrals through word of mouth and was soon able to venture out on his own. As an electrician, Craig was able to raise a family and has enjoyed owning his own business.
