First, I want to say; I'm an auto mechanic by way of a hobby and because, I don't trust auto repair shops. I own a business and I needed my business trk trans repaired and I didn't have the time to do it myself; so, I took the chance and had a local transmission shop do the repairs. The shop found engine problems and they told me, that; inorder, for them to honor the warranty, I had to get the engine repaired by a professional shop and not by me.  I troubleshooted the trk and I found, I just needed the fuel pump replaced; an easy fix; but, I needed that lifetime warranty inplaced. I found Bryan's in the phone book; I went there on a mon. morning to talk to them about my commercial trk problem. I told him too, I needed my trk immediately or I'll go someplace else.  Also, I told them I'm a mechanic and I found the problem, that, the fuel pump needs replacing and I check the availability on an oem dealer part and the retail price; it was readily available for p/u or delivered. This job is an easy repair and it should not take more than a 1/2 a day to complete the job. The service mgr, his name is Dale Smith, told me not a problem;  it should be ready for p/u Tue or Wed and no later and gave me an estimate of $155.92. When he told me the cost; I immediately started thinking, how cheap; it sounded too good to be true and you know, when you meet someone for the first time and you have this feeling that you don't like this person or trust them, well I had this distrusting feeling with Dale and I should have went with my instincts. Well, too late and big mistake. I told Dale, I needed my truck towed and how much will it cost me. He said, it should not cost no more than $65.00 and called a towing co. he deals with and arranged them to meet me where my truck was located. When we arrived at Bryan's, the tow trk driver told me it will cost me $135.00. I told Dale that, he said he will take care of it. Yea right, he hid it on my bill later. Here comes the next day, tuesday; so I go there and check on my trk and I find the electrical fuse panel removed; for what reason; check the power to the fuel pump first, you dumb fuckers or should I say scamming mother fuckers, trying to make me believe their actual doing something on my truck. I asked Dale, what is the holdup; he said they are still troubleshooting it and waiting for a part. I told him, that, does not make any sense; if you're still troubleshooting it; then what part are you ordering. I told him no mechanic is working on my truck and I need my truck like today and you told me it will be ready tue or wed. I told him, I already know the part that my trk needs and I will personally p/u the part myself to safe time. Dale said, it is already ordered and shipped from Tacoma. If the part is coming from Tac, the part should be here today and installed; if not today for sure tommorrow, wed. Well Wed came and went; Thursday came and went; and finally Friday came and Dale called me and said my trk is done and ready for p/u. So I go there and Dale handed me the bill and I see that the cost of the work came to $722.84; a grossly overage from the estimate offered to me. Surprisingly, I remained calmed, about the unfair, overcharged, not notifying ahead of time of the bill change. Dale said he was sorry but that is the true and final cost. I told him, it is a great difference from the estimate he gave me originally and should recoup the difference  themselves or at least pay the tax on it. Well, the owner was standing nearby and of course heard my complaint; he immediately and rudely interrupted me with a angry tone; said, they are not going to do that, and if I am not going to pay it, I cannot p/u my trk. Well, I did not have a choice and I did not have the time to deal with it; so I paid my bill and went away thilnking, I  should have relied on my first instincts. I believed they did not want to loose me as a customer and lied about the whole job. I knew they were booked; I notice all the other vehicles out there parked, waiting to be serviced. I thought they were going to place my truck on priority repair, but didn't. I noticed the other 2 customers gave Bryan's a 5 star rating and it is very obvious these poor souls, do not know anything about mechanics and how an automotive shop operates. Through my experience; knowing how automotive shops conduct their business; if not all, are scammers; cheating and taking advantage of innocent customers who do not have any knowledge how the automotive repair scamming system operates and 99.9% of the time the shop gets away with it and how they practice deception to make customers believe, they are honest and good and will not cheat  them. Shame on these motherfucking, lying, greedy asshole bastards; with no guilty conscious; evil thinking and doers like these can go to bed and sleep without any remorse. Thank you for reading my complaint. By the way, please do not think of going to this shop; if you do not want to get ripped-off.
