I fully agree with what abbie c. and Molly J have said, and couldn't say it any better! Bryan really helps deepen my practice and stay focused on mindfulness and my own center.

He is humble and light-hearted, and there is none of the hare-krishna-more-spiritual-than-thou-and-my-abs-a re-tighter-than-yours BS that is present in some other studios. His deep practical knowledge is a boon to both beginners and advanced students.

Bryan is an amazing yoga teacher!  I was never a fan of most of the yoga studios around in the city, and some of the pretentiousness involved with them, but Bryan really makes it about you working with your own body.  You don't feel like you're trying to keep up in a room of exhibitionists.  Plus, his classes are very queer-friendly with a great community vibe.
He teaches out of the Sun Room in the Mission where it's donation-based, so you pay what you can.  I always feel like I'm getting a great workout and getting time to re-center my mind.  He's a hidden gem of SF!

After one class with Bryan, I was hooked!  He brings a lot of knowledge about anusara yoga to class, but is never intimidating.  Rather, Bryan is very approachable and seems to make students of all levels feel comfortable.  He has a unique, nurturing teaching style that motivates me to move deeper in poses and stay in the present moment.  Bryan's class is donation-based and queer friendly, which is partly why it feels like such a welcoming, inclusive community.  I always leave his classes feeling deliciously sweaty and centered.  I recommend them to everyone!
