I'm not sure how to give a photographer a glowing review without sounding vain, so forgive the vanity of this post. We hired Bryan Green Photography to do our wedding photos and an engagement shoot, and we adore our photos!
The engagement shoot was a little clumsy because we didn't quite know what to expect or how to behave or pose or whatever, but Bryan and his partner, Kevin, did a great job of easing us into it. With the Sacramento Zoo for a backdrop, we got some really fun engagement shots. Some of my favorites were on the carousel; the colors are rich and vibrant!
We really appreciated the engagement shoot when it came to our wedding day because we were already so much more relaxed when it came to picture time. Bryan and Kevin got every single shot I asked them to. (I gave them a list in advance.) They got the details, like place settings and cake toppers, overall ambiance of the venue, candid shots of our guests, the first kiss, post-ceremony formals, toasts, cake cutting, everything! Overall, they really captured the joy of the day, and we look through our photos again and again and again to relive the joy. The images are crisp and stunning, and there is a good mix of close up and wide angle. Really, they did a thorough job.
Photos aside, both Bryan and Kevin are really nice people. They are easy to work with, and they seem pretty much up for anything. Our wedding venue was on the Sacramento River delta, and we wanted to take photos on the rickety dock. They were eager to do it, and the photos turned out amazing!
On a side note, for anyone who thinks they are "too fat" to get professional photos, you're not. Don't let that ruin your experience or inhibit you during your photo shoot or special day. If I have any regret, it's that way of thinking. I'm sure the pictures weren't ALL gems, but many, many, many of them were. You deserve excellent photography as much as any model thin person, so don't skimp on your photographer on your wedding day. A professional will be able to capture joy and love and adoration, and when they do it right, you'll notice the emotion WAY more than you'll notice your "fat" arms or whatever thing you're insecure about. Bryan Green Photography is the kind of professional you can trust to capture the transcendence of emotion through photos.

Today was Shannan's and my engagement photo shoot at the place of our first date - Sacramento Zoo. We had such a great time! Our photographers, Bryan Green and Kevin Ettl from Bryan Green Photography, made the shoot very enjoyable and were extremely helpful.
Shannan and I can't thank them enough and we are so fortunate to have very professional and caring photographers shooting our wedding.

I have to take time to write a quick review about Bryan Green Photography. I was so happy with the service and end result that I would recommend them to ANY of my family or friends.
I needed some professional quality company photographs for various advertisements. I consider myself a very detail oriented person and was so impressed with how creative and patient Bryan was. There were shots that I thought looked great but because of Bryan's great eye, he would change the shot completely and make it look even better. That was very impressive to me.
The last comment I have to say is that after editing the personal portraits...he really made me look good!! -

My husband and I were looking for a photographer to shoot our family portraits and we came across Bryan through a mutual friend. During the photo session he made us feel very relaxed and helped turn it in to a fun experience for our whole family.
