Home of the original hash brown sandwich.
You have to see it to believe it.
My wife and I were driving through Brussels on our way to Green Bay and we drove past this diner. I thought it looked a bit sketchy but she was "hongry" and insisted we stop in. It didn't look like much on the inside, a strange hybrid of a breakfast place and a late night dive bar. I wasn't expecting much but then I ordered the hash brown sandwich.
Sweet baby Jesus, I couldn't finish this monster of a meal. Just imagine a layer of hash browns under a layer of eggs, ham, cheese and mushrooms (I didn't have the peppers and onions) topped off with yet another layer of hash browns. Throw in a couple of slices of toast and the dish is complete.
If you're anywhere near Brussels you should give this place a try. -

Have only stopped in for breakfast and ordered their hash brown sandwiches. Truly a behemoth order. The half portion will feed your family. It's ridiculous how cheap they are too. Last time we were in we heard gossip that people weren't sure what was happening with the restaurant since the owners are getting divorced. We don't know if that's true or not, but we hope the place sticks around!
