Review from Young K.

A piece of South End Boston or Old City Philadelphia in gritty, but unassumingly gentrifying downtown Lowell,Ma. It is considered a retail store and a art gallery smacked almost in a secret hiding place shaped in a form of a shopping arcade.

Lowell, MA
This is an amazing place where you can watch artists create, ask them questions about their work, and purchase their art. Its located off market street behind market mills right in the downtown. Not too many places like this around. Changes periodically as artists come and go.

Review from Ellen C.
Lowell, MA
This is a wonderful place in downtown Lowell where art and artists are strongly supported. The thiving artists' colony of Lowell is perpetually cultivated in events and displays at Brush Art Gallery and Studios.

Review from David B.
Brush was a pioneer in the Lowell art scene. Long before Western Avenue Studios ever existed, the Brush provided a venue for art and artists in Lowell. It is great to still see it going strong. Their recent shows have been fun, featuring beautiful pieces to boot. The studios beyond the Gallery offer a wide array of mediums: photography, painting, sculpture, glass, jewelery and more. I especially enjoy Bill Giavis' perspectives on Lowell landscapes. Its nice to see the Brush thriving among a growing and changing art scene.
