Brunswick is always a good time.. the cashier informed us that if we waited a half hour we would get like half off so we went to the bar for a little and saved a little money!

Last time I went here was 7 years ago in high school! I have always liked this place, love cosmic bowling with the lights and music. To me bowling is bowling as long as you have a good set of friends.
However, you do have the pre-teens and teens hanging out being too cool to bowl, if they only knew what they were missing out on!
It is $3 for socks, plenty of parking and about $12 a hour or something (per person) about a game for 4 of us. There is food- wouldn't suggest eating. There are arcade games- looks fun.
A decent night out on a weekend, we were lucky and didn't have to wait on a Friday night around 9.
I won't lie, this place needs a bit of updating but still fun nonetheless. -

The good: $35 bucks for 2 people for unlimited bowling on a Saturday night.
The bad: The 12 year old girls in the next lane singing and doing the Beyonce hand, "If you like it than you should've put a ring on it?" What do you know about that - your 12! Ha!
You should know: This place is cash only!
The Low Down: I would come back, but probably not on a Saturday night. -

Took my son bowling here on Sunday afternoon, and purchased two games during the early bird special, which was fine. The service however was FOUL!! The girl at the front desk was more interested in talking to her coworkers than helping customers, and she actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked for assistance. They had to reset our game 4 times. The last game I bought I tried to use a FREE coupon my son received from a birthday party, yet I was still charged $5.88, and no one could explain why.. The food was OK, but a bit on the expensive side for what it is. I will not be coming back.

OK, I bought 10 Groupons for summer fun. But then found out that they werent taking any open lanes because of tourneys until like mid June and all of the Groupons expire in August. I finally go and I paid $6 per 2 lanes with shoes but they have a sign for $10 2 games, shoes and pizza and soda. Ok, that was a better deal. Whatever. We took two lanes, the equipment on one lane had to be reset 10 times. We asked for the kiddy rack and never got it, I had to go take one from the 50 kids that came in with a summer camp group. Basically, It was OK but not really great and I wouldnt recommend buying a groupon for it. You could probably get a decent deal by just showing up, whenever you want to and without your deal expiring. Like someone else said, you might just choose to go to Harleys because they also have the lanes that allow you to have the bumpers for each player individually.

This place is the exact opposite of Harley's. From the outside it looks modern and updated but when you step inside those automatic doors you are greeted by the 80s.
The place hasn't seen an update in forever (except the arcade, which is a total rip by the way). The TVs are old tiny CRTs which barely work and I'm shocked they are still hanging.
There are plenty of lanes and bowling balls but all in all this place sucks compared to Harley's.
The bar area is nice to get away from the high schoolers for a while and play some pool but there is really nothing else to do in there. -

This is the best bowling alley I've played on so far!
(I'm only talking about conventional bowling alleys here, not like 'Triple Strike' or '300 Pasadena' where you have to spend an arm to play... (ironic huh!)
If you've played on a bowling alley before then you know what a bowling alley looks like, but 'Brunswick Zone' (which I prefer to call it - not to be confused with 'Brunswick Matador') has something extra to offer! ...extra clean, more lanes, more snacks, more bowling balls, better cosmic lights, better lanes, better seating arrangement, better box-score animation, arcades, pool tables, and more....
One of my memorable visit here was when we had a party of 40-50 people, and everyone had a blast! ...I have not visited here in a while now because it is getting pretty expensive to bowl at weekends, and the fact that one of my friends bought a Kinect and I just play bowling at his house ...but hopefully in a digital age like we have now, Brunswick Zone continue to have good business. -

The guy at the customer service desk was rude. When we put quarters in the arcade games and he gave us a hard time about getting us our money back because a few of the games didnt work, as if its our fault theyre broken. Instead of having us try one broke machine after another why dont you put some signs on them saying its broken (maybe there wasnt signs to put on the broken ones). We were bowling regularly but he was so rude well all never go back again.

I agree, this place is fun. I knew nothing of dollar nights, must check that out. Their computers are pretty good, fun silly graphics when you or a team-mate/buddy actually have a good play ( there are also graphics for when you have not so good plays...). They rent the standard shoes, which are always fun for a laugh. Bowling shoes remind me of clown shoes. They have galactic bowling, I'm not sure of which nights. They have a food stand too, I've never frequented it, but I always see some families or kid's parties noshing on pizza. It must be okay, someone report back on this... Go bowling, it's fun and cheaper than golf. Plus, if you have little one's they can have employees lift up bumpers for them so everybody wins (that's bowling with no gutters, so nobody feels like they are not good at the game).

This place is fun, especially on dollar nights, which are Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because it's kind of starting to fall apart. I've been on a few lanes where the screen didn't work so well nor the lane. If they fixed the place up a little, I'm sure it would be much better. Overall, a really fun place to come, relax, and have fun with friends.

This place packs lots of fun, especially if you got a group of people looking for good thrills without spending a lot of money. I agree that the computer sometimes messes up if you add a person in the middle of a game. Other than that, they work fine as far as I know. Even my nephew, who is two, had a great time since they had this special equipment where toddlers can simply place the ball on top of the ramp and watch it slide down the lane toward the pins. It's a great place!
