Brunswick is a fantastic place to do the bowling gig on a Saturday night. The staff's extra friendly and treats the lane patrons (teens and us old peeps) well. The entire place is kept extremely clean and the clientele seems to stay respectful of each other. The prices are very reasonable - some friends, my wife and I (six of us total) got to play 2 hours for about 70 bucks total, including a pitcher of soda and shoe rentals, during the typical weekend Cosmic Bowl (lights turned off, black lights on the lanes, wide variety of music blaring [country, rock, hip-hop, pop]). The Hoover police occasionally do rounds to make sure things are calm and cool, but I've been several times and have yet to see any issues that would require security to step in and put the smackdown on some unruly drunk.
Totally worth it - check it out, the price is right. -

Had a great time bowling with friends recently--wish we had thought through how much it would cost individually vs. getting family package, it would have priced out better!! Cosmic bowling is fun and I'm so grateful that this establishment does not allow smoking! Only disappointment is that they no longer carry the beer that I enjoy getting there--Andygator! Bring it back, please!
