true story: came here one night with my kids for some cheap bowling, and two dudes were duking it out in the parking lot and screaming at each other. I waited for security to come for several minutes (curious type), and they eventually stopped fighting. I investigated and found that these two thugs WERE the security team!!! no kidding!! Wow, stay away from this craphole if you value your life.

Bowling you don't need a small loan for, okay in my book!

The shoes are new, it still has that traditional bowling alley vibe; much better than the overpriced bowling at the 300 I recently visited in San Jose.

Ive become a regular here. Sadly I am too shy to actually interact with the employees there. I always like to come here with my friends who introduced me to this place because they get like special treatment and I just freeload off of them. If youre looking to trying to sharpen your bowling skills, this is the place since this place has .99 cent games on certain days. Employees are very attentive to the lanes and actually get on people's cases if theyre misusing the lanes. Sometimes I think they have too many bday parties cuz people be bringing in their kids who need a leash

This bowling alley has seen better days. I may not have been there but I have to believe my last statement to be true. The place is old and worn down. However, on Monday night they have $1 bowling and you cannot beat the price. Believe me I tried one glorious summer of nightly bowling. $1 for your shoes and $1 for each game. Bring along a group of friends and if they're interesting you can have hours of fun for only a few bucks.

Everything else about this place is average. The beer costs more than I am willing to pay in this type of place but if your like me(poor) you can just pre-party in the parking lot. I do often and have never had a problem. The holes are a little tight on the balls. The arcade games are aging awfully. This place is good for one thing and one thing only. Hours of cheap bowling.

Head down with a group of interesting people. Get your drink on. Come up with some clever and inappropriate names. Then bowl your balls off. FYI the shoes are pretty cool so if you have some old ratty shoes you are willing to give up wear them and score yourself a cool pair of bowling shoes.

$1 bowling w/coupon or free during special events!!! All you need to do is rent the shoes or bring your own. Go after 11pm on a Friday night to strut your stuff with them flashing lights and latest beats!

Not the nicest alley and not the worst I've seen either.  Because it's more than just bowling. I want good selection of fast food, and good drink, clean atmosphere, and updated equipment.

First off, I didn't see the bar anywhere. That bar needs to be welcoming me with open arms. Fine, I ordered a cocktail from a little old lady in the Snack bar.  Very amusing, they have her ina little corner with a small selection of spirts and mixers.  The snack bar choices were limited also.  No onion rings?  No salad?   How about zucchini sticks?  Okay, I'll have the veggie wrap, fries, and personal pizza.  DON"T buy the veggie wrap.  All it had was ice berg lettuce, a few tomatoes and cut up pieces of American cheese (aka bad fake cheese) in a flour tortilla.  Fries were decent.

The music was good with a mix of current alternative, 80's pop and rock, etc.  Tv monitors at each lane section let you watch the videos to the musck. It took us forever to punch in our names since the computer screen was not working properly.  Our lane messed up a few times.  Unfortunately always on my turn.  I like to think that is why I lost every game.

Unless you like a big movie screen that lowers itself right above your lane almost to the point of blocking your pins, then DON"T GET LANE 45!!!
    $3.99  game
    $3.97 shoe rental
    Cosmic bowling started at 9pm

OK. Let's start out by saying I DO NOT BOWL.

We ended up here late one night since we could not figure out what else to do in the area.

Funny counter guy. Kind of a flirt.

They play hip hop music AND show hip hop videos! WTF!???????? WOW! I liked that the most out of anything else about this place.

The outside looks kind of creepy, especially with the barred entrance. LOL.

Typical bowling alley to me (not that I've been to many). I love that they play hip hop music and videos.

    :)

After canceling our plans last minute, nothing sound good enough to drive for. "What about this restaurant?" "Nah", or "We should go here." "too far." It's frustrating when you cancel your plan for someone only to have it kick you in the balls later..haha. Where can I exert some energy, in other words, where can I throw sh!t, break or knock things down and It'll be ok. "I know, Let's go BOWLING"

It's a safe way of being destructive :) It's also cheaper than punching holes in a wall at home, or doing something retarded when your temper rises only realizing that was stupid and now you've have to repair or replace it.

So I called up a couple friends to vent and said "C'mon let's do something and bowl" They were game. Plus they knew something was bothering me. We rented shoes and played 2 games and only came out to $30 and some change. The place is a bit ghetto-ish, or more the some of the people that go haha. Hey, that was the entertainment though. Other than that, it's clean with decent lanes. I didn't order and food or drinks though, so can't really talk about the concession stand.

Bottom line we had fun and for that hour or so, I was able to put my drama aside :)

Ended up here late one night with a bunch of friends and had a wondertul time. The area itself doesn't look too inviting and could be quite intimidating, but all of that aside, it's not a really bad place to go bowling.

The night I came here, they were playing hip hop and it was really cool to see that the monitors/tvs were actually playing the videos to each song. Most places just pump the music, but this place had that "MTV" type vibe because of the monitors/tvs.

The equipment and lanes were some what dated, but it wasn't too bad either. This is one of those places that you wouldn't mind taking a bunch of friends and just bowl the night away. If you're trying to impress a date with a bowling alley, this isn't the place to do it.

I came here with my coworkers after work recently around 4:00pm on a Thursday.  Lanes were pretty much all open.  The 9 of us were able to bowl in two lanes for two games in two hours.  About $9 head was decent.  Service was a bit slow.  Nobody was manning the counter when I went to get some shoes.  The bar service was pretty slow too.   Shamefully, they sag their heads and confess that they don't serve pitchers here.  Tsk Tsk Tsk.

The bright side is that the lanes were pretty nice and even.  It was nice to see them slicking up the lanes, even though they pretty much barged into our game to do it.  Haha.  I actually bowled a 179 with just one of the house plastic balls.  The equipment was pretty out-dated, but it was reliable.  This place has the standard bumper rails if you wish and something else that I've never seen before... It's this metal ramp contraption which allows you to bowl by setting the ball on the ramp, aiming, and just rolling it down the ramp.  My guess is it's for handicap purposes...or for kids?  --Shrugs--

I don't think I've ever seen this place in the day time. The outside at night looks kinda scary, especially if you see a group of people hanging around outside.  My last few visits have been to play pool/billiards. It's $10/hour and you have to keep track of your own time.  So what if I tell them I was only there 1 hour, even though I was actually there 2 hours? You would think they could come up with a time tracking system for the pool tables like they have for the bowling lanes.

Cosmic bowling is cool.  wear shirts that glow under black lights.

I actually like this place cause its super cheap its $3 a game and $2 for shoes. place is pretty big with 40 lanes to bowl and at midnight cosmic bowling with glow in the dark pins and stuff. They also have pool tables which are $5 for 2 hours and they also have arcades and a full bar plus a pizza join inside. Its not to packed inside because i think of the location is in its pretty ghetto and i heard some stories that go down in that area of Covina but that was along time ago lol. This place has heavy security now theirs like 10 of them guarding the parking and all over the place so its pretty safe i guess lol. So if your looking for a cheap place to bowl and not crowded at all this is the place to come and kill a few hours or so.

Oh and very high tech..music played with music video! Its great that they played hip hop videos but they also play rock music! Super awesome-ness! Totally my new Sunday night hangouts!! It gets pretty pack so i suggest getting there early like before 9pm..I think it closes at 2am!  Note outside is pretty creepy but inside is huge!

okay ive been here a handful of times and each time the experience has been different. sometimes this place has special deals and sales on games that make it a good price to come and bowl, and sometimes they dont and its jus regular price and it might eat some money out of your poket, at least more then you wouldve thought to have spend.

At night, it gets a little sketchy here. Groups of men come here to just chill, and it might bother people because it feels like they might belong to some gang. Then when they have security here, they treat you rude. So your not sure whether or not you will get jumped by the gang or the security guards.

major plus about it tho is that it is open a little later.

I love this spot. I come here at least twice a week. I'm a SUPER regular customer. I love their dollar and dollar twenty five per game nights. The place gets packed once the holidays and summer have hit. Kids from all over come here. There are times when you can find nothing but leaguers here too. The employees are very nice, and as you keep on coming here, they will get to know you. The drive is a bit far from the Los Feliz area but it doesn't bother me, when you consider how much of a relationship I've developed with the people who work here. Their snack bar is pretty good and their drinks are as popular as their sodas. My wife hurt herself here but the staff were nice enough to bring her ice and to make sure she was Ok. Really, I can't get enough of this bowling alley. It's a great place for friends. It's open late night and sometimes there are coupons that they will honor for free or discounted games. SCORE!!

why do bowling alleys always seem to have the best french fries ever?  it's like they sprinkle a little bit of crack up in that mug so you just have to keep coming back for more!

my high game was at 138 today.  i need more practice.  i should bowl more often.  i found a flyer for a special on wednesday afternoons from 3 - 5.  $5.49 per person for 2 hours of bowling and free rental!  i have my own shoes anyway. :)  guess where i'll be wednesday afternoons?

I love the people who work here. We've become regulars here and I love that they greet us when we come visit. They are awesome and always take care of us when something lil goes wrong with our lanes. I even took a pretty serious spill here once. I broke my ankle. They were worried that I would sue them. Nope. I did sustain a not so great injury and it is permanent, the lack of mobility. But, I'm not suing anyone. Dennis and Manuel are awesome guys. I love that they play music late at night, once the league bowlers have all gone home. The outside is a lil shabby and what not but the inside is well kept. I've never had any real problems with the lanes. The people who come here tend to be families or large groups of friends. On Monday nights, for now anyways, they have a special promo called "Buck and Bowl". It's $1 for games. I'm not sure how much shoes are. I have my own.  On Tuesday nights, it's$1.25 per game. The lanes fill up fairly quickly. I think their new promo is Quarter Thursdays. There is a simple $5 "cover charge" and each game is $0.25.  So, for $6 you get 4 games. That's not bad. They are also having some sort of special deal for NYE. You have to check with them on that one. I'm not sure how it works but I know that you have to have 6 ppl on your lane for some sort of a flat fee. Anyways, this lane is pretty chill. It's a fun family spot. The restrooms are clean. There are two, one on each far end of the lanes. Hot dogs are $1 on Mondays. Small drinks on Mondays are $1 also. Pizza is abour $14 for 10 slices. Their fries are pretty good and their nachos seem to be popular. Yvette at the bar is a friendly one too. Everyone there is pretty awesome.

Played pool there a couple of times, average everything, the pool table area is fluorescent lighting and shabby warehouse style. Tables were filthy and most needed new felt, this is an area of this place that gets ignored. Lots of senior citizens, the people who work there are pleasant and efficient but nothing more, what do you expect it is an old bowling alley in Covina? The food service is extra lousy, more than once it took much too long to get a simple order, the only reason we went there is it is open all day when the other pool halls are closed.

Like Brunswick in West Covina, this place is great for cheap bowling. How can you go wrong with $1 games? I only downgrade this place a star because it's location and clientele is a bit shadier in comparison to West Covina but it's still a good place to have a great time.
