Located in the heart of San Diego suburbia right off the 15 fwy.
On weekdays you'll see a short line with business folks and housewives getting their bagels then walking next door to Starbucks for an overpriced cup of Joe Latte.
On weekends you'll see a long line with business folks disguised as upper middle class families getting their bagels then walking next door to Starbucks for a four pack of an overpriced cup of Joe Latte.
Quaint and small inside. Assembly line/cafeteria style ordering. On weekends be quick on the draw with your payment. Lots of benches and outdoor seating. Leave your strollers outside.
Hey, there are a couple Charger players standing in line! It's Scripps Ranch, go figure. -

I got a breakfast bagel sandwich here today.
Nothing special. The eggs were over cooked and since they had spinach, looked like they had been processed through a baby, first.
The bacon was greasy.
But, the bagel - the real star of the show - did not disappoint. It was chewy and delicious. I will stick to the basics in the future and just order a bagel toasted with butter. -

Love the bagels, but wish they would put cream cheese on BOTH sides of the bagels without having to request it!

Not quite a fan yet, but there are several positives to this place.
Yes, I ordered a Panini at a bagel place. Thought it was more interesting than a bagel for lunch. They use thick sliced "Texas toast" style bread for their panini's. Mine included Roast Beef and veg.
Because they wrap it in aluminum foil it made the sandwich a little soggy by the time I got back to the office. To my surprise, a pickle spear was included.

The taste was bold for a panini. It was rich, but it was a little messy with the veg bits falling out.
Good
-Many food options besides bagels.
- They sell newspapers
- Check out the ladies working at "Petco Un-leashed" a few doors down..
Bad
Fountain drinks are behind the counter. -

Bagels are my favorite food ever. I feel like I have to specify just about everything to make sure I get it right here. I would much rather go to a more authentic bagel place like Big City. I even prefer Einsteins to here.

The girl that was helping me seemed sad and unwilling to help me. I ordered the chipotle, spinach, and egg bagel sandwich but was dissapointed to see that they made me a regular egg and spinach sandwich. The eggs taste so artificial. The only thing I enjoyed about my meal was my orange juice.

I don't really eat bagels very often but when I'm in the mood for one, I come here because hey have my favorite bagel (cinnamon sugar) and favorite cream cheese (honey walnut). I never get anything else.

I moved in the area recently. With the amazing weather in SD, I walked down there several times already on the weekends; relaxed and hanged around outdoors for a short while before I walked back. I liked their fresh bagel breakfast, plain bagel and tasty soup; I even bought the bottomless card today. To me, I bought a lifestyle of my weekend mornings. Staff was patiently nice to me explaining my choices.
