There are a couple things that make Brueggers worth a trip to me:
-The hazelnut coffee. I admit it, I like flavored coffee, and I have no shame dissing the Starbucks next door to get it here.
-The lunch salads. There arent many places around where you can get a fresh salad made to order. Although, it seems to take them FOREVER to make the salad, since they have to chop up all the ingredients they use for sandwiches to make them salad friendly. I always order over the phone so its ready when I get there.
As far as just simple bagels go (blueberry, wheat, plain, onion), I just go to Albertsons which sells them fresh from their bakery for 50% cheaper. (50 cents vs 99 cents). -

Stopped in to pick up a couple of bagels and probably won't be stopping in again. I'm used to the real bagles, which are sort of hard and chewy, the way they're s'posed ta be, like in New York.
Got an onion and a plain bagel. They were too puffy and doughy. Ick. -

It's "ok." The Powers That Be at Yelp must know that "A-OK" is different than "ok," but whatever.
The grub is the same at any Brueggers but, honestly, the breakfast sandwiches are overpriced and underflavored. And when you order iced coffee, the somewhat surly counter guy grabs an empty cup, walks to the soda machine, fills it with ice, then adds coffee. Um, yeah, I guess my coffee is (kind of) iced now, but really? That's the method?
Great location so they are always busy. But the food is on the boring side. I will stick with just regular old bagels in the future. -

Friendly staff!! Helpful, polite, efficient.
I love getting the Leonardo da Veggie bagelwich. It's oh so wonderful. It's like eating everything that's good for you from the garden, plus a big helping of carbs (albeit less than you normally might have thanks to the flat bagelwich bread).
I like this place for an early lunch, or a satisfying snack with quality ingredients. -

Wow - surprised that this place gets such bad reviews. It's not really that bad. The gentleman that made my bagel this morning was very friendly, asked how my morning was--just very pleasant. Now, the gal who was on the phone speaking in spanish when I walked in and while she rang me up.....that's another story. Btw - before you crumble up my receipt and throw it away- you might want to ask if I wanted it first. Thanks.
I'm still a fan. I don't go in very often but the few times I've been here, I've been happy with my purchase. I'm very easy to please; plain bagel with light cream cheese on the side. -

I stop here for breakfast about once a week; the bagels are tasty and consistent. Lately I get the smoked salmon sandwich on toasted sesame (yes, I know toasting a bagel is an abomination reserved for stale day-olds but I just like it crunchy!)
Used to be a great place to stop for quick takeout, but since Tommy V's was replaced by Broken Yolk ( http://www.yelp.com/bi... ) next door there's no quick parking - I hate to say it (because I generally hate this practice) but they should reserve some 15-minute spaces for the bagel shop and *$ (starbucks).Listed in: My Neighborhood

Herby turkey on a toasted sesame bagel with a pickle on the side and a bag of jalapeno potato chips. That's all I have to say.

Great place for breakfast bagels if they moved a bit faster. I had a lox sandwich and it was good.

I love brueggers but they seem to be disappearing. I am a fan of the traditional egg, chese and sausage sandwich on a bagel and typically get the same thing each time I go. Be on the lookout for coupons because they typically put out a buy six bagels get six free coupon and I just freeze the bagels then toast them when i want to eat it and its just as fresh as the day I bought it.

I love Brueggers Bagels, and luckily this location is on my way to work. Great tasting bagels, quick service, attentive staff, and very reasonable prices.

Stopped in for a bagel mid morning. Not really crowded. Had to wait for the guy behind the counter to empty the trash, he took the garbage bag to the back area of the service area, placed it on the floor and asked me "whadya want"? I told him my order and he reached into the basket, grabbed the bagel, toasted it, prepared it, and asked for the money. It was at that point I told him that he didn't wash his hands after handling the garbage. He said he didn't touch the garbage, he was just emptying the trash cans. I walked out without bagel and without paying. I Will not go here or to any other Boogers, er Brueggers Bagel.
