I want to second others' positive reviews of Dr. Del Fante. As another reviewer said, his practice is old-school in the best possible way. I'm extremely happy with his work. He's gentle, straightforward, effective, and he never tries to hard-sell me on unnecessary additional services or expensive package deals. His office looks like a doctor's office and not a trendy spa. He relies solely on his skills as a chiropractor for return business, which I find reassuring, because his chiropractic skills are what I'm there for! I've had great luck with Dr. Del Fante, and recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Bruce rocks. I suffer from horrible (I'm talking no movement in my neck, ice pick stabbing pain, loss of vision) migraines. I work a stressful, busy job, and so my time for self-care is extremely limited. I often wait until the pain is so debilitating that I literally have no other choice but to go get adjusted. Dr. Bruce ALWAYS accommodates me as a drop in (although I always apologize profusely for not making an appointment). He does efficient, effective adjustments that relieve me of my migraine pain within a miraculous 30 minute window. Sometimes I need to come in the following day for another adjustment, because I get rebound headaches, and my neck is really jacked up (I have a reverse curve). But, it has never taken more than two adjustments to get me pain free. Sometimes I wish for the entire body adjustment, but mostly because a prior Chiro told me to adjust only one part of the body was wrong...I have since come to believe different.
Good, solid, affordable Chiropractic care. A side note-parking is a bear, but the lot next door to the office will always let you pop in and park, and Dr. Bruce validates! -

Suffered from chronic muscle spasms in my back for years, and as I get older, it only gets worse. I finally got to a point the other day where I decided to do something about managing it. My friend referred me to Dr. Del Fante, and I was pleased he had good yelp reviews as well.
I called last week and HE answered the phone and booked my appt. (I love that!) He was able to see me the next day (I love that too!). I went to my appt. and I am on my way to being more flexible and soon I will be pain free (it's better, but the pain is moving to different locations as my spine gets reposturized). I already have better posture after only one visit. I like that he does his spinal adjustment manually and not with that metal clicker thingy that some use. I look forward to my next visit! -

I've been to several chiropractors in my day and after finding Dr. Del Fante I stopped looking for any other because he is the holy grail of chiropractors.
I've been going to Dr. Del Fante for almost 15 years and if I ever move from the Bay Area I'm going to insist he follow.
Way back (pun intended) in the mid-90s I developed a gnarly sciatic condition that made sitting for more than 10 minutes make Gitmo look like a Hawaiian vacation. Dr. Del Fante had me back (pun intended) in shape (playing softball, basketball, tennis, etc.) in just a few months time. He showed me excellent stretching/conditioning techniques that have helped me stay healthy and whenever I need a check up he's always there. He is the epitome of a good doctor: attentive, caring, genial and good at what he does.
Why look anywhere else for a good chiropractor? You've just found the best.

Dr. Del Fante is great and everything that I look for in a chiropractor. He's extremely well-priced and to the point with his business. He's never tried to upsell me with "packages" or routines. He almost always fixes my pains with a single, efficient visit.
I have a herniated disc in my lower back, mild scoliosis and a neck that tries to defy me every so often. He's been able to relieve my pain for each of these symptoms when physical therapists and steroid shots have failed. I am a completely satisfied customer. -

As a confirmed skeptic, though not a cynic (regarding health issues), I went to a few chiropractors before finding Bruce (or Dr. Bruce - he's flexible).
My health is thus: I have Fibromyalgia (a long-standing pain condition) and Addison's Disease (I don't have a functioning adrenal gland. At all. In fact the steroids are struggling to keep me going). So after I spent ten days in the hospital, we got rearended. Less than a few weeks later. And I've spent the past year seeing chiropractors in order to manage the pain added due to the accident.
All of this is a long-winded start as to why I was going and how I can give an experienced description as to the plus-sided nature of how Dr. Del Fante has helped, and how he hasn't.
He works out of a fairly well-stocked office that uses a multiple-therapy technique based on what your body needs after a worker or automobile accident that covers not only the basics, but also the extra needs (massage therapy, for instance).
He has never "cracked" me, though he has used a special table that allows him to do gentle twists and turns on the lower portion of my body. He also has an electric stim-type machine to stimulate the muscles in your back. While I can't say he helped with my underlying issues, I can say that it did help to have the three things put together. My back is still causing me pain, but not due to his inabilities, but rather due to those underlying problems he had to work around, as it were.
So he gets a thumbs up style of positive feedback from me. If you need a good, non-woo type Chiropractor I think he's a very good choice. -

Dr. Del Fante was recommended by a friend following a neck strain. This was my first visit to a chiropractor so I don't have much to compare it with. What I can say was that the physical therapy and adjustment he did worked to ease the pain. He's a very nice guy who is competent in what he does.
The office is rather sparce, so while it's not a reflection on the treatment you will receive, I'm always a fan of ambiance. If I personally had a chiropractic office I would play up the whole "medical spa" thing, because who doesn't enjoy that? Alas, that is not my calling so it's not really fair to complain.
He accepts Kaiser which is fabulous, and the location on Piedmont works well for me. Dr. Del Fante has always been accommodating with me (I tend to be a last minute person when it comes to doctor appointments) and he clearly cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does. I would recommend him to anyone who doesn't care about the "extras" and who just wants effective, reliable treatment. -

Dr Del Fante is an excellent chiropractor! He has a state of the art bed that helps spinal movement as i am not a fan of getting cracked. He is able to squeeze me in when my back flares up unexpectedly. He is genuinely concerned in healing and doesn't over treat.
He has two in-house massage therapist. Paul is my personal favorite, he has a complete understanding of body mechanics and is always able to make me feel better when i leave.
As for ambiance, Dr Del Fante has painted, hung pictures and updated his office. It looks very nice. I go for the excellent chiropractic treatment as well as the incredible massages. -

Dr. Del Fante is an amazingly genuine and caring practitioner. My initial visit was for some back pain and he openly told me that an increased exercise regiment would improve my condition...as opposed to suggesting some expensive elaborate treatment.
More recently, when I injured my shoulder, Dr. Del Fante called on numerous occasions to check on me.
Additionally, Dr. Del Fante accepts American Specialty Health Insurance that recently became available through my job.
I highly recommend Dr. Del Fante. -

He is excellent with the basics. He is strong and coordinated enough to make adjustments on me that other chiropractors have struggled with. And he doesn't push the "wierd" stuff as some chiros do. The one thing that would make this office better is if it had massage and other soft tissue treatments offered in conjunction for all his business hours and not just on wednesdays. He is a good chiro and a really nice guy.

Another reviewer commented that Dr. Del Fante was a "rack and crack" chiropractor. I have to agree. I was in horrible pain, couldn't walk, hunched over, crying, etc., etc., etc. After the first session with Dr. Del Fante, which consisted of some electrical stimulation and heat to my lower back and then a lower back adjustment, I was 75% improved. By the time I went back to see him two days later, I was walking (not dancing in the streets yet, but hay) and he repeated the treatment. Three hours later I am sitting up at my computer. The doctor did exactly what I wanted him to do -- provide relief from some excruciatingly bad back pain. After the second treatment, he said I could call him if I needed another adjustment. But no pressure to see him again, no "treatment plan" that would last for three months. Just "you should be good, if you're not, call me." Wow!! Am I happy.

Despite major pain pills I was still in agony from torn cartelidge in my knee. After 7 doctors, major pain pills I was thinking about living in a wheelchair or knee surgery. One adjustment and it was like magic! Anyone thinking about bone, tendon or muscle surgery, go to a chiropractor first! Del Fonte changed my life! Very nice man, answers all questions--all the good stuff. And doesn't hurt like some others can.

Great old style rack them and crack em chiropractor. I am a massage therapist and my work often throws out my upper neck back. His drop in rate is $25 and works from a Spartan space on Piedmont. He helped me a year ago and since then I have trained my wife to do the necessary adjustments but since she is in Europe for 7 weeks I will be back soon. Thanks Bruce!
