Recently purchased a used Volvo C30 from Bruce Cox imports, and had a completely pleasing experience.
James was most helpful in holding the car for us to test drive on a Saturday (we were coming up from Seattle). It was about the most low-pressure sales pitch ever. He just handed us the keys and said go drive it around. They also held the car for a small deposit for a few days while we got our act together.
I plan to take the C30 back up there for service because I had such a good impression of their business, even though it's a fair drive up there. The office and shops were clean and organized, and James was very helpful, straightforward, and knowledgable. -

I drove up to this shop from Seattle to look at a Volvo wagon they listed on Craigs List. The car didn't work out for me but I had a good experience dealing with Bruce and his staff.
He was straightforward about the car, its pluses and minuses, the issues common to the model and so on. If the occasion arose again to look at a used foreign car and they had one on the lot, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with them.

History
Established in 1995
Bruce has a long history in the service and repair of Import vehicles. After receiving a certificate in Automotive Technology from Renton Vocational Technical Institute, Bruce spent 10 years as a technician in the service department of a Seattle-area Mercedes/BMW dealer, and later, the local Bellingham Volvo dealer.
In 1995, Bruce opened Bruce Cox Imports, specializing in the service of Volvos. Within a few years, he added the equipment and technology necessary to perform high-quality service on Lexus and Subaru vehicles.
It wasn't long before many of their loyal clients began asking for help finding a quality pre-owned vehicle. Thus began Bruce's second career as a car salesman? with absolutely no experience. Many of our clients believe this lack of typical sales training is what sets Bruce apart from the rest of the pack!
