I LOVE Stacy at Browtique! She has done my brows and upper lip and now a brazilian! She got me in extremely fast and was amazing! It was the fastest and BEST brazilian I have ever had! She is sweet as can be and extremely professional. EVERYONE should go to her! Thank you Stacy :)

What's with this place. I've called left messages for appointments and called multiple times a day during their business house on different days. No answer, no call backs. You shouldn't have to walk in to make an appointment.

Hilda is the BEST!
She makes the experience of getting a Brazilian wax as pain free as possible. She eliminates the awkwardness of the situation and chats with you the whole time and will make you forget about what's really going on :)
Hilda has even been kind enough to schedule me last minute and is always able to find a spot for my by reworking her schedule.
The salon itself is very cute, and I appreciate that they have a "be quiet" policy. The last thing I want to hear when getting a Brazilian wax is someone chatting on their cell phone.. The actual rooms where the 'magic' happens are very relaxing and dimly lite with the most FABULOUS decor...
The only down side is parking. Parking anywhere on the Miracle Mile is a bit difficult, and it seems that every time I come to this area there is some type of parade or construction.... ugh -

I met Hilda over four years ago when she was at reflections. When you think about getting a Brazilian, first thing that comes to mind is OUCH! That is what I thought my experience would be like. Hilda proved me wrong! She made and still makes the process very easy and as painless as possible.
Some people ask, isn't it awkward to expose yourself like that to someone you don't know? In theory yes I'm sure it can be, but not with Hilda. From the moment you step into her "transformation room" (it's what I like to call it), she makes you feel so comfortable. Never an awkward moment because during session, your conversation with her will make you feel as if you've known her for years! She is by far the most professional wax lady I know!
Now, you wanna talk about brows? Let me tell you honey! I had no idea that my before brows were even bad (denial I guess). One day, during a Brazilian, I asked Hilda if we could maybe work on my brows! You should have seen the way her eyes lit up!!!! The professional that she is never wanted to tell me she wanted so badly to do my brows and was relieved when I asked. I had to grow them out for three weeks the first time and OMG when she first waxed them, they were AMAZING! Four years later, I still have the nicest KimK-esque brows! I get compliments all the time.
Hilda is a was genius.....better yet, wax goddess!!! -

Hilda is absolutely amazing!!! I cannot stress how wonderful and professional she is-absolutely hilarious too! Definitely the place to go for a brazilian- or eyebrows! It's amazing how much put together you look just after getting your eyebrows done.
I'm super picky about my eyebrows- and I'm sure if I ever move out of Stockton I'll be sure to travel the distance just for an appointment. I know that my friend who lives in Sacramento does!
The place is super clean and relaxing- and Hilda is always finding ways to fit her clients into her busy schedule. She is, after all, a woman in high demand.
I seriously, seriously, seriously, suggest you consider.
You will thank me later. -

Great place!!
I found out about Browtique by checking Yelp, and saw that it had good reviews. I needed a bikini wax and only had 2 days left before my trip. Stacy not only got me in the next day, but allowed me to come in early since I had to work at 10.
It is very cute inside, and the location is ideal- right on the Miracle Mile. Stacy was very professional, easy to talk to, and did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. -

I was in need of a brazilian wax for the upcoming New Years weekend and chose Browtique due to the positive reviews here on Yelp. I called this morning hoping for an available appt today and Hilda was so very accommodating! Lucky for me, someone had cancelled so I was able to get in. The reviews of Hilda and the shop were spot on! Hilda was amazing and I experienced the least pain of any brazilian I've ever had! I recommend this location to anyone in need of waxing!!

Pros: great customer service, prompt call backs, accommodating, great waxing experience-quick and thorough(Stacy).
Cons: Can't think of any.
Cute location, cheerful owners/staff, I always seem to come here every-time i'm in town, and I'm never disappointed! Whether you're waxing your brows or elsewhere- Stacy is a pro, no awkward moments. :) -

Stacy shaped my eyebrows yesterday and she did such a good job! I didn't have to tell her how to do it, she just knew exactly what I needed! So professional, and made me feel very comfortable. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks. I finally get why everyone raves about this place! Go there and see for yourself!

Followed Hilda here after she left Reflections, she's absolutely wonderful. She always makes me feel at ease and she's so easy-going, just having a normal convo with me, which is always a good thing during a Brazilian wax. I wouldn't trust anyone else but Hilda, I'd recommend her a thousand times over.

I am so happy that Browtique is open! The location is great, the place is spacious and welcoming. It's about time a Salon like this came to Stockton.
My friend recommended me to Stacy over 4 years ago and I have been a loyal client ever since. She's great at Brazilian waxing ( I consider her a specialist in this area), and eyebrow shaping. She made me feel comfortable and her work is great! Now I recommend her to everyone I know! She is great at Facials too! I can't wait to see what great new products Browtique will be offerring! -

The name of this place is very cute and fitting. I went here with some friends to get brazilian waxes and Stacy was very professional and made the experience enjoyful. We are all definitely coming back. The prices are also very reasonable (and I'm a college student!). The waxing room was very clean. The front waiting area outside could use some more furniture/items because it's pretty empty but it's not like anyone really uses this area anyways.

Love going here to get my brows waxed by HIlda. She is very personable, and makes you feel so comfortable. Michell the massage therapist is AWESOME as well. She gives the best Deep tissue, hot stone, and prenatal massage EVER. Highly recommed all the ladies in this shop.

This place is as good as it gets. I followed Hilda from Reflections. She really is the best at what she does. I can't say I'm the most comfortable person when it comes to "putting it all out there", but Hilda is so professional and almost makes you forget that she's fixing up an area that normally only a significant other/medical professional would have the pleasure of viewing (ok, sorry, I had to!). The salon is very clean and minimalist, very stylish! I have yet to have anything remotely near a bad experience, and in almost four years, that definitely speaks volumes about the service. I would definitely recommend Browtique and Hilda to anyone, even a complete stranger (which I guess I'm doing right now... see?). :)

Hilda is just amazing! I've been going to her for about 4 years now and folllowed her here from Reflections. This place is clean, professional, stylish...it's just got everything. I will never trust another living soul with waxing me after I've been waxed by this wonderful lady. I tell everyone to go see her because she's the best. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and is a wonderful person to talk to. What's not to like about Hilda?! Go here and you'll understand why I love this place so much. Kudos!!

Hilda is the best! I have been getting a Brazilian wax for many years. Prior to Hilda I would travel all the way to Brentwood because everyone in Stockton was way too expensive and the quality was not there. Until five years ago I meet Hilda and life was easier. Hilda is not only my wax girl but my friend as well.

Customer service was great. I had such a great first experience here. I was considering getting a Brazilian done but I was terrified bc I heard it's gonna hurt. I have a low tolerance for pain. I did all sorts of research and found hilda. There were lots of great reviews on yelp in regards to her performing a Brazilian and how great she was at doin it. They were all true. I was so nervous when I arrived there I almost chickened out. When hilda came out to greet me, she was very friendly and she kept me at ease. Through out the procedure she talked to me so I can keep my mind off of what was being done. She was also very kind in workin at a pace I can deal with. I would most definitely go back to browtique and most definitely recommend Hilda to anyone who's either lookin for a good place to get a Brazilian or a good place for their first Brazilian.

I had my first Brazilian wax from Hilda when she was at Reflections. I was super nervous but I was told by one of my friends that she was amazing and made you feel totally comfortable. I have been going to her for over a year now and I have had almost 10 of my friends also go to her because I have a tendency to over-share and then badger them into going. I was so excited when Hilda told me she was opening her own salon and I have to say it totally reflects her and her business partner's style so much more. I love that the location is down-town, there's parking in the back and front, and it's a lot more easily visible then where she was before. Hilda is amazing and really goes out of her way to make her customer's happy. I honestly do not ever feel nervous about going to her because she makes a really uncomfortable experience go by so much faster.

I went here today and was serviced by Stacy..she was friendly from the get-go. I informed her this was my first time and i was super nervous. We went over some options and I chose the bikini over the brazillian .. since 1. im 9 months pregnant and it's more sensitive with all the up and down hormones and 2. i didnt know if i cld handle the whole thing considering its my first time. Stacy made it very comfortable for me and got me a pillow as well as a magazine. the procedure was pretty quick and not as painful as i thought it was.. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will definitely come back when my babygirl is here!

Hilda is a godsend! I was talked into getting a Brazilian wax with her from this place. First, parking was ridiculous because they were doing construction. The parking lot is in the back with Subway. I walked down this hallway and was freaking out. I thought it was going to be a bit janky, but I was wrong. My friend and I went into this place and there was like no furniture. It was dimly lit, which was weird, too. I guess I was just psyching myself out. We both got Brazilian waxes here by Hilda. It was both of ours' first times! Boy were we nervous. Hilda took us in one at a time so we wouldn't psych each other even more. When it was my turn, I was panicking. Hilda was so calming. She was just so nice and really made me comfortable. She was telling me how people from like LA come to her. I didn't know if she was lying or not, but she was saying how I wouldn't feel a thing. She was so right. She had some tantric music playing and candles and the lights were dim... it was pretty relaxing. Nothing hurt! She gave me a deal the first time. It was money well spent! Plus, I had no redness or soreness afterwards!

I returned to Hilda after first meeting her at Reflections four years ago and then moving to SF. I travel home when in need of an eyebrow and lip waxing and she is {AMAZING}!! I would never think of going to any one else she is sweet, comfortable, accommodating, and perfect at what she does!! I love this place and would recommend everyone to go here!

Ask for Hilda, all the way! She is awesome, warm, friendly and does the job with minimal "ouch". I had a brazilian and my lip waxed. I think my husband wants to send her flowers...LOL! I was a new client that she fit in the day I called...and now, I'll only go to her!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! That's not usually my response to a wax in the hinterlands, but if it's possible to have a great experience, this is the place that has it. Previous to finding this place, I had two AWFUL experiences and swore I'd never even attempt a Brazilian again. (One place was so bad, I had her stop half-way through!) But my experience at Browtique was completely different! Stacy is GREAT, and makes the experience as comfortable as possible. She is very professional and does a great job. I recommend her to each and everyone I know!
