Brown's Catering is cut above with their attention to detail and quality service, from the staff working in the office to the waitstaff. My experience with them was well worth the price I paid for my wedding!

We were planning our wedding for August of this year when my fiance and I got some surprising news....we were expecting a baby! We had already had our tasting (which was phenomenal and pretty much sealed the deal for us) and booked Brown's for late August. When I called to change the date to May 1st, they were more than accommodating. I worked with Luba a number of times and she was so very helpful with every single question I had.

We loved that they did ALL the set up and clean up, provided all the plates, chargers, cutlery, glasses and linens for the entire event, and also provided a personal butler for my groom and me!! At one point during our day, I needed baby powder at and my three year-old ring bearer had a specific request for potato chips and the butler immediately ran to the nearest store to fulfill our requests! One of my favorite features of their service was that they packaged a special meal for my groom and me, as well as pieces of specially reserved cake for us....We were able to enjoy that in our honeymoon suite after the whole day was over and we could actually relax and enjoy our delicious food! Overall, it was an amazing experience.

At first, we were taken aback by the price, but when we realized the value of the service and that we were truly going to get what we paid for, we didn't hesitate to go with Brown's Catering. Our guests all raved about the food (parmesan and prescuitto stuffed chicken and lemon baked chicken) and Chef Anthony was amiable, accommodating, easy to work with, and even made a special appearance at our wedding! VERY happy customers!!

We used Browns for our wedding and weren't very impressed. First off, the girl that handled our paperwork and details was a complete moron. She couldn't even get my name right. For the third time, it's Mike, not Mark. Then when we went back to finalize our menu and paperwork almost everything was incorrect. Once we had everything hashed out we left worrying that things would be wrong on the big day.

Well, thanks to Jaylene things were wrong. We didn't use their bar service but in our contract the catering team was supposed to set up our beer and wine glasses. When I told the team leader where the glasses were he said he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him that Jaylene had promised that in our contract but of course it wasn't anywhere to be found. At this point I had to get dressed in ten minutes and didn't have time to mess around with the BS. I could feel my blood beginning to boil and in my most quiet anger laden voice I commenced to tell him how painful this process was and how much of an idiot Jaylene was. Sensing my anger and frustration with everything he agreed to set up the glasses which was pretty cool.

As the night came to an end we had a lot of leftovers and decided to donate them to a women's shelter. When they asked how much we wanted to take home we told them that we had family in town so we wanted enough food and cake to feed us and a couple of people. When we got home for the night we realized that they only gave us two styrofoam to go boxes and two small pieces of cake. There was enough food to feed two people, lame. The thing that pissed us off the most was that the cake was hand made by a friend and there was a lot left, so to only get two small pieces was really crappy. The only saving grace was that the food was decent but everything else sucked. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

We had a really good experience with Brown's catering for our wedding this past May 2010.  They were well organized, did an amazing job setting up all the tablecloths and chairs, were very accommodating to a few last minute changes, were very friendly, the food was phenomenal and they packaged up all the leftovers for us to eat and share after the wedding.
I feel like all the catering services are overpriced, but at least Brown's seemed to work out to be the same as the others and Brown's simplifies the price quote much more than other caterer's.

I am getting married in July and looking for a caterer. We went to Brown's for a tasting and decided based on the terrible experience NOT to use them. First they quoted me a reasonable price of $5000. When we arrived it went up to $13000, with no explanation. Suddenly salads weren't included with the meal and then they had to take the bottles off our beer (which we didn't want them to serve) for $4 a piece! Give me a break! We felt uncomfortable with the incredibly pushy selling technique. We had to put on our coats and state several times "we're leaving" before they let us go!
