This place nearly made me weep tears of pure joy!  They have an amazing selection of beers and wines, especially imports, many of which I have been unable to find elsewhere in this state and others because of rarity.

They also have a great selection of cheese and food items.  This is my new Mecca, I swear it!

Bless you IWC.  You have made this Springfield transition from another state that much more pleasant!

This is the first place I go when looking for anything alcoholic in Springfield. They have 6 different Absinthe's for crying out loud. Their beer selection is only matched by the Brown Derby near MSU campus and almost by the Dillons near MSU.
They have wine, cheese, liquor, and a host of other alcohol related goodies.

Love this place. My hubby and I will spend hours in the beer aisle. Not even exaggerating. It's awesomely large.

Once a week we will go and pick out a beer to try. It's going to take us a while to get through it all, but geez their selection is killer!

Oh, and they have a humongous wine selection, too. And a mighty liquor/scotch wall that's also overwhelming. Did I mention they have party food, gifts, and books, too?

Being overwhelmed with choices is a good thing, and the staff are there to help you choose, too!

There's nowhere else you need to go when looking for specialty beers.  If they don't have it here, it's unlikely you'll find it anywhere else.  They have a huge selection of wines, too, but being that my knowledge of wines is akin to that of, say, an infant's understanding of dark matter, I'll refrain from suggesting it good or bad.

They have a St. Louis selection of foods (among other locales), but no Red Hot Riplets!  You can't get these anywhere in town, and it would be great if they started stocking them.  Please. I need my fix.

This place is a real gem. Of course the wine and beer selection is amazing. But I dare you to try and walk through the gourmet foods section without making a purchase! You'll also find many high-end food and beauty gift items ranging from Burt's Bees, Crabtree and Evelyn, Thyme, and many others. This is a great place to browse.

From time to time, the store also hosts wine tastings.

At the very back of the store, check out the overstock and closeout section. You can find some great bargains, as well as fun items like wooden wine crates and colorful cigar boxes.

Some of the staff seems very snobbish and stand-offish, but I never have trouble finding a friendly, helpful smile if I look around.

This is it! The pinnacle of Springfield beverage obtainment. Naturally, this place offers an array of wine, beer, and liquor as well as an assortment of sophisticated sustenance like international cheeses and gourmet chocolate. Given my adoration for beer, I usually breeze right past these items to the brewski department which outlines the rear and west wing of the store. The beer selection is tremendously comprehensive as it offers a broad selection of imports, craft/micro brews, and seasonals. This beverage spread is constantly changing as new seasonal varieties and special releases get absorbed into the stock. This makes the task of finding something new a cinch.

They have an impressive display of 12 oz single bottles that can be gathered into a build your own six-pack. As someone who likes to dabble in numerous flavors, the explorative nature of "the build your own" is a valuable way to quickly broaden the palette... Should you be overwhelmed or unable to locate something? Just ask the helpful and knowledgeable staff about their brewski offerings. The staff typically is aware of when things are coming to their store, and have even been known to place a special order for an eager customer. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the inclusion of the bottom rung beer (miller, bud)  into the otherwise awesome selection. I feel like this is the one place that should be untainted with the low brow beer... Just a thought and perhaps a slight tangent. But seriously, this place is a Sprinfieldiean trophy with a tremendous beverage prowess.

If they don't have here, you probably don't need it that badly. Seriously, enough beer, wine, & spirits selection to keep even the most discriminating palates busy for a long, long time.

The most impressive feature, though, is the professionalism and product knowledge exhibited by their staff. If you have a question, they certainly have the answer. Chat them up. You'll definitely learn something new.

One of the coolest shops I know of around. Yes they have wine, A Lot Of Wine, an amazing selection of beer, and of course every Liquor you can imagine, but they have SOOOO much more. Anything from an amazing selection of international cheeses to all kinds of other gourmet foods, great gift ideas for anyone... I could make this list go on and on but It would be a really long review, just go check it out for yourself. Their staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable on all of their products and if you tell them you like a specific wine but want to try something different, they'll give you three other options and tell you how they compare.  I always enjoy my visits there and usually end up spending way to long looking around rather that getting across the street and giving blood, (see my last review). if you've never visited this place, I would recommend you give it a try.

Huge wine selection. Pretty good liquor selection. Friendly staff and very clean. Specialty beer selection is great and they sell single bottles that you can mix and match with a 3 bottle minimum. They also have a wide variety of meats and cheeses for snacks if you desire. My only complaint, and this is coming from a Captain and diet drinker, is that the only soda they sell is from a mini cooler near the checkout which holds about 12- 20oz bottles; however I didn't mind stopping elsewhere for soda since they had an amazing special on Captain Morgan.

I am writing this review with their beer selection specifically in mind. This place is as good as it gets for a comprehensive craft/micro brew selection, offering tons of different breweries (and their seasonal specialties) from America-with a tighter focus on the Mid-west and the rest of the world. If they do not have your particular six pack of choice, they will definitely have a 20-24oz banger of another brewery for you to grab. And, if you can't find it, ask some of the people that work there and they will do what it takes to give you an answer. One young gentleman called up his distributer, ordered a few 6ers, and had it for us in a couple of days. Every time I go in here thinking I'll just jump in and grab something quickly, I end up spending at least 10 minutes looking around for new stuff to try. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the rest of the items they carry, e.g. Cheese, Wine, Liquor, Cigars, decorative momsy stuff, so I won't comment about the selection with anything other than they have a lot of everything. Come in and get lost for a while.
