Is it possible to give Gemma 10 stars? If so, she definitely deserves every single one and more! I'm getting married this Saturday and realized my white skin glow last week - and it simply will not do! I emailed Gemma and she was very quick to respond. I asked several questions, which she answered in detail. Once I decided to book, she emailed me right away about the do's and don'ts of the pre-tanning process.
I hardly had to wait for a response, she is lightning fast!
I felt confident that I was going to be happy and OMG -I love my spray tan. Her space is super easy to get to and she offers parking right in front of her garage, if the other spaces are full. She greets you with a smile and then leads you into the salon. She has you fill out a little questionnaire that took less than 5 min. She explained what would happen and then we got right down to it. She showed me the positions I would be standing in and we were done in about 20 min. I followed all the rules and let me tell you, the compliments on my skin have not stopped! I decided I loved it so much that I asked her to come to my house this time.
She came this morning to tan my fiance and I. She arrive right on time with all of her equipment, set up fast and we were ready to go. She left zero mess and cleaned up faster than her set up.
I plan to recommend Gemma to all of my friends and family- I have a feeling that new shoes and bags will have to wait, I've found my new addiction:

Just got a mobile spray tan from Gemma. It was my first one! Gemma made me feel very comfortable and I love my tan! It looks so natural! Okay I might be over-using the exclamation marks but what they hey!!! Gemma deserves them!!! And the 5 stars !!!!!!

I check Yelp to help me find good spray tan salon and found Brown Bunz rated very high. I contacted Gemma to schedule and appointment a little over a week ahead of time. The following day I received an email confirming our appointment. I sent another email to get the address and never heard back. I waited a week for her to respond and she never did. Not sure if this was fluke but if you need an appointment I suggest you call somewhere else as a backup.

Gemma - you are a goddess.
I bought a tanning voucher from Voice Deals and emailed Gemma before my big vacation. She got back to me right away and gave me a few times to choose from. She thoroughly explained the tanning process and gave me some tips on what to do before my tanning experience.
I have never gone airbrush tanning so this was all new to me, but boy was it well worth it.
Gemma came over (right on time!) and set up in my shower. She had a mat and plugged in the machine (it looked like a giant vacuum cleaner). She put me in a variety of poses and sprayed me with a sweet smelling solution. The experience wasn't the best (the spray was a tad cold) but she made it as quick as possible.
When it was all over, I had a mild glow and Gemma told me to let it air dry for a bit while she cleaned up. The whole thing, introductions, setting up, spraying, cleaning and paying, took all of 30 minutes. It was amazing.
The aftereffects were what made the 30 minutes well worth it - I was a natural rosy tan - Gemma had explained that the solution had pink undertones and therefore would not appear yellow/orange/yuck. I looked like I just came from St Tropez even though I was on my way to St Tropez.
My tan faded after a week or so but since I was in St Tropez I had no trouble getting it back.

She brings her own tent, tanning machine and blowdryer, so the convenience factor is huge.

Gemma= INCREDIBLENESS. She is amazing. I called her this past Friday on July 1 at six pm because I needed a tan for the weekend. Hello it was the FOURTH of JULY weekend and I was going to be spending my whole weekend on the lake and there was no way I was gonna let those country bumpkins see my white legs. So I give Gemma a call and she tells me to get there by 6:45pm and she will fit me in. I rush over to her place, which is right near USF and park. I run up the stairs and this pretty girl answers the door. Totally cute, and really I felt like she was my friend and I just met the broad. She even offers me a beer. Of course I don't take her up on the offer but she was totally genuine about making people feel at home.
The spray tan is great. Gemma uses a really cool product that does not smell at all, and it almost is an instant effect. I had no streaks, no blotching expect for my feet had a few spots but nothing a little alcohol could fix, and for real Gemma made sure she got every nook and cranny. It was awesome. She sprays you in her bathroom tub and you do have to wait a few minutes to dry but she comes back and checks on you and makes sure the tan is set before you put your clothes on.
So the price is $50 if you go to her place. Yes this is more expensive that other tanning salons...However most places that spray you with a technician use a sort of airbrush device. Gemma's instrument is seriously like a blow dryer. That thing is magical. It is so effective at giving you even coverage. I love it. Also most places that claim to use a better quality solution than other places are pretty legit however, I hate to say that the booth just doesn't give you the same love that Gemma gives you. Living in SF, being tan is not very important. However, being tan IS important if you're going to a bachelorette party in Las Vegas where you'll be spending 90% of your time in a bathing suit and taking pictures with your girlfriends from San Diego who are all deep bronze. Yeah, being the pale one in the middle makes you look sickly.
This spray tanning experience combined all the things I love about a service: 1) convenient, 2) easy, 3) decently priced. If a $50 tan lasts for nearly 2 weeks and doesn't give me any sort of sunburn, peeling, or potential cancer, I'm sold!
Gemma was professional, fun, accommodating, and all the directions/tips on the website were easy to follow. I am glowing, and I'm not even pregnant!
I will definitely be back before my friend's wedding! -

I haven't ever spray tanned before so I checked out the Yelp reviews and they were right on! Gemma is awesome. This looks totally natural and as fair as I am, not at all orange. I love it! I wish it was permanent!
Wasn't crazy about the smell, but after a couple of days, it goes away.
I'll be back and will tell my friends! I would prefer to be tan for real, but when that's not possible, this is a great option. And Gemma is super nice on top of it! -

Wow! What a difference a tan makes! I have spray tanned before, and this is by far my favorite. No streaks, no color blotches, no sticky smelly feel, and most importantly NO orange!! I'm hooked.
Gemma really knows what she is doing. She is ontime, affordable and professional. I felt completely comfortable getting my full bod spray on!:) I honestly feel like I just got back from vacation and just worked out like crazy. I will be a repeat customer for sure.
P.s. it's been almost a week and my tan is still good. -

This is a five-star review simply because I have two requirements for airbrush tanning - that it looks bronze instead of "orange" and that the knuckles and elbows don't come out fake-looking which gives away the secret. Of course it all depends on the technician, and Gemma did the most even, bronze, natural-looking airbrush I ever had. She is the first one to get the knuckles and elbows right, plus the tan on the back of my hands is totally seamless with the non-tanned palms. Quick and painless procedure - don't go anywhere else. Gemma ROCKS and I would give 10 stars if I could !

Two tanned thumbs up for Brown Bunz.
I was always worried that I would turn orange with a spray tan as I have a fair skin. After Gemma had finished spraying me I looked great - it was a very natural shade, and the initial spray leaves behind a gorgeous sparkle - great for a night out (and it washes off in the shower the next day, leaving the lovely tan behind!)
I was amazed that I could go from pasty white to healthy, fabulous tan in 30 minutes. I'm hooked. I will never go on vacation looking reflective again!
I highly recommend giving Brown Bunz a shot - Gemma is awesome and the price is right. -

I've been a bronze addict for my entire life: sunshine, tanning beds, spray booths and then the beloved airbrush glow... When I moved to SF last year, I was still driving home two hours EACH WAY for my sunkissed look. Because I'm an addict and was terrified to try anyone new and be left with an orange, streaky, smelly mess of myself, I secretly commuted once a week for my tried and true girl at home... and then I bit the bullet. And Gemma changed my life!
Not only does she come to ME (on time, every time), everything about the experience is the best I've ever had: sets up and cleans up - you'd never know she was even there, applies THE most flawless, even, perfectly perfectly authentic looking glow, is super attentive and is so sweet you want to pour her a glass of wine and make her stay awhile. The tan doesn't feel sticky like those I've had in the past, I don't notice a smell and it fade more naturally than any I have ever had - like a real suntan. Oh - I did try a non-mobile recently, and her studio is adorable (with great parking).
NOW, I will never leave SF - and if I do, I will be commuting for Gemma. -

Five stars all around: price, product, and of course the customer service!
-The price was less than salon prices plus it's in the comfort of your own home.
-Gemma started me off with a yummy exfoliant. Next came the tan. To tell the truth I had my reservations.
-First off I am naturally on the darker side and wasn't sure the
product would really have an effect on me.
-Also I have dry skin that needs to moisturized everyday. As
know you can not apply and creams to your skin for at least 8 hours
after your tan
All of my reservations have been washed away! The color of my skin looked great. I looked like I just returned from a beach vacation. When I went out the following night I received many compliments on my tan. After speaking with Gemma I also found out there is a moisturizer in the tanning solution...I skin did not look dry or ashy following the tan.
Gemma is very personable and has a way of making the process as comfortable and efficient as possible.
Brown Bunz gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from this yelper! -

Awesome experience. I am glow in the dark pale. I have freckles. I don't tan really. I've always been afraid of sunless tanners because I don't want to look fake. These fears have only intensified since Jersey Shore first aired. Gemma totally understood. I was completely comfortable with the whole process while I was there, and now no longer look like I've been hiding in a cave my entire life. I also think the whole mobile tan idea is pretty awesome. I'm sure I'll come up with some reason to use that option in the future. Thanks Gemma!

I believe in was almost a week ago that I met with Gemma at Brown Bunz and I am still golden brown!
I have fair to light skin and I will admit, I too was nervous that I may turn orange after my session with Brown Bunz but that simply was not the case.
The "procedure" was quick, easy and comfortable and the results were instant. This is an excellent substitute for a tan that comes from harmful UV Rays and I would recommend it to anyone! -

My experience was absolutely amazing. I'm a very busy woman so making time for a tan is usually not in the cards for me but Brown Bunz Mobile tanning is so quick and easy that making it fit into my schedule is never an issue.
Plus it's such a natural looking tan it's hard not to get addicted. Every time I get one I always get asked if I've just gotten back from vacation!

Amazing!!! I got tanned by Gemma before an event and she was so sweet and comforting because it was my first time getting spray tanned and I was a little nervous. All fears aside, I ended up looking bronzed and beautiful....no orange in sight! I can't wait to use her again.

For those that are looking for a place to have someone professionally airbrush you with NO TAN LINES, this is the place to go! I have to admit, I was nervous being that I had never had a spray tan before, but the results are really amazing. I have incredibly fair skin and was worried about it looking fake. Not only that I really didn't want tan lines so I sucked up my nervousness and had the tan done in my birthday suit.
Gemma not only did a great job but I actually felt comfortable talking to a complete stranger while I air dried. I figure, the girl has seen it all before. She did a great job in answering all my questions and giving me tips on how to prolong my tan while being realistic about it being a temporary solution. Rather than try and sell me on pricey products she educated me on how I could keep the tan going by using some over the counter options to avoid paying hefty prices in department stores.
She uses a great product called Infinity Sun, it has a pinkish undertone so that it mimics what your skin would look like had you actually been in the sun. After my session, I felt like I spent the day at the beach...sans the harm of the sun's rays and I wasn't orange.
I definitely did my research before my appointment and found that Gemma was one of the few people that actually posted which product she uses. Other sites / businesses don't state that on their website and I appreciated the fact that I could read up on what it was she would be using.
I will definitely be getting this done again for upcoming weddings and events. I only wish I had tried this sooner! -

I recently met with Gemma and I love love love the airbrush I got!! I was in a wedding this weekend and everyone commented on my 'glow'- when I told them it was an airbrush job- they're number one reaction was 'but you're not orange?!?!' I explained to them that Brown Bunz uses Infinity Sun spray rather than an orange based tan so you look brazilian, not like an oompa loompa!! Loved my personalized experience and she was willing to do group discounts if I recruited friends- UMM...let me think about this one...YES!!! I highly recommend Brown Bunz and I've been to every spray tan in the Marina- it's such a great coloring- and it doesn't stink!!

Gemma is awesome!!! I've reserved many spray tans and this experience was by far the best. She is very professional and made me feel super comfortable. The color of the tan was perfect and its been about a week and i still look great!!
