Been wanting to go since they opened. Was in need of an overhaul! Jady reshaped my brows via threading & tweezing. 1st time client "3 pack" package was sooo affordable and doesn't expire for two years! Rockin' establishment, thank u.

Although it's tough for me to get downtown, this is worth the trip. Scored a fab deal on a package for brow threading. They did a really great job; quick, thorough and gave me the look that I asked for. Awesome crepes just across the street plus they have waxing and other services available in-house. Highly recommend.

I would've given them 4 stars if it wasn't for the service at the front desks.

I understand that I was a walk-in and didn't have an appointment, but these ladies were pretty dismissive when I first arrived. Their front-desk situation is a little confusing.. they kept sending me from one desk to another.  I had been growing out my eyebrows for a good 3-4 weeks so I needed them done NOW. At first they told me no, they didn't have anything open asap but I finally was told that yes, actually, they could take me.

Browhaus is known for shaping. Kande did waxing and tweezing on me and did a great job! 4 stars to her. She gave me a beautiful arch on both brows, cleaned them up, but kept them on the thicker side like I asked. She was also super nice.

At the end of the service though, the woman at the front desk repeatedly hinted at gratuity, which I had already directly given to the girl who serviced me. She mentioned it about three times until I had to tell her I had already given it to her. Rude.

Overall, I would go back to Browhaus. Even at about $30 a pop, Kande did a good job and I think it was worth the price. Its hard to find trustworthy eyebrow places nowadays.. I'd put my trust in Kande again in the future.

Beauticians are very good at what they do, threading, waxing and particularly extensions. They are all very pleasant as well. The administrative staff for the most part are abrasive and act annoyed to be dealing with you. The prices are reasonable, however, the push to buy "packages" I was less than impressed with. I'm finding more often in the US that everyone is about the up-sell which can often ruin the experience.

I will go back for the beauticians, when I have gotten over the treatment by the admin.

I have had two very positive experiences here.  I didn't have an appointment and was taken right away. The brow technicians were very nice and explained what they were doing before they did it. They asked me what I was look i was going for (basically not to look like Mr. Spock or Bert -as in Bert and Ernie). Both times they threaded me (is that the right way to say that?) and my brows came out great. They fixed the crappy job my local nail salon did.

I think the prices are pretty reasonable and will definitely come back.

This business really needs a wake up call. Their front desk staff is terrible - rude inefficient, like they're doing you a favor. And if you call on a weekend, you can't make an appointment b/c no one is handling the phones but have to leave a message. I'm really disappointed b/c I was looking for a neighborhood go-to place but it's just too disorganized and badly run to be reliable. Having said that, the women who do the brow threading can be excellent. i've had 2 great brow-shaping/threading treatments and 1 bad one with an empty 'gash' left in one of my brows. All in all, I'm going elsewhere.

Meh, way too pricey for the results. I feel like I've only been serviced by threading-bots who give the same brows with lackluster enthusiasm.

I've been three times but honestly, now that Benefit is open in Soho I won't be going back.

I've been here a few times for threading (any other service here would put me back enough to have to skip lunch for a week) and I'm pretty happy with how my brows turn out each time.

I will try and justify the $24 price tag for you:

    -Trendy Soho location
-Ambiance: You get to sit in dentist style chairs complete with dentist style lights but sans dentist style pain
-Service: Super detail oriented.  Not your in-and-out in 5 minutes type of place (That's what she said?)  Depending on your technician, I would budget at least 15 minutes for your appointment.

I've been lucky with the receptionist each time; I felt they've all been pretty nice to me (so nice that they suckered me into buying a 3-pack brow threading service with them... dammit! I think I save $10??)  I also walked in after 5 on a Friday and I didn't get any slack for it (I know another reviewer mentioned they had a negative experience for walk-ins.)

I would recommend going to this place every 2-3 months, if you're craving for a different shape in your brows.  For touch-ups, go to your normal $7 threading places. :)

Went back recently, had another technician and I'm very, very happy with the way my brow looks now. She did them beautifully even and of course the lady plucked any little hairy imperfection away.

I think the trick is just to ask for a "clean up" rather than asking them to shape it???

I go to Morgan at Browhaus and she does a really great job - I needed advice on how to get my brows looking their best and she gave great tips on how to improve my shape without thinning my brows at all. She was super thorough with the threading and tweezing and spent a good amount of time making my shape perfect!

Also, the front desk staff here is really really friendly, always very polite and they do their best to accommodate your schedule. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but I find that it's worth it for the great service and helpful staff who go the extra mile.

First of all I was late. I had an appointment for 1 but got there at 1:30. I did call however letting the receptionist know that I was gonna be in a couple mins after my appt time.

Morgan was cool, friendly and asked questions. She wanted to know the look I was going for. It was neat and relaxing. One of the LEAST painful threading experiences I've had. I had a groupon, still gave a tip and paid tax. VERY expensive according to the price list and services.

As many reviewers stated, the place is quite industrial and chic at the same time. I would like to get my lashes done there, and a few other things for a special occasion, like my bday/christmas.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that my groupon paid for an upper lip threading as well as the brow tweeze and thread, and Morgan didn't touch my upper lip at all. I do have a slight stache, but whatever.

I will go back, if my hubby's paying :)

A Lifebooker deal on lash extensions ($65, originally $145) is what originally lured me out to Browhaus. After three visits, two different services and nearly $140, later, I am just not sure if I'll go back. In this case, however, that doesn't necessarily mean I won't recommend Browhaus to other people for certain services with particular technicians.

First, commendations are in order for the front desk personal, both via phone and in person. They are super pleasant cheerful, and spend all the time needed explaining answers to any questions you may have about the various services and pricing. Second, the salon space is chic industrial and, while the services such as eyelash extensions and threading are not done in private rooms, you'll find that the space in easy to relax in and heated chairs will keep you comfortably toasty throughout the procedures. Third, getting an appointment is fairly easy and if you don't happen to live nearby, it's super close plenty of different subway lines.

I've had both lash extensions and threading done here. The lash brand they use is called Lash in Bloom. This particular brand of lashes is not very natural feeling or looking. The lashes are actually very hard and even if you get the 'natural' shape/size, they are going to look as if you are wearing those false eyelashes you can glue on yourself. And hey, those can be great--for a special occasion or Halloween, but for everyday wear, it can be a bit much. Additionally, the application process finalizes with a strong-smelling glue that burns the hell out of your eyes when you first open them. I had tears pouring down my face for a good five minutes. The removal process is more or less painless, but it leaves your eyelashes brittle and broken. It's been nearly two months and my lashes still are not back to normal.

On the plus side of these extensions, a touch up is free up to seven days after the initial application. However, while I loved the work my first technician (Michelle), who made my lashes even and full, resulting in tons of compliments, the touch I received (Krystal) was sub-par. Krystal was friendly and fun to chat with, but when I opened my eyes, I look like a drag queen. The spacing was off and there were just far too many lashed on my lids. They were uneven and the application lasted less than two weeks. I followed care instructions carefully: no mascara, gently washing with oil-free soap, no makeup remover, avoid steam rooms. I did not go swimming at all. I then had to go to PAY to have them removed. Yes, they charge you to remove them.

Eyebrow threading, on the other hand, is FANTASTIC here. Krystal (same gal who worked on my lashes) comes highly recommended for this service, especially if you live/work near the salon and don't mind paying a bit more than average for a great threading experience. My eyebrows were perfectly shaped in minutes. Krystal was super helpful to point out that they were having a special on threading while she was working on my lashes, which is why I tried the service here. So worth the money in my opinion ($20 introductory rate for Tweeze and Thread), but since I live in Queens, I'll likely be sticking with some local threading salons that charge around $6 for the same exact service.

Conclusions: you can get better eyelash extensions in NYC (JJ on 56th, is one example) for around the same prices. Though it's a little pricey, the threading experience here is divine, especially with Krystal. You'd be hard-pressed to find nicer staff or, for that matter, some of the more rare services like tinting and curling.

I've gotten a Brazilian done here by Dejha and my eyebrows by Michelle and Crystal (I think that was her name) and I haven't been disappointed yet.

The Brazilian was NOT as painful as I thought it was going to be and Dejha was really fun to talk to.

I've only been going to this one other place to get my eyebrows threaded so switching over, I was a bit skeptical. I'm glad I did. I didn't even have to give them much explanation on what I wanted. I just said, "I like my shape, I just want a clean-up." Which they did, but with a little bit of shaping as well. What I like most is that they're verrryyyy meticulous here. I love the stations. The chairs lean back so you don't have to tilt your head backwards on an uncomfortable rolly-chair. I feel like I'm at the dentists, but .. in a good way? Haha.

I bought packages for both services. It was pricey, but it's worth it. Definiteeeely worth the money.

This place is dangerously close to work, and bound to become my new excuse for a quick "touch-up" of any sort. It's like a beauty junky's candy shop here...

    brow tints...
    thread + tweeze...
    lash tints..
    lash extensions...

    what don't they do here?!!!

I came in here on a whim because I wanted to subtly "jazz up" my look. A "browgraphy" (Brow tint + thread and tweeze) sounded enticing, so I went for it, and luckily they had an opening for me. In between appointments, Krystal didn't rush me, even though I had "stubborn brows." Disappointed that they pretty much used the same system that I used to (back when I'd lighten my hair and wanted matching brows) which is just plain old bleach, I was still pretty pleased with her paitence and the results. Perfectly shaped brows and a softened color, I'd maintain it if it were less expensive.

It's great to find a place that caters to these little beauty indulgences.

I had a groupon for a brow/upper lip thread. Based on the reviews, I thought this would be the perfect experience, but I was less than pleased with the results. My technician (not sure what the proper name is?) seemed to care less, and didn't really even talk to me about what she was doing or what I wanted. The threading was actually QUITE painful (and I think I have a decent pain tolerance). But most importantly, she really didn't do a good job. It was noticeably uneven, and within about two days looked as if I hadn't even had my brows done.

I will say that the receptionist and decor were very pleasant. I don't think I will be back (for threading, anyways).

It seems like most of the brow places in New York are either amazing but expensive, or cheap but sub-par.  Browhaus walks the line between these two categories perfectly.  I made a same-day appointment, and was seen right when I arrived with no waiting.  The receptionist and everyone were very friendly, and the space is cool but comfortable.

I had a thread/tweeze with Krystal, who did an amazing job.  She listened to my directions for a full, natural look and was quick and efficient.  I used to go to a spa uptown for my brow shapings, but Browhaus does a better job at half the price.  I am seriously so glad to have found this place!

The place is clean and attractive and cute, the staff is courteous, and they have a great deal for first-timers--$20 for your first eyebrow job with threading and tweezing, or even better, a deal where the next three visits come out to $15 each instead of the regular $24.

But you have to make sure you're as clear as possible about what you want in your brows if you're looking for the natural look. Clearly everyone has a very different interpretation of this. I grew my brows out for two months to come here with a fresh set of thick brows--wanting to go for a natural, just cleaned up style. Krystal did a very good job. She was thorough, they're perfectly symmetrical, and they look like what most people are looking for when they come here. A nice little arch, thin edges. It's just not at all what I asked for. Clearly her interpretation of "a little cleaning" and "I'd like to keep them thick" and mine are radically different. I can't believe I could have been clearer, but clearly I needed to draw a picture, or point to a photograph. I'm going to do that next time.

A good place to try especially if you are nervous about threading for the first time--just make sure you're prepared to talk in extremely clear and careful terms about what you want.

Walked in without an appointment. After I had checked a couple times on Yelp about the establishment. It clearly claimed that walk-ins were acceptable. Well I guess I was wrong. The ladies at the counter were extra RUDE. I asked if I could get eyebrow shaping and they said their next appointment would not be available for an hour. I asked if I could put my name down and walk around SoHo. They told me if I put my name down, I could not cancel because of their three hour cancellation policy. What kind of crap is that? I don't want a rude place like that touching my eyebrows anyways!

I have a standard brow place that I go to in SF (where I live) every 3 weeks, but I was out of town for work for an extended period of time and decided to get my brows done here. All I asked for was a clean up, and the girl that I had did a decent job, but it was just way too expensive. It ended up being $30 after tax and tip which is just way too much to spend on my brows. I mean, I'm used to spending $24 after tip at my usual place, but $30? I'm so glad I no longer live in NY.

first time i had it with michelle, she did tweezing+threading took her 15 mins but my eyebrows exactly how i want it.im so happy since i have a really thick asian bushy brow which i love it to be thick without being bushy with an arch she delivered what i want.

i came back to her2 more times but the last time, she did a bad job-my eyebrow arch were gone and im confused,
i don't know that she forgot how my eyebrow shape were,or how i like it to be..or i just having a bad day.

regardless,im kind of afraid to come again but at some point, i will get over it. and come back for michelle again.

A vain moment. This review is for lash extensions only. I'd never gotten lash extensions done before. When I saw the Luxury Spot deal, I splurged on two sets bc I am vain. Browhaus being an Singaporean-based chain was a plus for me, I figured the anal Singaporeans would've gotten it right vs the random spa down the street.

    **Things I didn't like**
    1) Price disclosure. You see the initial cost of getting the lashes applied and the tune-up (which is based on number of lashes). They never mentioned lash removal, which is another $20-30. While I was getting a tune-up, I heard a customer from the waxing side complaining about never being told about the difference in prices for waxing. They ended up charging her for the cheaper one. Also, based on reviews here, it looks like some got free tune-ups ($25); I didn't. Wtf?
    2) Bad tune-up.
-- I got a tune-up a week+ after the first application. The tune-up sucked. Lashes started falling out like crazy; there was also a lash affixed way off of my lashline. I called and they told me to come in and they would assess the situation and do whatever necessary to fix it, "even if it means removing and reapplying all of the lashes", said the receptionist. I was running late for my evening appt and they basically told me they were going to remove all and reapply, so if I wanted to remove it, I could still come in for removal. When I went to reapply 2 days later, they charged me for the full set minus 20%. Wow, way to take care of their tune-up messup. I wouldn't have gotten it redone if I'd known they were going to charge me for the full set. They didn't disclose this until I went to checkout after the reapplication. I'm not one to throw a hissy fit; I already gave them a chance to fix it. Luckily, I had one more set to redeem from the Luxury Spot deal so I didn't have to pay more $$$.
-- Of the 4(?) lash technicians, I've been worked on by 3. Jady was the BEST by a landslide, in terms of technique. They were all super nice, but if you're paying for a service, you want the best skill your money can buy.
    3) High-maintenance. This isn't a reflection of Browhaus but on the lashes themselves.
-- No water contact for the first 24 hours. Bad behavior: hot showers, rubbing your eyes, letting soap/shampoo near your eyes (and if it did, it hurt like a mofo), eye makeup (and if you do, only use water-based remover), etc. This is really a personal preference. I felt liberated when I got them removed for the last time (and the technician agreed with me).
-- Don't forget that your lashes grow. Their extensions are affixed on your actual lashes for the most part. The more your lashes grow, the less stable the extensions become. I was shocked to see how much my lashes grew over 1.5 weeks. A tune-up is a short term solution. I REALLY doubt you can have the lashes in for the 4-6 or 6-9 weeks that they advertise, without multiple tune-ups.
-- A blogger who got her lashes done here complained about losing her own lashes in her blog (but didn't mention Browhaus). Mine were overall fine. If you plan on getting them done, I would recommend using strengthener for the weeks leading up to it and after. I've used Talika. Once in a while a real lash would fall out with the extensions but it was as usual as shedding a lash, for me, minue the messed up tune-up.

    **Things I liked**
    1) Reception was really nice. They always picked up within the first few rings, were courteous, and reservations were not hard to make. Their last appt on the weekends is around 7:45pm for the working folks.
    2) The chairs are crazy comfortable. I almost fell asleep a few times, even with the normal salon sounds and kid running around.
    3) Overall effect. I got plenty of compliments on the lashes (even from my oblivious male coworkers). I didn't save any time getting ready in the morning, because whatever time was saved from eye makeup was spent avoiding the lashes while I did everything else. When the lashes were properly applied, I could see additional lashes neatly aligned with my own. When it wasn't, they looked clumpy. The first time I got them done, the technician used the longest length, 13, bc I have long lashes. It was a clumpy application (but I didn't know any better). When another technician inspected why the tune-up was messed up, she did note that length 13 was probably also too heavy for my lashes to support. Size matters and I was way happier with the shorter extensions. It wasn't as dramatic in a good way but still noticeable.

    **In the future**
    1) I have long lashes for an Asian. While the volume of the extensions were awesome, the price and maintenance of it wasn't. I'd go with a lash curl and mascara next time, or temporary fake eyelashes. One of my girlfriends thought I'd just put on a lot of makeup vs extensions.
    2) There is only one technician that I'd work with again - Jady.

LOVE this place. They share space with Strip Ministry of Waxing. Oh how I love one stop shopping..... I was early for a laser appointment and decided on a whim to get my eyebrows threaded. I am so happy I did. They gave me Jady who was awesome. She didn't speak much but was very meticulous; i mean seriously this woman did not miss one single hair. My brows have never looked so good. She even did a little filling in for me with some powder which I loved so much I also bought. A bit pricey but it is really nice powder. The greatest thing is if you buy a threading package, which was extremely reasonable, they schedule your laser and brows at the same time. Jady was quick and pretty much pain free. I definetly will be a customer for a LONG long time.

First off let me say that i rarely write reviews but felt compelled to speak out.
Pros: They accommodated me after being late. But I think the reason they did this is because they couldn't turn down business.

Cons: They did an awful job on my eyebrows. They made them too thin despite me stating twice that I like a thicker brow with some shape. I'll have to fill them in for weeks now.

Please go somewhere else & avoid the disappointment. Not only did they do a bad job but when I told them I was unhappy, she said "that's an arch honey". Very unprofessional!

Just stopped in today after hearing so much buzz about this place and I'm so glad I did! I've been doing threading for the last 3 years as I was using an acne medication that caused major irritation with waxing. I'm very particular about my eyebrows as I have nice full brows and have to make sure I protect them from the typical brow lady who has a tendency to overpluck, leaving me with thin brows, which make my face look fat!

I've always gone to my $6 indian threading shop, but decided to see how this place compared. They'd already gained major points as soon as I walked in the door--super friendly staff and lovely decor! My technician, Morgan thoroughly studied my brow shape before even touching her thread/tweezers. She created a nice smooth, natural looking arch that enhanced my bone structure, leaving both brows perfectly symmetrical. I will definitely be going back to Morgan she was a pleasure to talk to, really easy-going and the girl knows her stuff!

After reading the reviews I was a little worried but decided to try out the eyebrow threading/tweezing since I was in the area. Was able to come back 30 mins later for an appt. I made sure that I told Jade that I did not  want to change the shape and not to make them too thin and she listened. She did a great job and the eyebrows still look the same but nicely cleaned up. Thank you for listening!

Came here on 12/22 for the Browology that I bought on KGBDeals. It was a bit confusing once you get there, on the right hand side there's the laser receptionist and in more to the left is Browhaus.

Crystal attended to me. I didn't really know what to expect. She observed my face and brows, asked how I wanted them, I said natural not too bushy. She threaded them and then asked what color did I want for my brows. I had no idea what that was. I guess some kind of tint. It was wet and cold. But my brows looked great. She told me to not wash my face with warm/hot water since it will wash away the tint.

I think I'll stick to my $6-8 eyebrow threading spot.

Had an appointment and when I walked in at the time of appointment the place was empty. The front desk girl had me waiting 15minutes until I finally asked how much longer it would be. Then she looked up in surprise that i was still there! It seems the woman who was supposed to be working on me was working on another employee! They found someone else who was able to help me, but when I went up to pay there was no one to take my $. I waited 5 minutes while the brow girls watched and did nothing to help.
I will not go back again. Stripwax, on the otherhand seems to know what they are doing, not sure what is going on at Browhaus. I do not recommend this place. You can find better threading throughout this city.

This place shapes a good brow. I am obsessed with brows. They are the first thing I notice on every face. This place does a great job.

However, it can be incredibly painful. I happen to have corse hair so removal for me is more painful than others. Also, this place is $20 for a thread and tweeze....little pricey.

Go here if it's been a while and you need some shape!

Had the worst lash extension with Krystal. It felt very rushed compared to having extensions done at other places. Once I was done my eyes were really red and watering. I could see clumps of glue when I left but she said I could simply rub it off in an hour.  Once I got home, the clumps of glue could only be removed if my entire lash came out. Some of my lashes started falling out immediately. Big clumps of white glue on both lashes, some lashes glued to my eye lid and some of my own lashes glued down facing my eye so every time I blinked my lash rubbed against my eye. I could feel the clumps of glue every time I blinked and my eyes were red. It was very uncomfortable so I called and they told me to came in for a "touch up".

The best part was the only way it could be "fixed" was to sit through having all of the lashes removed. A harsh chemical is applied to remove the glue clumps & fakes lashes. It was very uncomfortable having the lashes yanked off and my eyes are still red the next day from the procedure. When I got home some of the glue was still stuck to my real lashes.

I spent over an hour and gave Krystal a generous tip of $30 (since it was right before new years eve) plus paid for the lash extensions but had to have all the lashes removed two days later. There was no way to "fix" the mess and even better Krystal blammed my thin lashes and did not apologize for the mess. I was under the impression one of the reasons to get lash extensions is because you have thin short lashes.

I had my eye-brows threaded, which was totally fine and I have no complaints about that.

However, I had eyelash extensions applied and it was ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE! In the beginning it was fine, but at some point the esthetician's hand slipped and she actually got glue in my eyes. Naturally I started blinking uncontrollably and spread the glue and then my EYE GLUED SHUT! I started crying and because my eyes were glued shut the tears couldn't escape and my eye started swelling. Eventually the esthetician (who was also panicking at this moment) took tweezers and cut a slit out the glue. After a 1/2 hour of this torture, she finally got all the glue out.

I've gotten eyelash extensions before at another place many times and nothing like this every happened. I don't ever remember ever having glue applied directly to my eye area (as opposed to just on the lashes that were then stuck on).

I complained to the manager that my eyes were hurting and she just asked if I wanted to go back to the same esthetician (no offer of a money back or anything like that). To be fair,  I was in such a state of shock that i didn't really strongly complain so I don't think they realized how horrible the experience was.

I got my Groupon here a few days ago.  I had a thread/tweeze eyebrows and lip service done by Morgan.  I think she did a great job.  I found it easy to make an appointment.  I thought everyone was nice and friendly.  The place was clean.  And the price was right.  Great experience and would highly recommend it.

I used a Groupon here to get my brows and upper lip done.  For more or less the same amount I spend on any regular Indian threading spot, I figured why not try this out.  I guess this is about as luxurious has threading gets.  You get seated in the type of chair you lay on at the dentist...complete with the bright circular lamp above.  I was actually pretty impressed at how meticulous the girl who did my brows was.  She definitely made sure to not miss a hair.  I was also impressed by the fact that it didn't hurt whatsoever.  However, for whatever reason, it took at least half an hour to thread my brows/upper lip.  I get my brows/upper lip done at regular Indian threading salons every few weeks, and it never takes more than 5 minutes.  My brows are very low maintenance...I have a good natural shape and only need a clean up every few weeks.  So I'm not sure why it took so long at Browhaus, but at the same time, it also goes to show how careful/meticulous they are.  The girl who did mine definitely did a good, painless job, but would I come back here again and pay full price?  Probably not.  It's definitely not cheap.  If you have the money to throw around for a more luxurious threading experience, then go ahead.  As for me, I'll be sticking to my run of the mill Indian threading salons.

I went here today and had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and Michelle, who threaded and shaped my brows, was great. It was the most painless brow treatment I've ever had. And for only $20...it's too good to be true!

My experience at Browhaus was nothing short of divine!  After years of waxing my brows at nail salons and not taking care of them properly, the fine Browhaus technicians introduced me to threading and I will never go back!  Seriously, they gave me great shape with little to no discomfort.  Also, the Lash Curl Up is to die for, amps up your lashes so you can go sans curler and mascara for days.  LOVE LOVE LOVE, highly recommend this place!!!

i was a walk-in customer today and i was attended to immediately. the technicians spend a lot of time on your brows. they are meticulous about shaping. apparently the entire team spent a month training in singapore (where browhaus is from) before they opened. great service, friendly staff and most importantly, fantastic shaping and grooming for your brows. i purchased the 10-session tweeze and thread pack so i will definitely be back!

I wish I could give this place a ZERO star rating. I never heard of this place but was desperate to get a new set of eyelash extensions without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.  So I finally decided to purchase the Lifebooker Loot "lash in bloom" service, which is just a basic set of eyelash extensions. After the technician was done, I looked like I had spider legs growing out of my eyelids. I complained to the technician about how the extensions looked crooked and she gave me attitude and reluctantly tried to fix them. Mind you, I have gotten extensions before so I know what they should look like. Within 24 hours clumps of the false lashes, including my real ones, started falling off! So I called immediately for the free tune up service they offer within a week of the original service. I couldn't make it back for the tune up for a few days but by the time I did the poor extensions were hanging on for dear life. Another technician fixed them and made them look better than the first round. However, it's been 48 hours since the tune up and I've already lost half of the full set. They just keep falling out!!!!

I went to Browhaus based on a recommendation from Refinery29 for eye lash extensions. I've been getting extensions done for a year now at the same place in LA, but needed a tune up and was in NY. I had the worst experience ever! The lash technician asked me if I wanted natural or dramatic lashes and I opted for natural as that's what I normally do (she did not show me a picture of the options). Well, it was not very natural looking, it looked worse then when I walked in. The lashes were very hard and did not feel natural at all. I also had a re-action to the adhesive they used. I woke up the next morning with itchy, red eyes and had to have them removed from a different lash place in Boston as I had traveled overnight for work. I spoke to the manager and she was very unfriendly and would not grant me even a 50% refund. I will NEVER go back there and definitely DO NOT recommend it for lash extensions. I'm sure there are many other great places in the city.

About three weeks ago I had my first experience getting lash extensions - the first time cost about $125 and it took less than an hour.  It's slightly uncomfortable to have your lower lashes taped down and I recommend getting the "treatment" tape which I think is more gentle on the skin.  The result was both natural and glamorous and I was quite satisfied.  However, even though I was careful in the shower, washing my face and not touching my lashes, I have found that they fall out very quickly.  I had the complimentary touch up service done 1 week after the initial set and now here I am two weeks later and almost all the lashes are out.  I guess I am one of the customers that really needs to go every other week for touch ups.  I sleep on my side and I think that perhaps weakens the adhesive and causes them to break off.  I think Browhaus technicians are very careful and skilled and I like the look of the lashes but for me, this may be too "high maintenance" for me to continue.  I do recommend this place for comfort, professionalism and skilled technicians.
