I did a search on Yelp, and Broughton Painting came up. They are really professional, courteous, and were very timely. My questions and emails were answered right away, and they called to confirm the date and time a day ahead. We even added a room last minute, and they were more than accommodating. We have just installed brand new hard wood floors and carpets and were a bit nervous. We have yet to find a paint splatter or drip, and the paint lines around the bathroom caulking or impeccable. They did such an excellent job - I couldn't have been happier. Good painters are hard to find, and I'll never use another company.

I highly recommend Tony Broughton and his team. I found them on Yelp and hired them to paint the whole interior of my new condo. They gave me a very reasonable estimate, were able to fit me in within a couple of weeks, did a great job, and kept the price of the work to the estimate. I then got my HOA to hire them to stain and seal all of the building's decks and paint the back of our building. Again, they gave us a reasonable estimate, were able to do the work quickly, did a great job and didn't charge a dime over their estimate. They were also very helpful in making paint color recommendations and always left their work areas as clean, if not cleaner, than they found them. Finally, they were courteous and very professional. Due to a misunderstanding one day with some other contractors working on our building (which I attribute to the other contractors), they couldn't paint one day and had to reschedule the work. I'm sure that was a big inconvenience for them, but Tony was so gracious about the whole thing and didn't charge anything extra for the lost time.

History
Established in 1955
In 1955, Bernard (Ben) Broughton started a small part-time painting business while working as a Washington, D.C. firefighter. His son, Bob, would paint for him during his summers and time off. The business remained a part-time venture until 1965 when Bob graduated from the University of Maryland and Ben had retired from the fire department. They began focusing their efforts on making the business a full time enterprise. While continuing to service their residential customers, Ben and Bob cultivated new relationships with home builders in the Washington, D.C. area. They worked closely with builders such as Washington Homes as they developed St. Charles and Anne Arundel counties.
In the early 1970s, Ben and Bob expanded their buisness in order to take advantage of the burgeoning construction market in Northern Virginia. To help focus and manage their efforts, Ben and Bob promoted Mike Leach to direct Virginia-based operations. To this day, Mike still manages residential and commercial w
