This place was recommended to us by the front desk guy at our hotel (Best Western Plus Prospect Park). They're super fast and the food is awesome. Real Brooklyn Pizza!

If you live in the southern region of Park Slope you should definitely consider making this your default slice of cheese pizza. A slightly sweet sauce, a perfect crust with a light layer of crunch and soft in the center and always consistent.
Once a month they have calamari pizza which is exactly what it sounds like. Cheese pizza with little squids on top. -

Soggy pizza, sparse toppings, nasty cheese. If you are a fan of thin crust pizza, you won't like Brothers. I won't be ordering from them again.

Two stars for not having cockroach legs in it...
Had a friend over from out of town. Sufficiently cowed by the rain, we resorted to http://seamlessweb.com and randomly picked a middle-of-the-road type of pizza place.
We weren't expecting much, yet our mushroom and pepperoni pie succeeded in underwhelming us. First of all, the mushrooms were canned. They should seriously have advisories about pizza places that use sliced mushrooms so that Internet customers have full disclosure. It was like ordering a white, silky looking dress from a fashion website and getting an off-white shift of staticky polyester in the mail.
The pizza was almost room temperature (morgue temp for pizzas). But hey, it was a miserable day out, so I chalked it up to the heroic journey of the delivery man. Alas, after a serious nuking, the cheese still wasn't stretchy and the ingredients had not become properly embedded.
Most unforgivable, though, was the crust. It somehow managed to have that cardboard taste of cheap crusts. But at least cheapo crusts come apart easily. This crust had the resilience of a pitbull's chew toy, like grocery store Italian bread two days after purchase.
"How is it?" I asked my friend, who is from California and lives in DC (what I'm getting at is that his expectations can be no higher than that of someone from Boston or New York).
"Mmm, it's all right," he said. I knew was his polite was saying "This is total shit for the twenty bucks we shelled out."
The morning after, there were a couple slices left. Reheated and chewed. Even tougher. I can't resist another analogy about this: how do you screw up pizza this much? It was like plain spaghetti in the elementary school cafeterias on the days it was clumpy and waxy and just plain awful. Even as a kid, you'd think, 'Now how the hell did they F that up? Hell, I could cook better than this."
Such was the experience of consuming Brother's. I'm all for brotherly love, but will withold my pizza-ly love from this joint in the future no matter how hard it's raining out.Listed in: SLICE OF LIFE

Wow! I am so surprised there aren't more reviews. Their pizza is okay. You can dine in or take out. If you decide to dine in, you order up front where you can see all your options right in front of you. I don't usually get the pizza, I actually really love their meatballs and the spaghetti with marinara. Their garlic knots are also really good.

Delivery of a large plain pizza took almost an hour. There is something about the sauce I don't like - too much of it and it isn't sweet enough. They have a lot of deals for pizzas/salads/wings, etc. that might be good if you're having a party, but otherwise I will get plain pies elsewhere.

So one of the guys who's always working there alternately tries to get me to "take a long vacation" with him or has a tendency to propose marriage. Slightly unnerving, but anyway -- on to the food:
Okay, firstly -- Brothers has the awesome "walk-up window," the Brooklyn equivalent of a drive-thru when you (okay, me) happen to be out in the hood with your dog. Points for that. The main points, however, are awarded for being mmmmyummytastic. Word. Try the sicilian. I lived across from this place for three years and I get nostalgic that I'm not anymore (even though I'm still within walking distance). All about the bros. -

One of my favorite chill spots!
Ok so maybe the 5 stars are too enthusiastic. But I love my pizza place.
When my roommate and I go there to slay the munchies that attacked after some strenuous stoop-sitting, we walk in and the guy knows buffalo wings, hot not mild, one rice ball with sauce and cheese, and two rolls-stromboli and spinach.
The games are always on, the food is quick, hot and sooo satisfying.
Plus I get to go in my pajamas if I want to.
Brother's Pizza reminds me of the Brooklyn pizza places I grew up around, where the pizza man asks how youre doing and tells you to stay out of trouble. And nothing says 5 stars like a hot slice of nostalgia. -
Review from Carlos C.
What can I say, this spot makes real good pizza. They got real fast and friendly workers, I love that they make other stuff besides the usual suspects*. I like this place coz it's open late, and I usually eat here for lunch. The place is always clean, and that's all that I can say, just give 'em a try and then Yelp about it.
*Besides pizza they make good baked zitti and eggplant parmigian. -

I'll start by saying I'm not one to normally trash places on Yelp.
It's an average pizza place. Three stars. But it's around the corner from Luigi's and Lenny's (-1 star). Those places are good and less than three blocks away.
I got two plain slices and an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were tough and flavorless. The slices had a thick, rubbery crust (not crunchy) and the sauce was pasty and thick.
I was very unimpressed and would go to Luigi's or Lenny's on 5th Ave any day over this place.
It wasn't the worst pizza I've ever had but it was definitely not anything to write home about. -

I had a rough day and was not about to start cooking dinner at 10:45pm. I called Brother's instead. They are on http://delivery.com, the delivery guy is polite, and the non-pizza items pleasantly live up to the pizza.
You can order all of their toppings as half-pie or over the whole surface, too, which I think is a nice feature. The food arrived hot but the bottle of soda was still cold, even though I was probably the last delivery before closing!
This was the third time I've ordered from them and they have never disappointed me. In addition to their pizza, I've gotten hot heroes, wings, and the antipasto salad. -

I order from this place once a week. The delivery is pretty quick, even on a Saturday night.
This is not gourmet quality pizza or pasta; it's a takeout joint. With that in mind, this is my favorite pizza place in the south slope.
The garlic knots leave something to be desired, but I love the baked ziti, and the combo specials are a really good deal.
I almost don't want to give a good review because then other people will order from them and my wait time for food will go up. But they're nice and their food is good, so they deserve a good review. -

REALLY?! i'm surprised and maybe it's because i love pizza and have had too much.
you want something to hold you over- have a slice here and get a corona. (corona's here are good)
::sigh::
yes the guy here is friendly- in a little molester sort of way but still, friendly. yes the grandma slices are okaaayyy but being a fan or claiming it's as good as it gets?

ps- yes, do try the meatball parm hero. THAT is actually pretty good. -

I have to agree with the 2 ladies who previously reviewed this pizza place. They are always really friendly, and they have great hours. I only live a few blocks away so it was the first pizza place my roommate and I hit up after moving to the area. They have several different specialty slices every time I go there, but I do think they tend to use the wrong cheese or too much of it like Robin said. I've had a "rubbery" slice or 2 from this place before. But they are so convenient! I've never tried anything other than the pizza but one of these days I will.

Brother's is the epitome of what I want in a neighborhood pizza spot. They are open late, take credit cards, have an impressive menu and I have had good service. My buffalo chicken slice was surprisingly good and my roommate gave their lunch special high remarks - I believe it's six bucks for a pasta, garlic knots and soda. I can't speak to the delivery as I am within walking distance

I'm not a fan of New York pizza, but since I live here and I am addicted to pizza I have to suffer through. For the most part, I'd rather suffer through this than any other in the neighborhood. It's typical pizzeria pizza - nothing special. But there seems to be a little more flavor in the sauce and quality in the ingredients here. The staff is also very friendly, and I've never had a problem with my order. I've been very satisfied with the other items on the menu also, and the salads are a good size for the price.
