brothers is a quaint little deli that makes a good breakfast sandwich. cash only, but not a shock in this neck of the woods for such a small place. i've always had exactly what i've asked for - it's been served to me so hot i had to let it cool for a moment, which is great this time of year on a chilly morning.
they're very laid back. i've seen customers bringing in their own coffee. the cashier usually goes by the honor system, taking your order but allowing you to pick your drinks and tell her what you imbibed after you've finished your meal and are ready to leave.
though the old-time, fallser regulars can give you a bit of an out-of-place feeling, the staff makes you feel welcome and serves great food promptly. not a place i'd like to sit around and hang out watching the bad daytime tv they have on, but happy to grab a quick breakfast sandwich when i'm in the neighborhood. -

This place may have the best hoagies in Philly. All the right stuff: great meats, delicious sharp provolone, big leaf of romaine, fresh rolls that are great as a standalone item. Everyone at my office gets excited to order from here... and they deliver.

A place that is easy to miss from the street as it is built in the side of a house basically, Brother's Old Style Deli offers breakfast sandwiches, a variety of specialty sandwiches, hoagies, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, salads, as well as tomato pie that they have brought in. They also have a few side orders - potato, tuna, chicken, or macaroni salad - and cole slaw. The decor in the seating area is surprisingly quaint, much like the Epicure Cafe a few blocks down the street. Seating is limited to about 10 people.
The store hours on the door read they are open until 6:30pm, but I was told by the girl working there that the hours are 5 on weekdays and 4 on the weekend. Don't mistake the door nearest the corner as the entrance even though it has the store hours on it - many people presume the store to be closed all the time because of this.
Today was my first time ordering there, and I must say the panini I had with smoked turkey, bacon, spinach, tomato, & cheese with cajun mayo was excellent. The bread especially was seeded and seasoned and had all kinds of flavor and chewy texture. I will definitely be back and will update my review when I do. -

Too busy eating to write a full review.
Yumm.
Get the number 11 spicy ham with cajun sauce.
A generous portion and a perfect set of tastes atop a bread that is out of this world.
Cash only. But worth the stop at the ATM -

This place is great! Delivery was prompt, and the sandwiches were delicious. Fresh meat and cheese, crunchy veggies and sesame seed rolls! Will definitely order there when I have a sub craving!

Some of the best hoagies in the city, The sandwiches are huge and the meat is boars head which in my opinion should be the only meat that a sandwich should be made out of. The make this one sandwich with spicy turkey, pepper jack cheese, roasted red peppers and chipotle mayo which is making me drool on my keyboard just thinking about it!
The only complaint is the staff is a little abrupt but maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Other then that a great place for a perfect hoagie! -

I don't like sandwiches in general but I love this place. I'm not sure if it's the high quality meats or the bread is just that awesome... but I love this place.

When I lived in East Falls I used to frequent this place all the time. For hoagies, bread is key. They have a seeded bread closer to a Primo Hoagie, but far better. So fresh! Brothers is clean, but small. And I feel everytime I walk by, they are closed. They make a nice sandwich, though, with sandwiches named after Philly/Neighborhood things like "The Fallser" etc. Recommend.

We had just moved in to our new place and wanted to see what was good in the area. I am glad I stumbled upon this place via Yelp. We got a Italian hoagie and it was one of the best I've had in a while. All the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The staff there was not the friendliest but weren't overtly mean either. Probably because they were getting ready to close. I found it strange that they are only open till 4pm, every day, I believe. I wish they were open later cause I can't wait to go back!

Best rolls around. #7 Tilden Special is the best there is. I worked in East Falls for about a year, and i still take the half hour drive to get it. Well worth the trip.
