Decent place for conversation, specials that are cheap by any standards, and bartenders that you can converse with. Gets crowded late - so it before 9pm, you can chill, talk, watch sports, be a local....after 11pm, most T-S it becomes loaded with frat house overflow...Ashlee, a bartender I know, always makes for good convo and does an excellent job! ;) Mike, the manager, diehard Cubs fan! Overall, you can do worse on any college campus. Leave aside the credit stuff (hold on your card), and lack of a menu (food only before 9pm - burger fries), and it is amongst the local legends Harry's and XXX (for food) at Purdue.

This is the best bar on campus! The drink specials are always great and cheap, the atmosphere perfect, and the 15 cent wings can't be beat (wednesdays)!!! The staff is usually friendly, and you don't have to wait too long to order a drink. Best place to drink near campus!

Normal campus bar. They have good specials on weeknights. Crowded, but not any worse than the other bars.

I appreciate the general manager(?) reaching out to me so quickly on Yelp and his apology - unfortunately I've already left Indiana, but because of his quick customer service I'd be willing to give Brothers another shot :). So we shall see
Listed in: Beer, Wine, and everything…, 7-6-5 Indiana, Thanks for getting back to me!

One reason and one reason only this bar gets my props - Wednesday nights. They have 10 cent wings that are amazing, and dollar high life bottles. (they also have a goof fishbowl deal too).... weekdays in general at brothers are great, its easy to get a table and there are TVs all over for watching sports.
On the weekend it is a different story. This is a very narrow (but long) bar.... so it can be very hard to move around the place.... but once you find an open spot usually towards the back or upstairs its a pretty fun time. It can take a bit to get drinks because of this too...
I have never had a credit card issue like stated in the other review... and I go here all the time, but I do know a couple friends that did (this was over a year and a half ago) before they changed their credit card policy. -

Brothers is another campus bar with its small perks above the others. They have $2 pint nights on Tuesdays where you can order a pint of good beer and enjoy sipping on it. They have some micro brews as well as domestics. More recently they have implemented a Monday night special where you can buy Rolling Rock for very cheap, most likely trying to compete with Where Else's quarter beer night. Wednesday used to be very exciting for a group of friends and me because it is wing night. The wings used to be ten cents and you could get up to 30 of them, along with $1 Miller Highlifes all night. Those prices have gone up since the last time I went. They are still cheap, but for people who once experience the fruits of Wednesday nights at Brothers tend to be slightly bitter towards the change. Brothers has a nice atmosphere as far as campus bars ago. It has three stories to it, which is rare around the West Lafayette area. I've listed the three best nights of the week. You choose!

The set up of this brother's is way different then the one that is in
Iowa City, I like the lay out of this one a little more, although there is no room to move around in here, upstairs is the place to be. There is a small town feel to this brothers. -

Tonight I decided that I hate this place more than I hate Stacks. And if I hate you more than I hate Stacks, that's REALLY bad as far as I'm concerned. The only people that come here are jocks, frat boys, and the girls that want to fuck them. The drinks are weak. Every weekend the place gets so packed that it take a half hour just to get around. The only night that I might even consider entertaining the thought of coming here is Wednesday when they have fishbowl night. Oh, and I don't recommend keeping a tab here. Pay with cash or immediately close out after paying with your card. One time I had a tab of $15 but they took $50 out of my bank account. They say they do it to "make sure the account is valid" but I think that's total bullshit. And yes, they do eventually correct it, but as far as I'm concerned, they should get it right the first time.

It's a small cramped space, but I think the drinks are the best on campus. Wing night is a joke though. It doesn't start til 9pm, and they're very finicky about how many you order and what you pay with.
